That might be the case, but I still do want to see it in his point of view. If it is indeed true that he can only spam 2 SBs and we see that his ping is high, at least we know the reason for it, and that would be something for the gamemasters to consider. It would be pretty easy to see if he would be lying about his ping and his spam the moment he shows the video anyway.

Please put up a video of your spam on SB to prove that you can only hit 2 constantly, then also put up your ping to the server. Because right now, we can't believe you can only hit 2 since we see/tested 3 sb spams normally. Lastly, your suggestion is to "bring back spam to the way it was". From my understanding, this will never happen, as it never happened to Desperado. There are tweaks here and there but it never came back to the way it was as that would pave way to 8x+ sb using 3rd party programs which is pretty pathetic.

Use both, but if you do not want to bother switching two items when you need to stave(you need to use voluspa and a 2x FBH shoes to stave) then just stick with voluspa. The decrease in bolt damage between the weapons is minimal in my opinion.

I quote myself to save time, this is my reply on that thread. Also, the bolt spam affects all users of the said skill, and that includes biochemists and their lvl 5 bolts. Comparing the damage: A normal lvl 10 bolt from a geared prof will hit(without the buffs like MB because few players use that) is on a 7-9k average. 10k on rare occasions. so that's a maximum of 90k-100k damage per instance. A sonic blow hits up to 8x, the normal damage is around 8-10k as well(with the buffs on because every sonic blow sinx uses them) however sonic blow can be chained together until 3x on average, or even 4 if stunlocked or lucky. So the damage per instance is higher than the bolts. 8k X 8 hits = 64k per SB X 3x SB chained together = 192k damage OR 64k X 4x SB chained together = 256k damage 10k x 8 hits = 80k per SB X 3x SB chained together = 240k damage OR 80k X 4x SB chained together = 320k damage. Not even comparable regarding damage. Also, they said that bolts are having at least .3-.5 delay, so just the spam is already not comparable.

Bolts do not "link together" like 3 spams of sonic blow. That's a huge difference. Are you really an idiot or what? Bolts send out separate damage per cast, unlike SB where you can link up to 3 and 4 of them and send out the damage in an instant.

I thought someone found another loophole. If that is the case, then I disagree with this suggestion. Thought it was the same case as stalkers back then.

Not to that extent erwin. I remember GMs saying that the reducts should not go to certain level, that's why they made the other items not stack.

I thought the reducts regarding all this items got nerfed back then when stalker sb has the reducts, seems like I am a bit mistaken To further improve this suggestion, I suggest that we limit the maximum demi-human reducts a character can have, not just on clown. It works well on those classes simply because of tarot, which still gives them enough to kill people. So my suggestion is not ONLY on clowns/gypsies but to everyone, so that no one will use just reducts items and be done with it.

^ the answer to this was given by shadi already. They just made it so that macros and BN do not work for SB. And also, before asking for other players' IGN, post yours so that we would know who you are.

Are you using the starter set given when you made the character? Those cannot be used above lvl 200 as it would lower stats.

At least we got an answer on why you wanted the suggestion. The point of the delays is to make it so that third party programs that aid in spam would not work. SB was one of the most abused by BN users. The delays were put so that third party programs would not work but legit players would not be affected. Why are you asking us the reason for the delays, it was written in the announcements. Please read, it would save time.

Way easier to just get the ring(if you had people to raid with). Although eidelics was good enough to at least raise my hp to 180k, i do not know how much it is now

Wizard highness is probably one of the rarest valks so i hope you still had that. And yeah, what we need is more HP for wiz. 180k max HP on eidelics is not funny.

Exactly my point, I use katar as a secondary option. My build is primarily called double dagger sinx, but that does not mean I go around using it everytime. Chainbreak suggested you use edge and shield as a SECONDARY option(even as a dagger sinx, I use that), I do not see why you are so against gear switching and wanted to maintain just using katar because that is just plain stupid. The reason why you rarely see SB SinX in pvp is because good ones are not too naive to stick to using ONLY SB in pvp. Different enemies and different situations call for different strategies. Why would a good sinx use only katar in a group situation where he would die instantly if someone hits him? Katar sinx became way too reliant on buffs that the moment they get dispelled they are good as dead, unlike before where a good sinx would just go switch to a different weapon and fight back. Nowadays, when a katar sinx is dispelled, they backslide the hell out, and log out. You wanted to put back something that was abused. That's the reason why I am against this. We are giving you tips on how to use your sinx well, and you never listened.

Wizards do not have a benefit over prof in any shape or form except on WoE where AoE shines a bit better, but then can still be easily shut off by a prof's skill. I disagree on making it on par with the wizard highness. You are only looking at the descriptions itself. While it does look like the wizard highness is better on paper, you have to look at it as a whole. Even with the wizard highness' hp boosts and all, wizard would still be below prof as a whole. Those hp increase mean not that much since wizard base hp is crap in the first place. Wizards also do not have the one spam kill potential that profs have due to double bolt. A good prof would not drop a bolt if he know he would get reflected, and in my experience, a reflected bolt to a wizard will instantly kill it due to the lack of hp(barely making it 180k most of the time, and that is on eidelic) so that isn't really a good comparison. The only time wizards look better is on woe when they already have stacked multiple meteors. I don't actually see the gap you are talking about between wizards and prof. If you pit them together in pvp, prof wins 80% of the time. That's why the wizard highness got boosted because prof's stave damage was actually better on voluspa then a wizard before, and stave was a skill of wiz. You just can't compare the two as wizard is way below prof in all honesty. If we make the highness the same on prof and wizard, the gap between them will get bigger, when it is already on prof's advantage. Comparing just the weapon descriptions is also misleading.

I've seen 3 sbs constantly actually even after the update. I've seen a few SBs after the update that is still better than most AV spam actually. Having no shield is no problem if the skill can be abused. No class would withstand more than 5-6 sonic blows, and before the update, I have seen people hit 8. How can you call that not OP? Even if you have no shield, if the enemy has absolutely no chance to fight back because they die within one spam, then you wouldn't even take damage. Just because you are called an SB sinx does not mean you should not change weapons. Double Dagger sinx normally uses a shield. You yourself are limiting the use of your own class. It's not our fault you do not want to change weapons and fit it to your situation. I use dagger sinx and i have a katar in inventory just in case I need to use SB. what's so hard about switching items anyway?

I do know that making a free forum is easy enough as we had done it when the guild forums are gone. But there will also come a time where some people will take advantage of that and try to scam people(we had it happen before) into thinking that my guild made another forum(aside from ours) and some people posed as me. I know that is just so low and some people would not have the time to do it, but it did happen one time to us. But I would rather have a private thread on the official FRO forums, that way people can be sure who really posts.

Most of the time, we used to use it for announcements and guild events which is kinda nice since it is indeed easier to make it organized compared to tons of people spamming chat or talking during skype/raidcalls. When they removed it back in 2008, we had to setup our own forums just for the things we used to do in the forums. Of course the guild forums would serve less purpose during real time events but at least it would be easier to organize stuff before the said events. My suggestion was not meant to replace the normal ways to communicate while playing.

If you would need more than 4 sbs to kill someone, something is wrong with your damage. We all know SB Sinxes buffs themselves with all things possible before even going to pvp so I don't see the need of more than 4 sbs honestly. I don't see why people would want something that can be easily abused back in the game. That's like asking to bring back capes and rings for SN.

There is none, however poison bottles drop from the sinx mob in lhz_dun03. I suggest using a priest and just warp and magnus exorcimus on the place.

Important: Changes To The Wiki And Guides

Quest guides can easily be done by one of the gamemasters since they know most of them so I do not think player input is needed there. It might become troublesome for the moderator of the wiki if TONS of people submit stuff that might just be trolling posts. For character build guides, I don't think those should be in the wiki though. We already have the classes sub-forums anyway. I suggest though that the gamemasters or admins read up some of the guides in there and Pin the guides that are worthy, so that we have few people asking the same questions over and over again. A large database is good. Instead of separating items regarding vote or quest or donation or events, just put a tag on the item that says what it is(vote,quest or donation or events) and make the database display all the items in a category at first, then have some kind of sort button in there so that the user can choose if he just want to see vote or quest items. The category of items should be on where they are worn(for equips, so the categories for that are upper, mid, lower, armor, weapon, shield, cloak, boots and accessories), then a category for cards(again, where they can be put), usable items, Tokens(and where they can be gotten so that we get fewer scam cases regarding this) and Quest items(primarily the ones that are from the raids). I could be missing stuff but that is the general idea i have. -
Sorry about last time, my internet is really crappy at the moment. Although now that I thought about it, I should have used a different bio and acted like a newbie. Aero and Danny kinda blew my cover. >.< Side note: I do see a few biochems in the guild so that was nice.

Back in 2007-2008, I remember a sub-forum where we have separate threads where guilds can communicate with their members. The way it works is that I remember a guild master applying through the ticket system for a guild forum, then if it gets an approval, they will get a guild forum here that has a password so that only members can go in. I think it would be fun to have this, at least it would make the guild recruitment threads shorter as the other guild members would not talk with each other in that thread. It would also be a good mean for the members to talk to each other without going in game. Of course we have tons of guilds nowadays and we probably can't give them all their own threads, so the way it could be done is that we set a criteria on who can apply for a guild forum.
