Closing this topic assuming a ticket has been made regarding this bug.

In order to fix this error please follow the following steps : 1 : Run the ForsakenRO patcher 2 : If you're already patched up delete your fpatch.inf and run the patcher. In case this does not work do the following : 1: Download the small patch(80mb) from the website. 2: Install this patch into your RO folder. 3: Run the patcher and let it patch. 4: Press start when it's done and have fun playing. Hmm, try doing a tracert right after a DC and you might be able to see which hop is causing the problems. :o.

I've had a char in town pretty much all day today, only once I saw several people D/Cing ( I didn't D/C once myself). This means it's definitely not the server. Also. When you D/C can you log back in right away or do you fail to connect a few times ?

If you reinstalled FRO completely and still error then you're not using the right files to install. If you're using an old full installer then download the small patch and install that into the same folder, then run the patcher. Also you can only patch once. Then it's fully patched and wont be able to patch any further until further updates. So updating multiple times seems unlikely.

In order for the tracert to be useful, we need the adresses of the hops, Not just the hop times.

Actually I see no reason why he's not allowed to edit them for his own use. As long as he doesn't "sell" the sprites or claim he made the entire sprite himself , then no harm can possibly be done.

Just run the ForsakenRO patcher located in your ForsakenRO folder and you should be fine ^^

25 to 30 people out of the 350 being online. It's quite unlikely that it is the actual game server cause it would kick pretty much everyone if that was the case not just a small group. Gotta wait for Genesis, he should be able to tell if any part of the server has been malfunctioning.

Actually hops are mostly ISP related. Nothing the server can do about those. But I'll see if there's anything else that could possibly cause these disconnects. However I can't check this myself so I'll have to wait for Genesis.
