I really like the idea but there's a few things I'm really not sure about. 1: Gear restrictions : I understand we want to make this as "newbie-friendly" as possible. But restricting gears can also work counterproductive. For example a less geared person would only be able to survive asura while wearing a deviling card (just an example). This would mean he'd get instantly raped by FO because he cant switch to double immune or any other manteau. Now the more geared people could survive asura without the deviling card as they would only have a bigger advantage of the no gear switching thing. I think the 1 set thing with 2 shield could be worth a try though. 2: The asura/reflect thing. So if I get this correct. If in one of the fights the champ and the other person die at the same time they are both disqualified completely ?

I doubt it. Considering he can get to the character screen... that would mean that the server related connection files(sclientinfo mostly) are fine. However if he's using any files from a different server it could cause malfunction anywhere during the login process. Steps for him to follow : 1: Remove ANY files not FRO related. If you're not sure which files are related to FRO and which aren't delete your entire map and download the FRO full installer. 2: Download this file and unpack it into your RO folder. Overwrite all if it asks you to. 3: Run the patcher. 4: Run the game and try again.

If you can ping to the server, then you either messed up the sclientinfo some way. Or you are blocking your client with a firewall or anti virus. Weird thing is that you do get to your characters ? That would mean you have no access to the mapserver but you do have access to the character server o.o

I'm willing to test this with you :3. Cause I'm still frequently getting glitched within the collosseum arena (even though I don't pvp often anymore). Hence my concerns about the map setup. @warp is also disabled to and within the map so that's not the case either.

1 : The invisible walls. Possibly, seen it done before. Even though we'd have to be careful with the freedom of the arena (aka snap and highjump issues due to the walls) + possible bug spots like our current PvP arena has (Specially with arrow repel and smite, you can get stuck out of the arena or inside the wall atm). 2 : best out of 3 bracket is fine :3. 3 : Prices are fine as well. 4 : Just 1 gear set.. I'm not sure. Some classes will benefit from this way more than others.

Alright I just got home. I personally do not have any trouble connecting to the game server. You could indeed try resetting your router, make sure you have all updated files and make sure you're not using any files from other RO servers in your RO folder. Also please try this and tell me the results : 1 : Go to start -> Type in cmd. Press enter. 2 : A prompt box will show up. Type in : ping forsakenserver.net 3 : Tell me about the results. Any time outs ? full time outs ? high ms ?

Apparently more people are having connection issues so it might be server related. However I'm in college right now so I cant look into this myself, at least not until I'm home. Please update me if anything changes.

There's a difference between fuuma/huuma shuriken and the normal ones. Make sure you suggest the right one ( fuuma in my opinion , which is usually 2h but this one would be 1h ).

Okay and what weapon type would this weapon be ? Dagger ? fuuma shuriken (if so 1h or 2h ?) etc.

Good idea, but this wont help them vs gtb or anything. I'd prefer a trowing or final strike weapon for ninjas so broaden their playing style instead of just magic only.

I'm afraid there's no way to resolve this issue. If you haven't logged onto the account for a certain period of time, the character names turn to null. This so other players can use the names again. The only way to regain your names is by remaking your characters and hoping the names are still available. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Regards, Ryuk

Hmm in order of your suggestions : 1: Agreed. 2: Agreed if it's not too much work. 3: That would probably be a source edit, so it wont be done. 4: That would be nice. But they have to keep at least 1 bolt.

@feelreset does not work. It only resets the maps not the hatred targets. Also I 100% agree with this topic. Considering I've been the only SG around for quite a while and you pretty much need an account full of SG's to be complete xD;; This would improve SG and make it more fun to play.

I'd start out with the basics. When to use blinding mist, when not to. Keeping energy coat up at all times. for slightly more advanced tactiques you could explain the stone curse, web and firebolt combo. Things like that I assume =p.

I'm a bit too tired to go and compare it to the current class sets right now xD. And I'm really wondering if this is still neccesary. with the already excisting class sets you should be able to move into the right direction already. Not sure whether to agree or disagree. The stats and all are fine but I'm not sure if we need this.

Santa puppy is indeed 2 slotted. Also Emperium aura is also none-donation. So it can be added to the none donation gear set. Same goes for the scarf, It's voting so can be worn with the none donation set. Other than that, nice guide. Covers the basics.
