  1. You can wear two legendary weapons, just that the other must be the legendary crit dagger, not a sword. Main hand usually is the crit sword unless you go dual daggers, but going daggers is a lot more expensive than crit(as you would need one thana and one incantation samurai dagger to be decent).
  2. Blackjack or 21 is one of the easiest, I actually thought it is common knowledge nowadays on how to play it so I haven't explained it in the previous post, sorry. 1. You and the Dealer will get two cards from the deck. The point of the game is to get exactly 21 in total, or higher than the dealer but not over 21. Aces can be counted either having a value of 1 or 11, while face cards(kings, queens, jacks) are counted as 10. 2. You have an option to get one extra card, but keep in mind that you automatically lose the moment you go over 21. 3. The dealer must get at least 17 total. Meaning he has to keep drawing until he gets 17 total or higher or go over 21(meaning he will lose). That is the basic rules of Blackjack. If we go over on how it is played in casinos, I remember it will go like this. There can be around 2-6 players. 1. The dealer deals cards from left to right, giving 2 cards to each players. After giving all the players their hand, the dealer gets one card and put it face up, this is the first card in the hand of the dealer. Before this, the players can usually put their bets in already. 2. On a players turn, he can either "hit"(take a card), "stand"(end their turn), "double"(double wager, take a single card and commit, meaning after three cards he will "stand"), "split"(if your two cards are the same value, split them up and make two hands, dealer gives additional one card to each,meaning you have a different bet for each "hand"), or surrender(you quit but you get half your bets). 3. After all the players turns are finished. The dealer then takes cards until he gets 17 or higher or he goes over. If he goes over, every player wins. If he does not, anyone who has a value higher than his hand wins, anyone who is lower loses. 4. A blackjack(strongest hand in this game) is any first two cards drawn that is exactly 21. This hand always wins, even if it is against someone who has 3 cards but has a total of 21. In short, if anyone gets it he wins automatically, if the dealer gets it everyone loses and if the dealer and a player gets it, it is a draw. 5. In case of a draw, nothing happens. he neither loses nor gains a chip. Compared to poker which takes a bit of longer time to actually play, this is by far the fastest, as it basically ends the moment the dealer starts getting his hand.
  3. 1. You exchange the tickets for convenience and storage purposes. I am not gonna carry 1000 seeds that I will be selling when I can just make that 10 tickets. It is less of a hassle for sellers. 2. Champs are the easiest to MVP with but most classes can do it. Biochemists are good mvpers, and Snipers are probably the best, since Snipers can hit Thanatos and other ghost type MVPs that the champ or biochems cannot hit with their best skill(asura strike and acid bomb respectively.) 3. Yes it does not tell you the coordinates. 4. Getting the vote forsaken set should be top priority after the legendary stuff. Then vote sinx cape. After getting those gears, and have decent cards you are mostly on equal footing with the others. 5. Hero remains drops at 50% if I remember correctly. 6. Sadly none. 7. You cannot buy converters, but box of storm is pretty easy to hunt, just get the card that allows BOS to drop from certain monsters, use a wizard and spam away. 8. Going crit type, get the critical sword FIRST(meaning doing the legendary quest again). Daggers makes double attack hit(the skill of thief) and if you go crit build, that will miss since your dex is low thus you have no hit. The crit dagger is meant to be an off hand dagger. After getting that sword, cards would be (the cards would be easiest to hardest to get, meaning you should prioritize the list and get them asap). 1. Paper cards on weapons 2. Skeleton workers(mobster card works too) 3. Turtle General or Goldenring/Hydra card(replace the hydra ONCE you have 2x fbh, this is mostly a pvp card so if you are not doing that, skip it.) 4. Ghostring 5. Tao Gunka 6. 2x FBH
  4. Honestly, the poker might take a bit longer to code itself into RO. Regarding card games, Blackjack seems to be the easiest to code and far easier to learn and implement.

  6. GS: They only need to give GS new weapons, which is starting already. Other than that, I never really had problems with the class. The delay takes time to get used to though. SL: I agree to some extent. The class can auto-resu and due to eAthena's setup, they gain invulnerability the first few seconds of their resu as long as they do not move, but they still reflect melee damage(if you are wearing something that does that). What I mean to say is that the HP increase should not be too high that the reflect build gains high hp + resu. But I find the SL class decent even with low HP.
  7. Never bothered me at all(actually, it took me a while to notice it). But then again, I never use fcity as my main spawn point or main city so I can understand the sentiments behind the rant.

  10. Went a while playing Dota 2 with my college friends then tried to play pubs. I now seriously hate everyone in pubs. Who the hell picks 4 carries in a team?

      I think you misunderstood me. When I was playing with college friends, we all know what we will pick, I was using Huskar then going mid and we won that. After which, I tried to play pubs alone, that's when I got people with 4 carries after I already picked Razor.

      Also, carries do not really win games especially fast games.

  11. There are a lot of headgears that you will no longer find anywhere else besides players, and some of the players that has them already quit. Marshmallow cap is one of the rare. Some unreleased headgears that give no stats are rare as well, I only have two of them, Shinlit Hat and one of those Kafra dolls you get in your head. Other than those unreleased headgears, some Rucksacks that are seasonal can no longer be obtained as well. The old forsaken gear(forsaken daggers, etc) will start to get rare as the quest that gives them is already gone. Rainbow emp is also one rare, I believe it was given out through an event?
  12. If you are not using champ, you really don't need that much low of ping. I get around 100-300 randomly at times and i can manage.

  14. I will only agree to this IF we put more rules to it. 1. In order for stats not to be too much: Only characters that are exactly lvl 99 and non knight are allowed(this will be hard since it is easy to level. we would have to make an NPC that makes you 99 exactly). 2. No MVP cards allowed. That would probably simulate low rate pvp if you guys still want it.
  15. Quite the contrary. Anyone who just +1 a suggestion without actually analyzing it is the one who does not know how to play RO. RO was never a balanced game, hence pvp rooms in low rates only consists of the same classes. This will also be the case here. This is a high rate, our stats are not meant to be played with the normal gears of RO.
  16. ^ yes dual dragoon wiz will not work, that is why I would say use amon ra if you want higher kyrie chance, or just use plain antique firelocks or green ferus or just use FBH with dragoon wiz if you have to. Your other weapon is basically what I have as well. Although to fully utilize it, you have to get close or use melee reflect.
  17. The reason we have custom items is because RO or rather Gravity is bad at making the classes balanced. This is rather shown when transcend classes are introduced and SinX and Champ are basically murdering everyone. I will try to give an opinion with the rules you have. Rules: • Golden Thief Bug card, Thanatos Card, and Custom cards are disabled. - Severe spamming of storm gust + lord of vermillion. Only people that can fight it are profs. • Legendary, Donate, Vote, Emperium Drops, Activity and custom gears disabled. - severely hinders classes that needs them, and again, spamming of storm gust will screw you, then frost joke as well • Knight or not, everyone is allowed to join as long as you are base level 255 - seems fine • No party allowed except on GM hosted event (see Pros section for more details) - obviously • FFA - Free For All, just like our current PvP room you can kill anyone you want even if you are in the same guild. - • All buffs/FCP are dispelled upon entering the room except Healer NPC buffs. But you can still cast buffs/FCP inside the Room. -screws everyone that is not a biochemist • Full Strip skill is not allowed, but other strip skills are allowed (strip shield/armor/weapon/headgear) - makes stalker weaker actually • @storage command is disabled, you can @warp to go in the room but you can't use @warp command inside the room. - this is basic • 3 Kiel card is still allowed if you manage to find non-custom upper, middle, and lower gears to put the cards in. - again, spamming of frost joke and/or storm gust will make the pvp room not fun • Feeding not allowed. Feeding may result to automatic ban from the room. - you can't monitor it • Ofc, Cheating and 3rd party programs are not allowed - as always No custom items will screw all classes except champs. I mean seriously, when you see a champion, you switch to your GR. with no custom items, you have to have an unfrozen armor against wizards and clowns. however, champions can just use garm armor and you are screwed. Basically, in a 1v1 situation, Champion will win because you absolutely have no counter against him. you can't wear unfrozen as one asura without gr will kill you, the moment you use gr, you get frozen(don't forget the stormy knight cards) I will now address your pros Pros: • Everyone is on an equal ground. Rich or not. Experience, skills, and good internet connection will be the key to winning.- not really, champions are above everyone if you think about it. • Can be a good way to kill time. Not everyone enjoys PvP rooms because they can't go head to head w/ the geared players so putting up this kind of room can make everyone a match. - the room will not be enjoyable since you are stuck with using the strongest classes without custom items. • A good kick-starter. Even new comers w/ past RO experience can be a top player, meaning they can earn tokens to jump start their FRO adventure. - they really would not be, as people who are familiar with the server knows how everything works anyway. Just because someone plays only in FRO does not mean his RO experience is dull. • ^ Less beggars. You can simply tell item/zeny beggars to join the Classic PvP Ladder so they can earn tokens. - seems fine, but this can be done on the normal pvp room too if we just make it so • An additional event. GMs can host a LMS/PTvsPT event in this room. It'll be more exciting since everyone has unpredictable builds. - no one will use unpredictable. the stats are still for 255/255. just roll high damage classes and you will kill a bunch of people upon entering. • Will sharpen your knowledge in Ragnarok. This will enhance your damage/reduction calculation skills. - you actually do not need this. everyone will be on very low hp. just roll in a full asura champ, a sonic blow sinx or even a bolter prof. hell with no FCP upon entering, biochemist will be a hell to fight(you cannot use RSX+GR so you screwed, then you have no GTB as well).
  18. At the moment, the mvp room is much more guaranteed than hunting. I mean, if you do not see the MVP in the map after searching for like 5 minutes, farm zeny for 30minutes then come back to the map. After getting zeny, you can either farm seeds or farm some more zeny and try the mvp room, then just do the normal MVP hunting in between. That way, no time is wasted, and you will eventually get the card. It beats trying to wait and check the mvp every few minutes.
  19. We already have MVP rooms though. There are already other ways of getting cards.
  20. 1. Ladder PVP has a prize, therefore I believe that pvp room that records pvp record should not have @commands available. 2. Create two ladders, one with legendary gears only(no WoE drops, no vote items, no donation, no rings either). Event and quest items like legendary auras should be the only ones allowed. Will also have different type of prize than the normal ladder. 3. Mix it up with quests or events so people will actually ladder. 4. UPDATE THE PVP REWARDS. There's a reason why people do not use the pvp room anymore. Back then, the wings that we can get(sacreds) from ladder are the best in the server. Therefore, the competition is very fierce. 5. Adding to the pvp rewards, make some form of rewards that only a SPECIFIC CLASS can wear. This would make it so that people with multiple characters will have to ladder a lot of times to get them. Example: Let us create an aura with decent effects, can only be gotten through the pvp rewards, BUT can only be worn by snipers and it is not tradeable. This will be some sort of bragging right. Right now, as every pvp reward is tradeable, most people who has them didn't really pvp, they just bought the stuff. So why bother laddering when it is easier to buy from people? Make an item for every class. Auras would be really nice as it is visual, doesn't clash with valk helms and is not part of any set.

  24. Actually, in certain situations, the dwiz shoes helps if enemies are mostly physical attackers. If you get ganged in those situations, energy coat won't save you since wizard hp aint that high. You also won't be using stave always, so it is better to switch to a shoe that gives some sort of defense, especially you claim that this is a WoE build. Also, in WoE, very rarely you will be needing stave crasher(if you do, then your guildmates are slow to kill someone using GTB), so the FBH is a bit wasted there. The 10% matk it gives can easily be replaced with int foods and buffs. Profs have energy coat as well and have higher hp than wiz, have more defensive skills like fog. Even then, they still die. You cannot claim energy coat to tank everything. In WoE, it might be enough as ranged damage is nerfed there, but in PvP, I would not rely on energy coat alone. Regarding the acc cards, I agree with you, the Siroma are fixed if you use the ring and you use deluge+water ball. If you use stone curse extensively or your strategy in WoE is to be with a prof that can spider web for you, imp card should work well. In other words, any of them would do, as the increase in cold bolt on the ring is not that huge.
  25. I honestly gave up using AI for my homun as it is not needed(since atm only Lif works well, and Lif doesn't really need any type of AI).
