I'm with you here, you could have worded your sentiments better though. We do need a valk/legendary book for profs, there are some of us who really like using battle prof too.

I am confused and really does not see the argument here. You stated that you wanted your stalker to get to the emp faster so you wanted back slide. This confused me since in all the times I used stalker to defend, I get in faster than most sinx. I even timed myself and my stalker goes to the emp faster than when I use my sinx. If that is your argument here, it just is a weak one or just wanted to cover up that you really want this for your sinx. I've even known guilds that their e-caller is a stalker, since he is fast enough to get in due to soul link. Also, you can now self cast soul link to yourself(since the oriental sword gives it) meaning you no longer need to dual client for it, and has no problems getting dispelled since you can easily get it back. In summary, stalkers don't need it nor are they hindered by backslide not being enabled, so where's the issue?(assuming of course that you really want it for your stalker, which is really weird to be honest).

If we ever come to the situation where we will try to switch to renewal, may I suggest a few things? 1. Make a full backup of the server. Make a date known to every player where you guys will make a "snapshot" of the whole state of the server. So there will be no outcry about rollbacks when #3 happens. 2. Try and switch to renewal and close the server during it. It will take time, I say a week or 2 to test bugs and stuff, even a month. Hire a few players that can login during these time to report bugs. Make it like a Closed Beta Test with select players. 3. If the testing fails(bugs that appeared are game breaking and cannot be fixed easily), abandon the switch to renewal and just restart the server using the data in the backup.

To summarize it: NOTHING affects AD damage aside from these things: Bio's INT, enemy's VIT, Jormungandr's Rage, Legendary BIo Mace, Bio Infernal Cape, Blessed Bio Ring.

I'm gonna go and guess that the servers with renewal GUI and no 3rd jobs did this: They switched to renewal client, but disabled the 3rd jobs(just disable any way to get them). That way, they do not have to code every single thing and just disabled one part that is the problem. The issue with this is that this is not easily done on a server that has been on for several years and does content patches every now and then(like our server does). It also does not help that our server is probably 80-90% customs(card effects and items). Personally, I don't see any worth on switching to it just to get hotkeys then get tons of bugs after. As always, I would rather have new content(updates on our custom storyline quests) and fix on some stuff(better pvp rewards) than getting hotkeys that we can customize. Remember, it took several years for Gravity to actually update RO to the renewal thing. And they are the developers.

Nerfing a class because someone cheats will not hurt the cheater but will hurt the legit ones. The issue was BB spam, not BN spam. The spiral spam seems off to me as well, however the complain(or this suggestion) was tackling BB spam, which sadly the video is not enough proof to warrant that since: 1. Sniper is against a wall and 2. As you said, the spam of the LK is already questionable. To warrant a nerf, the test should be done with legit players(or GMs can just test it). Since there is already a video(and hopefully someone has a longer version) then file a ticket and let them take care of that DIFFERENT issue. Also fighting LKs is hard since LK's have one of the highest hp and decent damage but LK builds are not that flexible as well. The issue stems up that everyone wants to 1v1 an LK when their class can't really do anything against an LK. It is possible to kill an LK easily especially if he spams like that, I saw someone kill himself since he spams so fast that my blue ifrit ring was throwing all the tarot cards it can do. Don't outdamage and outlive a class that spams fast and holds more seeds than you and has more hp than you. Cmon, doesn't sound good but fight dirty with coma, break armors, strip, hit and run and whatnots. A sniper is basically on the same power as LK, just with smaller hp but bigger range.

It comes down to preference actually. Stalkers here can copy transcend skills like a Paladin's Matyr's Reckoning so that is one to consider. I say the most balanced would be Double Strafe. 1. You invest stats on it like you would if you are going full strip, high dex, enough agi for 195 aspd, enough str for seeds then rest on vit. 2. You are not a sitting duck if your copied skill is dispelled. 3. You can copy a skill to compliment DS, or copy a skill for defensive purposes(flip tatami).

No, let us wait for all the other people that uses all classes. Of course other TKs will say it is not OP since it benefits them. I have to agree with the others. 2k missions seems too much. 1 taekwon mission is just 100 monsters, while it may seem long enough to do 2k missions, it is not impossible. 4k additional atk is up there with giving taekwons the EDP skill. Keep in mind that taekwons can change elements at will, even to ghost, dark and holy properties. I say cap should be around 500- 1k missions. Taekwon rankers will already get a massive boost in HP, it seems weird that we want to give them as much attack power as a sinx using dual weapons. SinX gets high attack power by sacrificing hp and the use of a shield, it is weird that a class that gets high hp should also get the same DPS as a sinx.

I say we first need to remove the rankers that are not on the game anymore. something along the lines of not logging in for 6 months to one year should be good.

This has nothing to do with the drop rate however. If we want newbies to farm on the seed room, just shutting down the pvp in it is fine. The drop rate is the only issue I have, as it will hurt the newbies more than us since they are the ones who wanted to farm seeds to sell them. the drop rate is fine as it is as it is not too low nor too high. Imagine new guys try to farm in the seed room with 100% drop rate : we will have more seeds around than we can consume, which will in turn decrease the price of it(which is very low already). It will turn into more farming for the new guys if that happens. Now they get a token every 500 seeds, which is easily farmed atm. But what if the price goes down a lot when we change the drop rate? The price of seeds can go down so much, just look at EDP tickets nowadays, back then I was able to make a living by just hunting those, now they just sit in my storage. -
I agree. The sniper seems to be following the trend of just using FAS and see if things die, which is sadly the norm of snipers atm.

We cannot consider this proof because the fact that BB will not be spammed fast if the enemy is NOT against a wall. Considering BB hits twice, that makes it seem that the spam was super fast, but I've seen Cart Termination spammed just the same. The damage is not that high also, the sniper can do MUCH more if he was using DS, and that is faster than BB and doesn't need the condition of cornering someone to a wall. If, however, the fight shown was actually against competent players(meaning the sniper is doing what he was intended to do, which is to fight at long range) then it would have been a better argument.

I'm confused on why a long ranged character stayed near a wall against an LK. Sadly, it is his fault for staying near a wall, people won't be able to spam BB on you if you get pushed back. Also, he tries to stick on using ship captain when the enemy is constantly using puppetring armor? It would have been better to switch to a GR armor, use f.soldier, and use VR card on weapon to constantly force the dispel which gives you time to do something. I didn't even see him try to cloak and move away from the wall, instead proceed to just spam. Lastly, if the sniper switched to a ring of resonance, he would have won that if he was a bit lucky with tarot(or it could at least have given him assump). He could also try to use strip cards but he can easily assume that the lk has FCP so this is not the best solution. Sorry to say but this is not a good proof to warrant a nerf.

Supplies affect the server way more than drop rate. You are making another wrong comparison. You cannot compare emps because they are cosmetics. People take into account how it looks, that's why the price is like that. I have given alot of suggestions on how to motivate people, and why motivate people to farming seeds anyway, it is a usable item only. People farm it when they need it or need to sell it. Adding more drop rate will not increase the number of people farming it, but it will increase the supply slowly in the long run. How to motivate people to stop being afk? Put emphasis on the pvp room by adding stuff in the rewards that are actually worth while. More people pvping= more seeds being used = demand gets higher = seeds supply is no longer the issue = more people will farm seeds since the demand is higher. -

Your argument is that berries are 100% drop and yet have the same price of seeds, therefore making seeds drop at 100% will not change its price. This is a flawed argument, simply because you are comparing two items that are way different in terms of supply. Berries at 5:1 is not equal to Seeds at 5:1. Berries are cheap in that sense, since the drop rate is definitely higher than seeds. People are not used to that actually, there used to be a time where berries are 3:1 or even 2:1, back then when seeds are not half the weight. When seeds are introduced with half weight, berries gets a cheaper price because few would buy it, in spite of it being easily farmed. 100% drop rate DOES NOT EQUAL to higher supply. In fact, I do believe that the supply of berries is lesser than the seeds overall, we just do not feel it since very few people use berries and very few people actually farm berries. Seeds used to be 3:1 and 4:1, it changed because supply was actually high simply because the demand for it is high. With the demand being high, more people farmed it and we got to the point that we have more seeds than we can use, hence it became 5:1. Even if the demand is very high, the supply simply is enough to warrant that price. Which is why I do not see any need to increase the drop rate, since our supply is already very high, adding more to it will simply make the price go lower at one point. TL;DR - 100% drop rate does not equal higher supply. Therefore, you cannot draw the conclusion that making seeds drop 100%(the same as berries) will not affect its price. You have to note that there are far lesser farmers of berries than seeds. -

Again, not the same thing as only champs and paladins gets the full benefit on using berries(much lesser on paladins actually). The reason berries are 5:1 is not related to it's drop rate, it is the fact that most of the time only champs will buy them, while the demand for seeds is much higher. If we go with your logic, then GR card should cost the same as TGK card since they have the same drop rate. -

Not exactly. Players will have a choice at one point, when they understand that 50% drop rate means it is easy enough to farm on their own. The reason players buy the seeds is because they can't be bothered to do it themselves. Now, a 50% drop rate means I can easily farm seeds in a short amount of time that I really wouldn't even think of buying it in the first place. You cannot compare it to rice dude. Not everyone can farm rice on their own, hence the prices for it is stable. Everyone, however, can farm seeds on their own in fRO. If the drop rate is high enough that people can just farm for a few minutes and get like a day worth of seeds, I don't think anyone would actually buy them, which makes the selling price go lower, which in turn will hurt the farmers. It will not be apparent at first, but it will be in the long run. Just look at the mvp cards. You claim to have played since 2007. What is the price of TG card then and now? It will be the same thing if we make the drop rate higher than it is now(when it is already high enough). -

PK off is ok, making the drop rate 50% is not, as it hurts the farmers more. the 50% drop gives someone like me ,who farms for my own use, a good thing, but that drop rate will make the price go even lower, so it would hurt the ones trying to gain tokens to gear up. -
That's a dead giveaway of something wrong going on. :)
