Quests and voting are great ways to get great gear. Quests might take some effort, you can't expect to get everything for free :).

Unfortunately this command can bug out npcs and potentially form risk of duping, not to mention that this command (unless adding a rather large cooldown) can be abused in PvP as well. I personally see no 'necessity' to add this.

Here's my thoughts on the suggestion and the things discussed in this topic: RCX, allthough a very useful tool in the past used to reduce lag on low-end computers has grown out to a program with many options that allow unfair advantages over players not using RCX therefore I disagree with this suggestion. However I do agree with Sensation that a possible seperate .grf and client with minimized skill effects could offer a solution to possible lag problems people are having. That way you still reduce the lag, are still able to see the crucial skills and don't have a way of gaining unfair advantages over other people. As for the harmony suggestion. I personally advise against using Harmony for many reasons. The only way to truly remove the advantages of such third party programs is by server-side changes. People will always find ways around security measures and gain the advantage again. However server-side changes such as delay changes can not be evaded in any way. This is why I personally prefer the server-side changes over paying for a very unoptimized security system that in the end will not be able to keep cheaters from cheating.

We've recently switched to opensetup.exe. However our client is not fully functional with the lua default that opensetup.exe applies. In order for your setup changes to apply you have to select the reg option in opensetup.exe. It's located at the bottom left of the application. After you did that change the setup settings to whichever you prefer and save them like you normally would. This should stop your client from automatically closing. It does this because no screen configuration is set up yet. If this does not work, repeat the same steps but run the opensetup.exe as administrator.

I think you're actually in-game while that happens have you tried pressing shift + right click and dragging your mouse? You might just be fewing all sprites stretched out. If that doesn't work try typing /lightmap and press enter. If above doesn't work please post a screenshot of your current opensetup.exe here.

After that open setup.exe in administrator mode and apply your changes again. After this try launching the game. If this does not work attempt to launch and apply changes to setup.exe in compatibility mode and launch the client in the same compatibility mode. Make sure you do not select a resolution higher than your own screen resolution. Also if you're windows 8 I'd recommend not running in full screen mode.

Have you set up your opensetup.exe settings?

I'm afraid not, you had to show us your entry in there within the time limit. without your entry actually entering the event you can't have a chance on winning

If you are sure you tried running opensetup.exe in both administrator mode and compatilibity mode then proceed to the download or upload your opensetup.log so I can take a look at that one. Our client might be having some trouble with the sanity checks opensetup does. Since you have trouble with the other upload I'll upload it to another site. As for your own issue, you should make a ticket and supply us your username and IP adres. If you still can't log in right now we'll have to rule out that your IP isn't banned from our side. When it's not then it's probably your ISP.

This is already discussed and fixed in the troubleshooting guide. It's the same solution as the client closing instantly.

All you needed to do is upload a screenshot and show it to Genesis so he could exchange it for you. I didn't know that uploading a screenshot was as hard as going to the moon. However, I'll close this topic on your request.

If you'd read my comment, I said I disagree on giving token rewards to people that report bugs, cause that's what you were suggesting here. I do agree that if it's disabled for champions to prevent issues that it should be added to the description. Genesis has given you instructions on what to do so we can help you. Please follow those instructions.

I completely disagree. Players shouldn't need rewards to want a bug to be fixed. Reporting bugs is for the well-being of the server, not for selfish profit making. If you're unable to equip it on the champion class only, that means we have prevented a bug from being abused with that item. Depending on some sprite and act files some moving sprites either work well or they don't in combination with fury/asura strike. This is why certain items are not applicable on the champion class at this very moment.

In my opinion it's very clear whenever something is going on with the server. 1: Whenever we do an update that requires the server to go down (which doesn't happen a lot cause almost all changes and patches can be applied while keeping it up) we make sure we announce it up ahead. 2: Whenever our host is having issues it'll either be posted at the announcement section or/and at the shoutbox. 3: When our host is having a general maintenance it doesn't always have to effect our server stability. When it does, point 2 applies. Today we were dealing with massive DDoS attacks, this is not something you can schedule in any way. It's a malicious attack that simply attempts to make the server unstable. When something like this happens and it has a large effect on the servers' stability we notify everyone above the chatbox and at the announcement section, just like today. Edit: Closing this topic as we already have announcements regarding the server's status at all times and I don't want the trashtalking in here to get even further out of control.

Just enable autoloot before you fight an mvp, it's that easy. I see absolutely no reason to remove the bot check off mvp kills other than wanting to botfarm mvps.

You'll have to unequip the starter set you get. this set will give large bonusses until level 200. But remove stats/effects once 200+.
