  1. Thanks for doing this.
  2. Just broadcast when you are on, and If I see it I'll help if I have extra seeds. :D
  3. As I said before, I am not entirely against the suggestion(I did suggest it back then). My main reason for not agreeing is that people will probably cry foul and call it OP if we get infinite bottles. Now I know this isn't a decent reason but we had a lot of stuff nerfed or changed simply because the community did not entirely like it. Second would be that bottles are the ONLY Zeny sink we have left aside from the passes. Inflation of zeny might become an issue(the word is might, although it probably won't matter much anyway). Third is that I still see the bottles are the only weaknesses of the biochems in terms of events. Unlike WS, we can freely use our carts to put supplies in, which gives us an advantage at that point. We might have lost the exclusiveness of increase weight limit, but at least we still have that. Fourth is that I have never really experienced running out of bottles as long as I pay attention, hence I do not find it entirely needed. But this is purely my opinion, and I do agree on some of the points Airi said above. We can probably just make a test run, make it infinite for a time period and see from there if anything changed at all.
  4. I believe we already suggested this, if not then +1. Basically those headgears are like the magic equivalent of Ship Captain; one slot and gives a boost so I think it is in order that they get immunity to freeze as well.
  5. Well I was waiting for you Airi to actually comment since you probably is one of the only biochemists I would like to give an opinion. We will always be in between regarding this suggestion(as evidence, I actually suggested it before myself, but settled with the reduction of the bottle prices). I was mostly looking on the non 1v1 situation. 1v1, infinite bottles are not something to be bothered about. Unless the biochemist is one of us(we are both hybrid), infinite bottles poses very little threat against the most common classes. VERY few biochemists even use cart revolution to push people off pneuma. group pvp or events, it's another story. Biochemists will never do any other role in those except being support. The infinite bottles will allow them to carry more seeds among other stuff. AD stunlock on those type of events would shine as a good support skill, especially if the bio has a decent partner to cover AD's only weakness at that point(pneuma). In short, any other place that does not have Storage will make unlimited AD OP, even with the existence of pneuma(cart revolution can easily remove that). To normal players, infinite AD is something a bit OP. A skill that stunlocks, breaks armor and has almost no cast delay, on paper it is OP if we made the bottles infinite, and that is not counting hybrids who have more STR than pure int ones. I am not sure about your stat build on hybrid but on mine I can carry a lot of seeds + bottles with almost no effort, and is using minimal STR (just enough to deal decent damage with mammonite). To players who pvp a lot and actually switch to auto pneuma instead of the deviling+gtb combo, infinite AD is not a problem, hell it seems weaker than bolts in terms of burst.
  6. Someone tried that to me, he died with less than 5 hits of thana mammonite, I even remember someone dying within 2 hits and I don't even have high STR nor am I using loki seals. I already hit 50k+ on someone using raydric. Anyone who still tries that would still die even if I just use incantation samurai card. While you are thinking you are smart on doing so, you just actually exploited yourself by switching to a gear setup that only counters 1 skill. And it also proves that if we make the bottles unlimited, you are left with one counter, which is rsx+dev+gr+gtb, and that opens you up dying easily against any elemental physical attacks.
  7. It's not a noob suggestion really, I suggested the same thing before(but that was way back in around 2010, so we do not have all the nice stuff we have now). To give you a perspective: Originally, the price of one bottle is 20k zeny. So for just once cast of AD, you need 40k zeny. Now multiply that by 600 casts(which is the normal I can carry on my bio's inventory) and you will need 24,000,000 zeny just to do around 5 mins of pvp. In a day, I would use 100m-200m, even more during WoE. With my suggestion in 2010, it was reduced to 10k. I came back around 2012, made another suggestion on it and they reduced the price to what it is now. You really cannot compare the price of it now. Since you claim that 1k of each bottle is just 760k now. If I buy 1k bottles each(2k bottles) with the original price, it would cost me 40,000,000.
  8. I main biochemist but I will -1. There are big differences of arrows and bottles for bios and this is why you cannot compare them. 1. Acid demonstration hits 10x while using 2x bottles(one of each). Snipers will run out of ammo faster than biochemists if we did not make their arrows unlimited. GS will run out faster as desperado uses a lot of bullets and will sometimes just hit 3x. Looking at it numerically and only counting on the stunlock properties of the skills, if we make the arrows/bullets not unlimited: It would only take a bio to use 2x bottles to get 10 hits, 5 arrows for snipers to get the same amount of hits(double strafe, 10 arrows if FAS), and will probably make GS run out of bullets before he can even hit a desperado that actually hit 10x in one cast. both classes(sniper and gs) do not have carts 2. Think of long term pvp where commands are not allowed(events like LMS or others). If my bottles are unlimited there, all I have to do is wait for someones FCP to run out, while I can happily spam acid demonstration to no end. Acid demonstration has the best stunlock in game imo(second would be spiral pierce) simply because it hits 10x and has almost no delay with 3x kiels. I can literally win ANY given fight if bottles are unlimited simply because I can spam them without thinking and wait for their FCP to run out(which is easy in events where commands are not allowed. ) 3. Make bottles unlimited, then make 2 bios duel each other. I'm telling you, that will never end especially if they fight somewhere with storage on. Making bottles unlimited will literally make one of the only weaknesses of biochemist class practically disappear. I dunno if you were pvping in pvp room when the said room dispels FCP upon entering. That will be the same thing if we made the bottles unlimited, it will just take longer since people will have to wait for FCP to end, but they can easily stunlock them in place for several minutes until FCP runs out, then it's game over. This will spell doom against melee characters since they will never be able to get close to the biochemist. Lastly, in my experience, I run out of my seeds(both on character and cart) way before I have to get bottles from my cart. I never ever ran out in a middle of a fight. This is taking into account of no commands setting like in events, because I only consider that as the benchmark of whether we will need unlimited bottles. Anyone can just get stuff in storage(melee people use converters at an alarming rate as well, especially valk randgris is easily obtainable).
  9. Actually most homun except lif are buggy. But you are really not missing anything. Most of the homuns are useless in a high-rate environment. I still prefer lif due to emergency escape.
  10. There's actually the answer there: You are an LK. Not every class has the same HP as LK. Of course you have a better fighting chance of living off with 400k hp than with 200k hp on most characters. Which means your suggestion here benefits your class, not everybody else. Let's look at it objectively: I hit on average on a decently geared character, using my decently geared prof, 8k-10k bolts. So let us translate that 80k damage per cast of lvl 10 bolt. Now bolts are pretty easy to spam, you can hit a few casts per second if you are on 3 kiels. Now, assuming that most classes have around 200k-250k hp, putting a 3 second delay would get them killed on the cooldown. one bolt could strip their hp with more than 1/3 and that is not counting double bolts. Another one to consider are champs. No decent player will die from one asura. So you suggest that they hit their skill every 3 seconds? And getting my acid demo 400-500 damage isn't actually a feat, everyone with devs can do that. And since when did I say that I will ONLY spam acid demo. If I remember correctly, only Airi and me is a hybrid. I don't now what kind of biochemists you fought though. I deal 1.8k-2k acid demo, 6-8k bolts and bios are a bit faster on the spam than the other magic classes. If they do go devs and/or raydric, my minimum mammonite 32k each, average around 45-50k, then sometimes hitting 70k+(because thana is trippy) and that is not counting if I catch them on dual devs + gtb(which someone tried before). An LK might live off with my damage with a 3 second cooldown on BERRIES(while everyone except champ is using seeds, if you use seeds I would have killed you on a cooldown.), but no other class except paladin would. It goes both ways to me, on a hybrid, my hp is around 220k at most. Lastly, if you all you've ever done is pvp, I should probably know your name, but I do only remember a few decent LKs(aka LKs that gave me problems).Did you ladder at all or you just pvp in fild?
  11. I find it amazing that you can actually spot someone getting hit by 5-8 people. I can't even see nor count how many people I spammed acid demonstration during WoE simply because it is a mess. Now on your issue, we can't point fingers like that. I can name a few breakers that are actually on a build that makes them hard to kill simply because they know how much damage they only need, hence they get higher hp. Also, some breakers who uses thana build have more survivability options than the crit ones. So I am asking, what type of breaker you think you saw? Also, are they not using a different card on their shoes? I broke once or twice on my sinx using a non-fbh shoe(dwiz is one card I used), Kyrie kept going off I was pretty much alive the whole WoE.
  12. That's a common misconception. The matk given by FBH and the increase in demi human damage are both separate. You can test it out yourself, use DS against a player without fbh then another while using fbh.
  13. Most of your suggestions have been suggested before so I am not gonna comment on all of them. The appreciation thread is not needed. It might look like we are pitting the GMs against each other and that won't be nice. As someone who pvps a lot, I will comment though on the cooldown for seeds/berries. It is not possible. Our damage is too high that even putting 1-3 seconds cooldown on them will ruin pvp. Autopots or just plain spamming, weight is a factor so they can only carry a limited amount of seeds. PVP room does not allow @commands so that works a lot better there, same with WoE. For normal pvping, who are we to enforce limits when they are pvping just for fun? We already did enforce no warps at for_fild01 anyway. If you don't believe, test the damage. If you find me in fild01(Yoko Kurama, biochemist), tell me that you are the one who made this suggestion. I'll spam on you, and try to live through it by using seeds only every 3 seconds. If you live through it for at least 30 seconds, I will consider your suggestion plausible.
  14. Bow Stalker. Reasons: 1. You say cheap. Bow Stalker can be decent with just the soaring bird and vote cape. Freyr's gaunts are not even needed, it is more of a luxury. 2. Average damage to high. A decent bow stalker can hit double strafe just as good as some snipers, probably a bit less but still good enough. 3. Versatile. Stalker can copy skills anyway, so if you want that surprise factor, then have fun. 4. Stalker HP is not that high, but has skills that can make him survive longer 5. Well I consider him noob friendly than sniper so there you go. For a guide, here is mine: http://www.forsaken-ro.net/forum/topic/25616-rayrays-bowdouble-strafe-stalker-guide/ just substitute the expensive items with the ones closest to it. Or just use the 3x tg valk randgris bow(and just get another bow when you do get thana along the way).
  15. Most of the cards there are fairly cheap, definitely cheaper than 3x kiels so I think you can get them. (of course this is not including thanatos) Phreeoni and Valk rand would probably give you a bit of a problem, but they aren't exactly necessary unless you play like me. Although getting dragoon warlord would be needed especially if you are still a bit undergeared, but as everyone is on FCP, it might be a wasted card slot. I would say save up on either phree or valk rand first. Phree if you absolutely have faced people that keeps on hiding on pneuma and you need to push them off with cart revolution, valk randgris if you constantly face people that have tons of buffs or face people that uses converters a lot. If you have ANY small form of reflect, getting stormy knight(even 4x stormy knight) is viable, and that card is cheap as hell. Even if you don't have some form of reflect, 4x stormy still helps especially if you keep in check who you can freeze(freeze people using acid terror). I would not suggest on buying another mace if you are having problems with tokens. Gearing up a biochemist from the ground up is easier than most people think. The only MVP card that you essentially and must have is kiel, and you have those. Others have tons of alternatives. Weapon Cards: 4x kingring would be good enough for normal pvping. But it wouldn't help much if you don't use 2x fbh in the first place, or if you do not have urds so keep that in mind. Would rather have the utility cards I mentioned. Boots- you don't need FBH if you are not gonna bolt people as much. And fbh just give a measly 20% matk(2 fbh) which can be gained by either foods or other stuff. Just use HP increasing cards for now. My tip would be keep on voting to get biochemist infernal cape ASAP. Don't rush on getting Blessed ring, it is a luxury. After getting cape, focus on getting urds. The last thing you would need is the valk weapon, as the legendary weapon is good enough(I won ladder using that weapon). In short, 2x Urds is your first luxury item as your bolts need damage and you need imp/siroma cards for that.
  16. Well if you have a wizard then you can just farm those items. But it would still be a bit faster to just farm seeds on a wiz, sell those then buy fcp tickets from other people. Especially if you are a bit new, as farming separate items can get boring fast.
  17. We had it before: I literally stayed there on biochemist for weeks. No one will fight. After dying once, they just do not come back. It is more of a ghost town than the regular pvp room. Sadly, we have to admit, other classes are fairly weak WITHOUT full gears, therefore very few people will enter that pvp room. Not opposed to the idea, however putting it back should not be the only thing to be put back. Putting exclusive pvp rewards that you can only get in legendary pvp room might work though.
  18. Well archbishops will not work much here, we have gtb. their dispel is annoying in group pvp though. Honestly, Genetic would be a bit OP here since we have firebolt on the weapons. And a guillotine cross will probably kill everyone with one skill with our customs.
  19. Those classes are very hard to balance in a high rate server. The only way to have them in fRO is if the server decides to make a low rate version with our custom items(toned down for low rate of course) which I do not see happening any time soon.
  20. as far as I remember, it will miss and it would still take a chunk out of your hp. Therefore, whenever I use matyr, I make sure that the enemy will die if I do use it.
  21. I won't discourage you to make a guide on how to test your breaking damage. I only oppose making an emp room anyway. Honestly, I never used abysmal knight card for breaking. I was never a full breaker, I only break on stalker when the need arises but I never used abysmal knight card. I myself was a bit skeptical before if it works and I can never bother to test as much as I did on my biochemist. So, in the end, I just removed it from my card setup and used the stuff that I can easily test with.
  22. Either you pay at the tokenshop or farm enough to buy them from players. The sense in that is to bridge players who cannot pay and those who can. If you have no time but have decent money that you can cash a few dollars, then good for you, you get stronger quicker. If you have no way to cash out, there are quest items close to it and you can farm a bit until you can buy the ones you need from other players. Takes time but at least you are not really forced to pay. While this is indeed a high rate, most of the things work here kinda a bit like mid-rate, especially the items. At least, unlike most high rates, we do not have donation exclusive items so that others will not just pay their way in. I played other high rates, imo they get boring fast because you get strong fast too. There was absolutely no sense of accomplishment. I dunno about you, but I like that in a game.
  23. Calm down people. Making guides is not a bad thing(hell I have tons of guides around). But the guides I made are mostly GENERAL information. Guides are not set in stone. So that's a big difference. People can choose whether they follow it or not. Help has limitations, that is indeed true to a certain point. My biochemist guide is out there, tons of people used it to make their bios. It happened a lot of times that a certain someone will actually challenge(well, randomly hit my biochemist) in fild without them knowing that it was me who made the guide. It was actually more funny when I heard them 5 minutes before that they are talking about my guide in the forums(one guy asked for stats, the one who hit said check the forums). They used my guide, probably built their character exactly how I put it in the guide, and yet I would still wipe the floor with them if I wanted too(and I did during that time, this was actually in @go 15, happened recently). Then they will probably go and say that my guide is wrong because they did not get the results I usually get when I play biochemist. The emp room imo is a bit pointless simply because it would probably teach them theory(what cards, stats etc) but not the how to use it. Add the fact that it is fairly easy to replicate the results you get on the emp in game already, and I would rather say that it is better not to waste resources on something that people will give up using after some time. Think about it, new people will use the emp room, and build their breakers. Then they go to WoE and fail at breaking(80% of them probably will fail). Most of them will probably quit breaker after that and never use the emp room again. It's the same thing on those people who just read the guides we made and never actually played long enough on the class.
  24. Just because you cannot join WoE in the present time, does not mean that the server needs to change it.
  25. Jail time is better, that way they have to stay in jail for a time before they get out. It would definitely be a punishment that would probably stop them from spamming because it will hinder them in a way(if they spam on a character with items on it etc)
