Masterneil you have to update by running our ForsakenRO patcher. Else you will get errors from the new headgears and possibly other objects too. Also, the [2] on the emp was a display bug which was fixed. It showed 2 slots on the emp while there of course is only 1 slot. So now it shows 1 slot accordingly.

Why do I have to be at work on times like these ? :( Can't wait to get in-game and check out the new town and changes! :)

Did you install the game through our Full installer ? If not, I highly recommend you using that.

If you're fighting an MvP with ghost element make sure you use a converter too ! :3.

If your asura misses that means the monster is ghost property. You will have to use an elemental converter on your weapon to be able to hit them with your other skills , keep in mind that asura and occult impact will always remain the neutral property. So vs ghost you'll have to use a converter + finger offensive for example. Also make sure you have enough HIT to actually hit the target ! Phreeoni cards should help with that if you don't want to stack up on dex :). If you're gonna go with a priest make sure the priest brings holy waters. Aspersio gives you holy element on your weapon!

I personally use firefox as well. never had issues with it. Though I always use a download accelerator too. Redownloading all and re-installing might work. Maybe something just corrupted your download but I still think it's an combination of the screen setup (setup.exe) and windows user rights <- Hence why you should be running the client not the patcher and try running the client in both administrator mode and none administrator mode. Also.. when you change things at the setup.exe make sure you load the game through the FkenRO client NOT the patcher. I very much hope you've been doing that xD;

Makes no sense since there's no difference on those kind of maps. Open your setup.exe. What does it show at the top bar ?

Do you have this on multiple maps or just one ? Are you using mouse freedom or not ? Does your sound continue working when the screen is black or not ?

This is gonna sound weird but try it anyway as I've only seen this problem once before. 1: log in if the map is black close your client. 2: open setup.exe set your client to fullscreen. Open your client. Log in. 3: it will probably still be black. Log out again. 4:change the settings back to none full screen and log in. This might bring your client back to none-blackness however it's only a temp. solution. Also this might sound silly but, make sure you're not zoomed out too far and dont try to change the camera angle with shift and right click.

If you're running the client in administrator mode, then try running it normally. Or if you're currently running it normally, try running it in administrator mode.

Open your setup.exe and change the option called "use lightmap" see if that changes anything.

Try updating your direct X and graphic card drivers. Also is it only your RO client that gets effected by this or are there more things happening to your PC at the same time ? Do you have this with other games as well ?

The download page shows that by downloading the all in one you will not have to download ragray and renewal. You could call ragray and renewal the newer versions of kro/sakray as they basically work the same way just with a single .grf file. The small patch is only if you have ragray and renewal already installed.

ThePast is correct. When you collect an item from a monster it is 'unindentified' meaning your character does not yet know what kind of weapon it is and can therefore not use it. In order to use it you have to use an item called 'magnifier' to identify the item. You can buy magnifiers at any tool dealer!

As ThePast said, you should be downloading the all-in-one. Sakray has not been used for a very very long time, it's extremely outdated already. Please download our all in one and it should solve this error.
