The only thing you'll have to patch is the ForsakenRO patcher. The others you won't have to update.

Can you give me the error message that you're getting?

Try running the setup.exe in administrator mode. However if you still can't select your resolution then you probably have wrong drivers installed though x.x or windows is rejecting the setup.exe from reading the neccesary information.

Install DirectX and update your graphic card drivers.

Announcement I'm not sure if we can help you in any way but please make a ticket regarding this and explain in as much detail what and how it happened. Chatlogs/screenshots etc. As stated in the announcement we will NEVER ask for you to pay money, almost all scam tricks are explained in the above linked announcement. Try getting a screenshot of the bot, and send it to us through the ticket system. You can also @request in-game if you suspect there's a bot on a certain map or if you suspect a certain user/character to be a bot. Any online GM will be able to look into it :) I'm assuming this answers your question so I'll be closing this and marking it as solved. We've used paypal before but it didn't quite work out for us. As far as I know Paypal will not return as a payment option. The way it is now we have plenty ways to donate and if there's suggestions for other payment methods I'm sure we will consider them.

Did you install our game through our full installer?

It's probably not his computer being ancient but it might be his GPU/DirectX or drivers screwing up somehow, or in fact might not be using his main GPU at all. RO is quite a lightweight game considering it's this old so I'll rule out the insufficient specs for now. I'd recommend changing the option sephwin changed in the above post as well. This will tell the game which GPU/drivers to use for the game. I still find this a weird problem though, and one I've never seen before. Specially cause it's at every mob and player. I'm aware of the hallucination effect some monsters can give which causes the client to lag because the RO client itself can't handle it. But other than the hallucination effect, Ragnarok Online can run alright on a pentium II so it's weird that you're lagging during any battle on your current computer. I'm assuming you got a higher version than DirectX 8.1 as well. Which is the minimum requirement for RO.

As far as I know this is not possible. The songs you hear as BGM (100% certain) and from these skills(Almost certain :P) are client sided. Not server sided. For example right now we could have a file called poemofbragi.mp3. We delete this file. Then we place our own song in the folder like Lovethewayyoulie.mp3 and rename the lovethewayyoulie.mp3 to poemofbragi.mp3. You will then hear love the way you lie, instead of poem of bragi. However since these files are directly loading from your folder, you will be the only one hearing the different song. Others will still hear poem of bragi , unless they all change the file as well.

Try typing /effect and see if that results in any less lag.

Delete fpatch.inf and re-run your patcher. Or try the manual patch here int he support section,

Reset the looks of all your characters. Log back in and re-equip your items. This should solve all your current errors if you downloaded the game through our latest all-in-one installer :)

So what exactly is the reason for making this topic? Genesis is the one that deals with the donations. Give it some time maybe it is delayed. If it does not go through your money would be back on your account. Keep us updated through the emails you send or a ticket. This does not belong in the support section. -Closed-

Once you've send the email it usually takes 1 up to 2 days before the items are added to your account. If you do not receive the items within this time period, feel free to make a ticket :)

I definitely agree with adding it as an event reward. :3

Check the reviewed suggestions before creating your own. This has very recently been declined. It would make things a lot easier for bots if we enable things like this. That's one of the reasons why we're not planning on adding this.
