I do not see any reason why this shouldn't be accepted, next to the fact that it's hard to script, if not impossible. In fact I think it would be easier to include a npc in the script so people can talk to the npc and find out what dropped. (however I'm not sure if it's possible to log the treasure drops the way it's suggested in here)

As for the changes offered so far... I can agree on the trap HP (most definitely). Any suggestions on how many arrow shower hits it should be able to take ? I do not agree at all with the phasmatic arrow change, this would (almost) completely remove the use of pneuma and the people with the donation bow would become even stronger than they already are. Range strip 6 cells seems fine to me. I also agree on the ankle snare change , aka not being able to snap or backslide out of it. And if it means anything (probably not because Genesis already said elite weapons are not going to change) I still completely agree on making the elite bow 1 handed. However I'd like more input on all of the above suggestions. So far it seems like almost everyone agrees with all the suggestions. It would be good if some people that disagree with the suggestions would elaborate why they disagree.

The dispell effect does not work when using GTB. ONLY the dispell from the tarot card pierces the GTB effect.

Currently we have a few GMs that are unable to log on ( a lot ) due to certain circumstances. This does not mean we should just go and hire more event GMs again. We're trying to keep up as many events as possible as we currently host about 5-8 events a day averagely. To be that seems like a decent amount and I see no real need yet to hire more event GMs :O

I actually agree with this as I have experienced the third job skills as well, Not on a server environment like this one but I can already see where this is coming from. I personally haven't looked at any of the codes yet but from what I've seen in-game explained to me that I also think we should avoid these. At least for a very very long time, until things get balanced out according to our rates and until everything is released by eAthena.

Thing is, in order to get proper damage with AD you need int, in order to get good damage with mamo you need str. It would be nearly impossible to get a proper hybrid build as mamo isn't the strongest skill around, and AD isn't either. You'd need to focus on one of the skills and use the other as a side/secondary skill which won't bring out it's full potential. I think the weapon would be decent, yes. But surely not as good as most current donation weapons.

I can definitely understand both sides. And I think this is a good suggestion. HOWEVER I'm afraid we can't just afford to add them to an npc for a set price since it will decrease donations way too much, if not completely remove the income at all. Therefore I'll have to disagree with this suggestion. I guess the final decision has been made. We can't do this. At least not anytime soon. Perhaps suggest this again in a later stage. I can agree with all of the above suggested weapons, except for the creator one. It would be quite useless in my opinion.

I really like Nines examples of items for the newbie quest/start off. Also, I was personally thinking of making the forsaken dungeon quest a bit easier. Yes the quest is easy as it is, but it can take ages to achieve. For me I started enjoying the server more once I got the pass so I was able to hunt yggs and make some money by myself. However the process of creating the pass is plain boring and slow. So I think we should change that, despite the fact that many people have done the quest already.

I like the suggestions. However... When we add more annihilation events, we'll have to consider all time zones as well. It would be unfair if only US players would get more annihilation events, and EU players remain with the same amount. 22:00 Server time is 4 AM EU time. This is completely undo-able for european players, So other times should be initiated as well if you want it to happen more oftenly but still keeping it scheduled.

Seems like a lot of work for something useless to me , no offense :ohmy:

I think some , if not most of the suggestions given here require quite some scripting work. And since the need for such an NPC is not that huge, I think we have more important things to change/script first.

I don't see any reason to implement this. These topics are already allowed to be created in the assorted section and birthdays are already announced.

I do not really think this is necessary. Once someone finds out where the npcs are located they will remember that for the next time, or just ask around in town. 99% of the server knows where to find these npcs so there's plenty of people able to tell them. I think this will just be unnecessary script work. Life's easy enough as it is with everything in reach inside the main town.
