  1. Don't go overboard with the stats, it should mirror at least the other headgears available, and just offer cosmetic alternatives to them. We don't want to make the other headgears join the obsolete headgears we had before that now just sits in storage.
  2. While this will be more on the convenience side, creating an NPC for it requires much work, and I would rather see other suggestions be done before that NPC(if it does get approved). Gunslinger weapons, Delay Fixes, HP buff on the wizard and soul linker class and rebuff on some weapons should have higher priority atm. Not a bad suggestion, however there is already an easy way to get the skill(dual clienting). If and only if dual clienting is not allowed in the server, then your suggestion would have more merit.
  3. The people who wanted pvp enabled are mostly the ones who can't pvp well in either fild or pvp room. I actually don't know why they wanted @go 15, the map is so small imo. If two guilds decided to kill each other there(we used to have guild wars daily simply because they hate each other), the advantage will go to the one who is on the map first.
  4. No mob hits with matyr. sadly you have to get someone to matyr you, or dual client a paladin and hit yourself. When you get hit by matyr, what happens is that the buff skill itself will appear and you have to buff yourself(on your stalker). If you are using long ranged weapons, matyr will indeed be ranged. However, be wary, stalker hp isn't high and if your aspd is 195, just 5 hits of matyr will drop your hp near to 1/4. Be careful of using it against long range classes or you will die easily.
  5. Exactly why I opposed making @go 15 pvp enabled in the first place. But did anyone listen? Noooo, everyone was like "don't worry, it'll be fine". Now people complain. You want people not to warp out? Simple, DISABLE PVP AT @go15 again.
  6. I can all classes efficiently, except champion and clown/gypsy because of ping issues. But here are the ones I used the most. 1. Biochemist - Everybody knows I main this class ever since I came back nearly 3 years ago(I was on hiatus then). The reason is simple, I like the class ever since it was introduced in iRO, and I was a support then. When I came back to fRO, I noticed that there are almost 0 biochemist that actually does pvp(I only remember Airi,Jayjay(Amicable) and Enrique(Rusty Trombone), every biochemist you see is just an FCP buffer. So, I decided to main the class, learn all I can about it and see if it was weak or people just do not know how to use the class. Turns out, it was just that people really never bother to use the class so they do not know how to use it. I made a guide shortly after I became decent with Bio and the rest was history. Now at least I see a fair few people using the class. 2. Stalker - I always liked bow type characters in games, I like them the same as I like magic type characters. However, I am constantly bored at using Sniper, hence I just made Stalker my bow type character in fRO. And the added versatility of stalker is what sold me to it. 3. Wizard - Wizard is my very first RO character, so it was only natural it is my first in fRO too. I mainly use it for WoE.(believe it or not, I do everything else in Biochemist, farming, pvping and hunting for mvps but most guilds would rather need my wizard more than they need my bio). 4 SinX - I used SinX when my old guild Psychosamuraiz decided to disband and the people who helped me when I was a newbie quit(Date, Inamoto, Supre Onvi). If I would pvp with a few people together with me, I will use stalker or SinX. If I go solo, I had to go biochemist because I hate buffing myself just to pvp, and biochemist is self-sufficient in that aspect(SinX needs FCP at the very least). 5. Prof/Soul Linker/ Priest - I group this three together because they are my "if in the mood" kind of characters. I was never really good as a bolter prof, nor am I good as a bolter linker or holy light priest. Hence the three here I built on the fun factor side so they are not the usual(Melee prof using autocasts, reflect built linker, battle priest)
  7. Basically, reflect is taken as an attack. Therefore, those chance effects are triggered because your character is technically attacking them in melee. Therefore, those same cards do not work if reflect is not triggered and you are not attacking using melee(being hit by magic attacks or ranged attacks).
  8. Spear Type for an all rounder. Bowling Bash shines in WoE because there is no pushback, but you are only good there if you can actually kill the players you are hitting with Bowling Bash or you have a huge guild that there are others defending with you(wizard spamming meteor is a good ally). If you are however on just a slowing tactic in WoE, and you are with a gypsy and someone who might be spamming decrease agi, might as well use spear and spam vital strike and slow every breaker you see as that would be more helpful, especially during the end where everyone is trying to rush in.
  9. This is something that people can actually do in game already. They just have to test themselves. One of the reasons I oppose on making one room for testing is that there are other things that needs to be done first, since this one should not be a priority since you can replicate it in game by testing on monsters. Gunslingers need variety in their weapons, star gladiators needs to be reviewed, and Wizards and soul linkers need hp buffs,
  10. My only problem here is that the community is starting to become lazy. Everyone is just waiting for a guide to come up, instead of testing themselves. It is not that hard to test your damage. The laziness comes in when they do not want to do the math to get their exact damage, as the maximum damage that can be shown is around 32k. iPoor above already said it anyway, all they have to do is try it out.
  11. It's not lag exactly though. It just came to a point where people abused it so much that something had to be done.
  12. If you want a no teleport zone, fild is there. If we put this too in @go 15, people will just stop going in there and find somewhere else.
  13. The hp and sp boost from dragoon wizard stack, but the % of triggering the kyrie does not. Therefore if your build needs the kyrie to go off more frequently, you need amon ra+ dwiz. FBH and goldenring will stack, however with the way the damage works in RO, it would be better to have a different modifier in the weapon, thus people use TG or skeleton worker. Ideally, you only need to get 100% of demihuman increase and leave it, and dual fbhs does that already.
  14. As always, I would say no to an emp testing room, nor to the emp showing its hp. People think it would help new guys, but it really would not. For one thing, like what the other people said, who are more involved in breaking than I am, it would take out the fun in breaking. Everyone will be running the same damned thing, instead of having them testing every card there is and see if it works well in WoE. Like iPoor said above me, every information you need is out there, you just need research. The only thing that changed with our server's emperium is the HP, everything else is the same. I still do not get why people are still scrambling for more information about it when it is out there. There is no reason to make a separate room for breakers only to test since we have WoE every week, test it out there yourself. There are also some breaking guides out there that will point you in a right direction, without giving out every little detail about it. Those details are out there for you to discover. I made a comprehensive guide for biochemists. Even with all the info I put in there, I still leave out a few things that I know people will get once they play the class. With all the theory crafting I did on that guide for the hybrid stat build, did I ask for a "Biochemist testing room" where I can just have a dummy and put stats in it and see how will that play out on my damage? No, what I did is I hit everybody in for_fild when I was testing. There are a lot of numbers that I have to test before I land on a build(what matk would be needed against someone with high mdef, how much str would be needed to hit a minimum 20k mammonite, how much str and int can I squeeze in while having decent hp on a hybrid build etc) and that is on damage alone. And I had to test it against all classes, with different gear setups and stat build. The emperium only has one, it is really not that hard to test every WoE and come up with a build that works for you. Theory crafting on a build is fun for me, the same could be said for the breakers out there who kept on testing card builds and setups to see which works. Do not take the fun out of breaking for them.
  15. There are other classes that need more help than gunslingers atm. Gunslingers are just not as mindless to play like last time, where you go in, spam desperado and kill a bunch of people. They do need variety though, different weapons are needed.
  16. I see no use out of it really. Activity tokens are there as a bonus already. And we all know that if you are really serious in pvping or woe, there are only a few activity token headgears worth getting. This will not make me active one way or the other. While daily log in rewards works on most modern rpgs or even mobile rpgs, it doesn't work well in a game where farming for hours is needed. the events and stuff already is able to make players go online. I would of course want daily quests similar to most modern rpgs, however, it isn't ideal in an RO environment. RO is a grinding game to begin with. Introducing more quests that actually help in endgame is better than a measly daily reward where it would be pointless to get and will sit in your inventory once you get the item you want. The problem I see is that MOST quest items are only usable with legendary gears when we have vote sets easily available. In essence, legendary gears are just there UNTIL you get enough votes for vote sets. Sadly we only have one headgear for vote sets as well. If we had a headgear like ship captain hat that actually helps whatever gear you are using, and make that a quest item, this would be good. The other thing is that the Dragoon system we have. Almost none do that simply because there is no advantage at this moment. I know Genesis is planning on expanding it though, so we might have to wait for that. The Ring quests are actually good quests, except for the fact that it is too much farming. If we have quests that UPGRADES items we already have, in a similar fashion as the Ring quests, we will have more people going online. And of course having items that are actually account locked will make it more that people need to do the quests, instead of just buying it off people(which is what happened to the ring quest).
  17. Well for one thing, elemental arrows are already complete in the original RO. If we decided to make bullets with the same elements as all the arrows, we have to make them from scratch. 2nd thing is that in terms of skill damage(and skill damage alone, do not bring the aftercast delay thing here as that is not being discussed here), the GS class does not need the bullets as their damage is on par with snipers using ghost arrows. A sniper using legendary gears and stuff(basically, a decently geared sniper, but not full geared, legendary weapon and vote sets and vote cape + dex gaunts and normal cards) would hit a double strafe roughly 9k-14k each hit(average) using ghost arrows against a player using gr. A gunslinger with the same set can hit 10k-16k per hit of desperado(i've seen mine hit 17k actually) even without the said ghost bullets. The damage is there, hence I see it as not needed. I can basically just use earth elemental bullets and never care about switching bullets myself(unless i know enemy is using angeling) GS does not need new elemental bullets, what they need are new weapons imo.
  18. The only thing missing from soul linker is hp tho, star glads have a whole lot of problems.
  19. 1. HL priest only gets dispelled most of the time if a prof is present via dispel, and he can easily gtb on that the moment a prof shows up. Star Glads however gets dispelled when attacking someone with valk randgris. Huge difference if you ask me. And with star gladiator skill set, lack of weapon, lack of damaging skills and a bunch of useless kick skills, there isn't much you can do. 2. http://irowiki.org/wiki/Tumbling 3. Soul link on stalker is pretty much a luxury, it isn't needed to play the class. Comparing again to star gladiator, you are a sitting duck once union gets dispelled. If we get a valk weapon, it probably all wouldn't matter(except the running + FSK delay and loss of spurt status). But I don't see it happening any time soon, as star gladiator is hard to balance in terms of damage. And I seriously doubt they will make union castable without link too because that would be too OP. I'd pretty much rather have a consumable, at least that has a limit.
  20. That LTS. It's been a while since I have seen that hosted.
  21. Not really bad because when I started, vote points you gain per day is lower than that, since you can only vote every 24 hours then. Cmon guys, those items are free anyway.
  22. 1. You can't gtb against everyone. Most of the time I got dispelled, it is not from a sage, but from valk randgris. And I dispelled myself technically(enemy has friggs shield for that bit of reflect, has valk randgris on weapon. I attack, i get dispelled. Again, other classes can fight after getting dispelled, star gladiators cannot since union is removed. unless they have a thana, then that's the only time. 2. You must not have used star gladiators or taekwons. Tumbling only evades ranged and it is not an active, it is a toggled buff.. The only moment it evades melee is if the spurt status is active(hence I do not use the spurt status on my reflect soul linker). 3. Stalker soul link makes your stalker buffs not affected by dispel dude.
  23. Most of the MVPs here are buffed up. What class are you using to mvp anyway? Maya dies easily against a champ or a biochemist.
  24. Again, not the same as WS since WS can just recast his buffs, while an SG can not recast Union if he does not have soul link, which he cannot cast himself(unlike WS who can casts his own buffs). Another thing to add is that giving weapons to SG will lower their damage as they no longer get the bonus from Running and cannot cast the Spurt status (using running and using the skill again to stop running instantly to receive the buff). Not having the Spurt status will make Tumbling not dodge melee attacks(which kinda helps since Star Glads have crappy HP). While having a weapon might actually help on other things, it will actually give a bit of disadvantage unlike other classes, as SG does not play the same, while actually just giving SGs an item to cast soul link would solve most of their problems aside from their crappy hp and the delay on FSK and they can just resort to one of the 3 slotted elemental books when needed(like using thana for example). Other classes does not need soul link as much as SG does, most of them can fight without soul link atm, it is more of a luxury to them. The only class I can think of that needs soul link to pvp well is Holy Light Priest, but at least those priests are not affected by valk randgris dispel because they do not melee.
  25. There is a big difference between union and inca though, incant cannot be dispelled. As Star glads do not have valk weapons(and would actually lower their own damage if they do use a weapon), the soul link matter a lot as it is so easy to dispel and make a star glad useless. If the Union cannot be dispelled, I would agree to just make your own buffer, but that also means you are screwed in events. That is why having a consumable item that gives soul link is better, since it will just act like a converter.
