  1. ^ I beg to disagree, CT hits huge damage that it wouldn't get you to use it so much just to kill people. and power thrust lasts a long time, and you got throw tomahawk too. Bios spend around 1.4k zeny for each cast of AD(2 bottles). if the enemy had FCP or rsx, that's like throwing 1.4k zeny for each 10-20k damage. Add the expensiveness of FCP and people thinking we are all fcp bots in forfild that they ask every bio for fcp, and I use mammonite which costs 1k zeny per cast.
  2. Why do you guys want to make my class stronger than it is? It just becomes a lazy way of having boxes instead of having to buy the bottles themselves. Bios can carry A LOT of seeds and bottles already. Again, no need to babysit the class when it was already good enough. I don't see a reason of having the boxes when it weighs the same as having the bottles itself, so if that is what you are suggesting, then it is kinda pointless. It just makes you not go every now and then to the mall, which in my view is laziness.
  3. I am one of the most well known Biochemist in this server. I suggested the Unlimited Acid Bottles before, when I didn't know much better. Now that I mained it for quite sometime and probably still is one of the best biochems around even though I am not as active as I used to, I will disagree with this suggestion. First off, the price for the bottles has been reduced significantly. I can get a lot of bottles with just 10m zeny(and that is easy to farm, just a few stone of sages and you are good to go). With the price so low, I can even say it is almost unlimited. all you have to do is buy alot, put them in storage/cart and you are good to go. Second, having limited bottles is one of the weaknesses a biochemist has. Give them unlimited bottles, they can just spam it until enemy ran out of fcp. 3rd, the weight limit of biochems. Biochemists has an innate Increase weight limit and Cart. The limited bottles are there so that the bio has to carry a lot(thus sacrificing a little weight). If the bottles were unlimited, my biochemist can easily carry 600 seeds(im on hybrid) on the bio alone, not counting the cart yet. Seem too OP if you think about it, in a pvp room OR LMS event. that advantage is huge. TL;DR: NO to unlimited bottles. We don't need to spoon feed and baby sit the new biochemists. They should learn to use the class better.

    ^ i kinda know that frame stuff, the mechanic I mean there was the one that was supposed to be illegal now. My concern was, we should not lower the delay for it so much that multiple bursts of 3x AV or more can be chained.
  5. One thing that can also be done is using a headgear that enables sight(observer and 3d glasses). and just switch around when needing it.
  6. I think it stacks with Knight shield? not sure I haven't tested since I never made that stupid hat to begin with. Although I agree that without freeze protection, this will go down the drain against a biochemist/champ/matyr paladin. So with that in mind... S> Garm card pm me.

    I can spam fine without using "that mechanic of clowns" Brian mentioned here. Although I have to do this: Spam AV 3x >> use attention concentrate >> walk >> spam again. All that does is kinda cancel some frames to make you spam a little bit faster. However, I will disagree if you want to spam Arrow Vulcan continuously and endlessly. And as clowns are like champs that are kinda ping related class(if you got a really, REALLY good ping, you can spam AV with little problems) I don't really know what we can do to it.
  8. No it doesn't, only kiels affect acid bomb speed. HOWEVER, aspd affects the cast animation of bolts, having 195 aspd reduces the animation thus enabling you to spam faster. So if you play a bio, you got no choice but to get 195 aspd.
  9. It's better if you can use all those skills. However, hybrid requires expensive stuff. It is not for ND gears(Knight set, int gaunts, scarfs, legendary mace). I have a guide in the strategy guides section of the forums, you should have checked there first.
  10. It depends on the routes of the ISP, but mostly yes, if that is what is shown in your trace route. Ironically, that is fast but still depends on how fast the routers you see in there respond to your request. I have 12-13 hops before i reach the server, but my ping is on an average of 200 ms. It still depends on how well the ISP routes it.
  11. In simple terms, yes, trace route is basically tracing the route from your PC to the server itself. Sometimes it can be the ISPs fault on why there are several "hops" to get to the server itself. It mostly depends on the ISP and how they set up the routes. which sometimes cause connectivity problems
  12. how about your trace route(tracert) information? just tell me how many IP it shows(or how many hops).
  13. well, consider our custom stuff if we just make esma autocast. We have 195 aspd, +40 stat acc that comes with a slot( so, owl baron card comes in mind), custom soul linker cape/ring and custom staff and custom card that strip shield. Then, let us add the reducts gears like skull aura/myth aura and sacred wings or eidelic wings. I played Battle Prof, and I can honestly say that autocasting esma on soul linker while attacking will be too strong in the right hands and gears.
  14. There are really few people that used soul linkers(I am one of them) but my input is not as good as Aki's since he pretty much geared his soul linker well. So with that in mind, I will give some input. ES skills were too strong, and modifying them to hit players requires source edits, which doesn't sound too good since it will be harder to implement. The main problem here is the Esma skill honestly. As you can enchant it with any element using mild wind, it poses a significant one shot power. Sure, gtb blocks it and such but if we want to make them usable, it will go through tons of testing to actually reduce the damage that will not make it too strong. The only problem on soul linker was the HP, honestly.

  16. Please post specs of your current PC. Im using mostly a netbook with a built in GPU and one intel core slightly stronger than a pentium 4 but still a little weaker than a dual core cpu and I don't lag unless I turn on effects and see 5 gunslingers and 2 wizards spamming their skills like hell. And this one is already around 5 years old with me. Did you check what other stuff MIGHT be using your connection when you play?(Antivirus updates, Windows Updates, Browser updates, torrents etc). Also check for viruses and other stuff that might use CPU usage and network. also post your ping to the server(Open command prompt>type ping forsakenserver.net), and if possible.do the trace route to the server so I can see how you connect to the server.(command prompt> type tracert forsakenserver.net)

  18. It seriously depends on your skill as a player and your gears. Some people do good on using just DS, the others FAS. The others also can use both of the skills depending on the situation. Although if you don't have freyr gaunts and ifrit cards, going FAS would be hard since you have to use more stats to get crit. But FAS damage is good against any enemy(mostly). DS sometimes needs Thanatos card to be effective, and by then you have to keep switching around weapons if your thana bow dont work much. I honestly can't compare the 2 skills, both are great skills to begin with, and snipers do great damage overall. If you make an FAS sniper fight against a DS sniper, the one who will win is the one who utilizes sniper's other skills.

  20. must have been changed ever since I tested. If that is the case, then +1. No reason buffing the skill if the spam is slow.
  21. I myself do not think it is because of the cast delays. We did some testing for it, if you use a katar for soul breaker, the spam is as fast as CT(using 3 kiels). To eliminate the chance that kitty claws' delay decrease playing a part on the spam rate, I used normal npc bought katars. It spams fast on 3 kiels. However, any dagger or blade, or combinations available for them (dagger and blade, dual blades, dual dagger dagger and shield, or blade and shield) would make soul breaker spam so slow that it isn't worth the bonus damage given by the weapons(loki's blade and the new dagger) for the skill, even on 3 kiels(I even tried with expert rings and such). I believe it has to be fixed internally, but I can't be sure.

  23. Bishop already pointed it out that making the weapon 2 handed or severely lowering the hp of the LK that uses it makes the weapon null, when it was supposed to be for survival. we have to think of a better way to make it not OP

  25. ^ FYI, wrath and opposition works even if you are not in the map you set the perception to. The Anger of the sun,moon and stars(Wrath) do not need a specific map for it to work, all it needs is that you are hitting one of the said targets. The taekwon skill that add % damage PER party member helps too. And my SG can break using elite weapon/ 3 slotted book, gloom, fbh and NO NEED for LK card when I used it.. So the taekwon class do not need super buffs on the weapon, but I do agree on giving them a weapon. so far what you suggest is this Star Gladiator Valk Weap[2] Type: Weapon Class: Book Required Lvl: 150 Attack: 120 Weapon Lvl: 4 Slot: 2 Applicable Jobs : Star Gladiator Str+ 12 Dex+ 5 Vit+ 8 MaxHP+ 5% Adds 5% chance of increasing ATK by 50 for 4 seconds. Increases physical attack against Small monsters by 5%. Adds 5% chance of casting Lvl 7 Improve Concentration. Indestructible. [Refine Rate 9~10] Adds 2% chance of bypassing the defense of Holy Properties for 2 seconds. The bypassing of holy property is useless, if you are using shadow property already. the 5% chance of casting lvl 7 improve concentration is stupid if you are relying on that for the hit. 5% chance of increasing attack should just be increase attack instead of a chance, it's just 50 anyway. and why make it 2 slot when all valks are 4 slotted. I actually see that weapon(for breaking, since I am assuming that it will only be used for that since the stats you gave has no relevance to pvping on SG) as not suitable.
