  1. Why would you need vanberk 2x if your crit rate is already 100+? While I do get that you might need it for high luk classes, I just do not get why is it not just on a spare headgear that you switch into when fighting high luk classes. Using l.blade will make you put a lot of agi since it is a one hand sword. While it does give you a bit of damage boost, it is not that huge so I would agree with plok and use a dagger as an offhand since you are trying to combine breaking + pvping. If it was ONLY pvp, I would use l.blade since my primary focus is only on damage. Since you are also breaking, any stat that you use for more agi will make your vit be sacrificed. You need to be alive in WoE, you need survivability going in. The gloom GR armor won't really save you so I would swap it out for a better armor. I would also say that 280 str is a bit high. Again, you are trying to combine breaking and pvping here. Your pvp damage should be high enough even i your base str is around 260 or even 250. I would play around with the stats more but for me, I like having 280-300k+ hp but deals good damage. But that's me so it might not work for you. What I am saying is that you should play around the stats more.

    It is. Hell you can even farm thana with Critical built stalker using auto attacks if you want. Or copy triple attack from champ and auto attack.
  3. Actually, back around 2007-2009, pvp room has constant people. The time I returned around 2012 or early 2013, it was almost empty. The reason I see was because the PVP rewards remained stagnant, it was the same pvp reward back in 2007, it was still the pvp reward during 2012, while all the other stuff(donates and even votes) got better. Sacred wings are good items, but it does not have the same utility as it was back then in 2007. We even have legendary sacred wings now that is only missing a few % in reduction, but hell of a lot easier to get.

  6. When I still play Dota 2 and HoN, I usually play the role of Initiator/Support/Roamer. Basically I do buy wards and shit, but my gameplay is mostly me running in and stunning a target and for teammates to pray on. I mostly play Vengeful Spirit and similar characters that can do that. The most successful character that has that suicidal tendencies is probably Batrider in Dota 2, and Electrician in HoN. I don't really give a shit on my death streaks nor kill streaks as long as we win. A college friend of mine who only uses Lycan uses a similar suicidal gameplay but he wrecks towers as fast as he can while I roam around trying to kill stuff. We can win 80% of the time if there was no retard on our team(like one time I saw a crystal maiden making a basher)
  7. 1. I thought you are invulnerable when the bot check comes out? Or I assume because I never had the problem you mentioned. 2. Not sure if that comes in as skill edits or source edits. FRO rarely does those kind of edits as it might do more harm than good. 3. Any wizard/prof/magic class player that gets shutdown by a simple GTB card is not really good. All Decent magic class users will actually say that Maya card is worse than GTB by a long shot. 4. Not sure because i havent tested, but Kingring and necromancer cards do more than enough to increase MATK. I don't think we need another one that increases it. 5. Been discussed before and it was rejected i think. 6. None of the jobs listed there are weak, except probably Gunslinger(until they get new valk weapons which we had been suggesting before). In fact, Stalker is probably one of the most versatile characters in game if used right.
  8. 1. Warframe. Gotta love space ninjas shooting rifles against space zombies or other space people. 2. Elsword. Girlfriend only plays casual stuff so I play Elsword with her. Basically she likes it because she can smash buttons and still kill stuff. 3. Smite. Need to have a different MOBA for me 4. Dota 2. ONLY WITH COLLEGE FRIENDS, NEVER WITH RANDOMS. 5. Starcraft and Starcraft 2. Plays this with a bunch of Korean friends I met online and some of them also I met in Korea. Needless to say, I almost always lose.
  9. Well, the time it takes usually depends on what needs to be changed. If it was item stats etc, it does take a longer time than the others I put in there. The removal of the demi human reducts on the stalker bow actually took longer if I remember correctly, simply because no one actually suggested it, and by the time I suggested it, tons of people using the reducts build nearly went on a riot. Not sure what are the needed stuff to accept a suggestion, but i think if it was for the items, they take their time to confirm the community input about it. Other people(like in the freyr case) arguing on why something like that is not OP also does not help with the case. I do believe that only Genesis, Veracity and Dream accepts suggestions too so I kinda understand the time delay. But then again, this is off topic with the suggestion itself. On the WS issue, correct me if I am wrong but the decrease agi actually dispells cart boost if I remember correctly. It doesn't just slow down the WS, but it dispells. Or I maybe wrong, I haven't played my WS for so long. P.S. Ahh the almighty punk card. It also used to piss off tons of sinx back in the day where 90% of the server is a sinx and it does piss of some champs to a lesser extent.
  10. Well again mainly because I do not want one part of my build lacking. I can compensate the loss of HWiz cards with buffs and Foods so I mainly do not use it. But as I said, if you have it, then why not.
  11. Mostly general. Some bosses and mobs still can stun, so having vit of 20 will get you killed once you get mobbed. There is no MVP/PVP stat build for SL; it is the same, the only thing that changes are cards you use.
  12. Well I am not him but I can name a few of my own. 1. Increase effect of TGK on merchant classes 2. Decrease of pricing of acid/grenade bottles 3. Putting of delays of some skills to fight BN(still in development but seeing some light) 4. Removal of Parry use on Freyr(this is also a community given output) 5. Removal of the demi human reducts on the stalker bow so it is not OP 6. The desperado delay cap to 80% instead of the originally proposed 70% 7. Increased Holy cross damage on the Paladin weapons 8. Making the legendary stalker bow actually 80% of the valk counterpart(it isn't originally so) 9. Legendary bio mace have lvl 5 bolts instead of lvl 3(this is mostly on GM Wish's part though but there was a healthy discussion regarding it) 10. Adding the 10% more acid bomb increase on the blessed ring of creator(it originally does not have it) 11. Buffing of Sacred wing 12. Putting back of Job classes section in the forums I am proud of my suggestions here as it helped a lot of people. I hope that this makes it clear that if you actually argue decently on your suggestions and provide proof on why it is needed it will be accepted and be implemented.
  13. I would like to point out some things myself. 1. Regarding your stats. You need at least 99 vit for you not to be affected by stun. having 20 vit with no TGK is suicidal even with Ka- skils 2. a minimum of 50 STR is actually ok already. You are not gonna be spamming seeds anyway as a SL. 300 int is too much imo. 3. The armor cards are nice on paper as they do random autocast skills, but those are rather unneeded if you can kill fast enough, and SL can. I would rather have TGK in there even in PVE situations 4. High priest card is unneeded imo. While assump is nice, your HP is not decent enough to make use of it. Tumbling is there to evade a lot of stuff and it is more reliable than assumptio 5. If you are doing PVE, using dual FBH is not always needed as it just gives 20% matk when you can put some stuff to increase your survivability. And INT foods can give you some matk if you really need it 6. I'd rather have imp/siroma cards than INT runes as MATK should be high enough to make Esma damage a lot, especially if you use warm wind. No need to get super high INT. 7. No mention of Osiris card? This is in direct relation to my number 2, it is why you won't really spam seeds in PVE and even on PVP at times. 8. I don't really think HWiz card is that useful but for PVE purposes, it might work. But your matk should be high enough anyway. Keep in mind that what I wrote here is of personal opinion. I rather not fix my build solely on just one. This is a pvp server, hence I put the 99 vit minimum and TGK arguments thinking that if a player comes in and attacks me, I should be able to at least defend. Having 20 vit will leave you very vulnerable even with Ka- skills.
  14. It's a magic support class. A decently geared SL can hit bolts and stave crashers just as hard as some profs(minus the double bolt of course) and most wizards. There are tons of soul link skills that are so useful to other classes, like the stalker, priest, and the soul linker one. 2 Soul linkers that soul linked each other and buffed their team in GVG or BR will be at a distinct advantage just because of Kaite(reflects magic skills) Fun to annoy Champs and other melee characters by simply rolling a full reflect build. It's fun when you get hit by 12k normal attacks from a sinx and you reflect 22k to him. It is also fun to watch a champ stone curse you, lex and hit you with an asura only to see him die due to reflect and you get auto resu.
  15. Not really left out compared to the star gladiators who don't even have rings nor valk weapons. It's just that only about 5% of the total server population knows how to use them. And they are like star gladiators in a sense that they are only able to fight specific classes unlike most. A good SL will rarely lose against a champ, or a magic class, but will easily lose to others(like WS for instance)

  19. I would actually advice against harmony, and I think Genesis already mentioned the hazards and reasons on why we will not use Harmony(forgot which thread).
  20. Actually we did get an HP boost in the form of TGK giving a bit more to merchant classes (you should see what kind of HP we had back then). For me, the major issue is dispel and dec agi. However, fixing that would need skill edits and I am not sure if the admins would be up for it.
  21. That's a whole different suggestion and it was also being discussed already in a previous suggestion. I would say that there are other places you can farm zeny where geared players are not gonna bother you(abyss_03's mvp drops a crucial quest item, hence tons of geared players go there).
  22. As I said, we do not do skill edits unless deemed absolutely necessary, and this is not necessary. We have seen that "archers are using bow, they cannot use shield" argument so many times as well. Removing shield cards would make them pointless. Magic classes has the highest damage attainable without using expensive MVP cards like thanatos. A single lvl 10 bolt from my wizard can hit 8-10k on usakoring friggs shield, removing that and any magic class can kill snipers within 1-3 casts of their skills. Removing shield cards will also make snipers die so easily against champs. We cannot nerf a class just because an undergeared player dies from a geared one. You cannot use that as an argument simply because you are not on equal footing. If you actually pit a fully geared prof against a fully geared sniper, the prof actually has the upper hand. Nerfing shields for sniper will make it obsolete.
  23. 1. Any ranged class will die very easily without shields, we found that out back then where there are literally 1-3 people who main snipers in the server then, all of them had thana(server do not have skolls then) so they compensate it with higher damage than most. But we also do not have that much customs then and they still pretty much die once you get close to them. With all our customs and all, the damage we had is so much higher now than before so removing shield cards for sniper is not viable as it would make the class very easy to kill, while all their skills gets shutdown by a simple pneuma or even the acc card that autocast pneuma. 2. We cannot do that for FAS, that is a skill edit and the server do not do skill edits unless it is very necessary, which in this case it is not. Also, I do not exactly see how FAS hits hard when it really does almost the same as every other skill in the server. The highest FAS I have seen that hit someone is around 40k+, and he probably hit an undergeared player. On my alternate character that uses vote and quest items, a normal FAS hits me around 34-36k, and the sniper is already on Ship captain hat then, so he is vulnerable to stone curse. I can even force to lower that more by using dual noxious cloak, reduce it even further when the assumptio from blue ifrit ring autocasts, reduce it a lot more further if I was using my fully geared biochemist. I am not even counting on armor switches, so that means the damage there can still be reduced if I catch what arrow element is he using. I don't even need to use pneuma then. You seem new, I suggest that you at least get the vote forsaken king set and legendary auras and weapon and decent cards before trying to pvp. You just encountered a normal geared sniper, what more if you encountered a fully geared champ.
  24. The laptop(more like notebook) i use to play fRO is more crappy than most. RO is a very, very old game, I used to play it when 512kb RAM is the thing. I doubt any low end pc will have that, it is usually 1gb or a minimum of 2gb. With that, just turning off all other apps and turning off effects should let you handle the lag(because mine does). If the GM team decides to let RCX in, it should be on their own. What I mean is the GM Team could decide to release a client(or full server files) with RCX that the GM team configured themselves, so that users will not configure it on their own. That way, only the core features of RCX is in, and any other features are out. People cannot also use RCX as an excuse when they do get caught using its other features.
  25. You are only thinking of WoE regarding buff timers when it can be used anywhere else. Just because they took the time to configure RCX to automate stuff then we should allow it? That has to be the worst argument regarding botting i have ever encountered. I don't want to create a loophole regarding botting and RCX if we do allow RCX. If it can be configured to automate auto buffing, it won't be hard to configure it to do other things. No matter how small the advantage is, it still gives one over people who do not use the said program. It still aids the player using it. Which basically is why we ban 3rd party programs.
