  1. sure, why not? don't really see any harm on it
  2. Off topic but I miss you posting in this forums. Good to see that you visit(unless you actually play on a new character).
  3. So here's a point of view of someone who played in the early times of the server and played in the recent times. We used to have MASSIVE pvp battles in the pvp room. It was during those times where the pvp room map is this huge rectangular map that is sort of dark(forgot the map name but you get the point). People will be in there, mostly one guild fighting a guild they hate and vice versa. And they are all in parties. We had fun then as well. Mainly because that is the only way a wizard or some other class that is not a sinx or champ to experience decent pvp(no valk weapons so yeah, most classes are useless in pvp). Come the recent times, every other class can pvp on his own. There actually is no need for the party system since everyone can actually hold his own now(provided they use the correct gear). Of course people are gonna complain about devotion, especially when there is storage. The party system is basically this server's own version of camping in FPS games, everyone hates it, except the ones who are actually doing it. Solution? Create 2 rooms, one with party and one without. Instead of just one guy winning in the party one, make it party based and let everyone gain pvp tokens. amount of prizes should be different for both rooms but make it so that they are competitive. If one yields way too many tokens than the other, the other one will be completely empty.
  4. Nas is correct on this one. Double attack makes you do 2x attack, but that attack can't crit. Therefore if you are on crit build and used a dagger, you would miss(due to the fact that crit sinx has no hit since crit ignores flee so there is no need for dex).
  5. Either that or just make a consumable item that gives you link.
  6. I remember the old times when ninja had to use a dagger for FS and one Reject sword from a stalker kills them off
  7. pretty sure none of the alchemist/biochemist skills are blocked by gtb.
  8. lol i thought i'm the only one who does this. Sadly it is indeed a bit harder to hit it but it is so funny when it does. Although a good old acid demo spam works way too easily on most ninjas i encountered nowadays, people using 2x tgk + gtb against bio for some reason
  9. WS should be your worst nightmare, not a bio really. I do see the point of cookie though with regards to the spam. Either reduce damage a bit or put some bit of delay and it should be decent to kill people, but not too op that you need to switch classes to fight one.
  10. I did, I was using Biochemist, also using amon ra + dwiz shoes so kyrie kept on popping up. Acid demonstration goes through cicada anyway. and he cant really cast flip tatami since he was trying to spam FS.
  11. Well I don't mind it, I think it is fine, but then again I mostly use classes that counter Ninjas directly(Bio and WS both can fight ninjas better than other classes) so I think I am a bit bias.
  12. Your title is misleading though, it should have been "buff the merchant oriental swords" or something to that. Well tbh, the jrage and thor's were actually made to REPLACE the old weapons. If the swords are to be buffed, what are your suggestions then?
  13. Let me tell you a story from way back in 2007-2008. Soul link for SinX then still gives 50% more damage to sonic blow. Everyone except paladin and LK dies on 1 sb. Seriously, If I remember correctly, I have been hitting like 20k sb per hit then without thana and the buff used is just Soul link, no WS buffs yet. It was so OP to the point that I NEVER WORE KIELS. I don't even need to spam. Hence the nerf to the soul link. Now at the issue at hand: We cannot make SB one hit or two hit kills, that's just absurd. Even if you gain 40% more damage or anything like that, sinx has backslide and cloak. Like in 2007, all they have to do is hit someone then backslide. It would be so annoying that when you see a sinx, you instantly switch characters to your wizard or any other aoe magic class simply because your favorite class will just die against a sinx. Even if you put that freeze thing, since sinx will be just hitting sbs and backsliding, i can just wear an evil druid + OL armor(which is one of my default in 2007 when i was trolling on sinx) and ill be fine. If I get hit by a champ, we go down together so it's not bad. so sorry, -1 for this. The damage is enough at the moment, I have seen people still killing with it. And it's not like sinx is a weak class altogether.
  14. Crit build also has the added feature of being able to fight other players when needed without needing to switch weapons on the main hand(when breaking), dex would need to switch around to be able to attack players if their original setup is for breaking. Crit build is way cheaper as well, without losing much dps against thana users. Only dagger users with thanatos can out dps a crit build in the end, but it takes time since their damage is not consistent.
  15. Well I actually think it won't. As I said, well not explicitly, I only wanted the change on the HP brewed pots. 1/4 hp healed is useless for people who uses autopots and the like since they will have to bring one more healing item for sp, meaning they will have issues on weight. I only wanted the hp stuff for the raids or pve content honestly, so that I won't burn my seed supply on those stuff. With almost everyone having 200sp due to dual fbh, people really won't stack those hp pots just to do autopots because it is stupid to do so.
  16. A decent whitesmith is actually a hard fight for a prof. He can just gtb and rush you in, and your stave will never reach the damage of CT. He can also use pneuma as well, so you are forced to use land protect.
  17. That's the part the OP does not like. Is there really no way to implement it?
  18. It does a bit. Loki's as offhand is my damaging weapon to help the main hand. Losing it makes me lose a significant amount of DPS(i tested it a lot). First of all, I've been using loki's as offhand SINCE IT CAME OUT, and that is like 2010 or 2011. SD builds only got the buff JUST RECENTLY. You are asking to make a change to a weapon while hindering other builds that uses it, when it already works as intended for both builds. That was my issue. You already put out the stats for loki's blade. You say I switch to using infernal dagger or others like hel right? the stats for infernal is: STR + 15, AGI + 15, VIT + 10, INT + 15, ATK + 5. Unbreakable. [black Oriental Dexterity Sword] STR + 10, VIT + 20, Max HP + 10% Increase damage to demihuman by 10%. [Loki’s Cursed Blade] Max HP + 10% Increase damage with Soul Destroyer by 50% Increase damage with Meteor Assault by 50% the stats of hel is Str + 8 Agi + 8 Dex + 8 Max SP + 15% Increase damage on demihumans by 5% Increase damage on Small sized monsters by 10% The difference on stats is big. hence I always have used Loki's as offhand when I needed to go full damage. The only way I would consider the infernal as my offhand to go to is when I use the dex sword myself. But not really gonna consider it as much as offhand on dagger if I wanted to go full damage(breaking etc). But fine. I'll give in since I am probably the only one who still uses dagger sinx to pvp. If it is that much important and you find it hard to switch mainhand weapons on sinx then so be it.
  19. I get the point, however your suggestion is making lokis blade only main hand so that you can easily switch between 2 lokis(which is the only possible way to code it in game), something I can't get on board of since it would hinder dagger sinx who uses the said weapons as offhand. Won't hurt to use another weapon for off hand? Sure, if there are other blades designed specifically to be offhand and gives the damage I get on loki's then I would agree. However, listening to that kinda pisses me off(no offense, I know you don't mean it). Because it sounds to me that you are telling me to adjust my build simply because you cannot switch main hand weapons that well. oh and fyi, I use daggers as off hand as well, I did not say I only use my loki's as offhand. I constantly switch around them, either to throw people off their seeding or use status effects/stripping. To make this all make sense: I don't really switch using hotkeys on dagger sinx, I leave my alt+e and alt+q open and switch on the fly. I was used to this so that may explain it.
  20. I use it as offhand as it gives more damage than the daggers while still allowing me to use double attack since I am using a dagger on the main hand. Seriously, the only thing you have to master on sinx is switching weapons and keeping your buffs up, especially if you are an auto attacking sinx.
  21. In all honesty, even if there is no penalty, stacking multiple cards of the same damage type will yield lower damage overall. Hence, the common knowledge of only using 2-3 of the same card still holds up.
  22. Yes. you gain pts by forging and crafting potions.
  23. But that focuses on PVP and raids, as you need to gain pts through the dragon fury system instead of the rankings.
  24. I got this idea when I thought about Taekwon rankers. They get a boost if they are in the top 10 right? What if we give the other ones that uses the ranking system some boosts as well, namely the two merchant classes, WS and Bio? For WS, the original effect of the rankings(through forging) is that a weapon made by a ranking WS gets +10 Mastery ATK. Now, obviously we cannot use it since this is a high rate and no one will use a WS made weapon here. For alchemists, a brewed potion by a ranked alchemist gets 50% potency, meaning it heals more. That is useless in a high rate setting since the heal is already low, and this does not affect pitching skills. So I have a suggestion for both. 1. WS rank: Either give the ones on the rank a bit of an increase in attack on the character that is on the WS ranks. Not too high of course, just enough to make the rankings competitive. 2. Make a ranked brewed potion heal alot more. Obviously it shouldn't replace seeds/berries. So I was thinking that a ranked brewed potion be able to heal around 1/4 of full hp. I maybe one of the few, but I like crafting in MMOs. I even farm on my biochemist instead of my wizard. This would let me, and some of the alchemists that are rather playing support to have some pve fun.
  25. Thana is random. one moment I was hitting 40k mammonites, then 50k, then 60k then 30k. And the one I am hitting didn't change gears. I normally think of it that it at least does double the damage i normally do against someone until they use skolls. That gives me an approximate, however, as we told you, it is not that accurate.
