  1. No, Star Gladiators' damage is on par or even more than sinx because of his skills. Even more when you do it for breaking. I'll review the stats on the weapon once I am on a decent pc, and edit this post then. But it has to be not too much since if built right, SGs damage is fine.

    actually, any skill that gets triggered by normal attack is triggered by melee reflect, that is the reason I considered Skull Aura as the best overall aura ever, and that is also the reason why I strongly advice using valk randgris and stormy knight card on my bio guide. :p
  3. Well seek and destroy mostly last minute break in WoE then as far as I remember, and only they do it against Influence once Scientology destroys their defense. They might be an old guild, but I never considered them to be in that tier of guilds that are good. I mean, even in PvP, with the few members of our guild then, which is PsychoSamuraiz, we slap them around in anthell.

    add the fact that the dispel works against melee characters without you attacking if you have any form of melee reflect(as reflect is considered an attack and thus triggering the dispel).
  6. Yeah I actually would agree with the endure instead of the assump. Reduce damage all you want, but if the WS can't get near, it is still useless. The problem with this as well is that I remember a GM saying in one thread before that the Thor's and other "new" valk weapons were supposed to be the "replacement" for the first ones. Just like creator oriental vs Jormungandr Rage. But i do agree that the old valks should be a little bit upgraded. Kinda like how clowns can use the bow and the guitar whenever the situation presents itself.
  7. ^ that was something I noticed as well. If we ALL go to one castle, the emp HP is nothing actually. We might have to test stuff but I do think the Euro WoE's EMP should be a tad higher to achieve the same results we get from the other WoE's. Emp HP is not too high. There are 10+ that are sinx breakers in any guild, probably more than that as well. If they are geared enough, breaking is easy. Add the Star Gladiators(sadly only Theo uses it to break since people hate to change) and we got Stalkers that can break as well(Wabsi is one, Zai did before but he is mostly inactive). The strategy of going all in with 21361961954915 breakers at last minute isn't working as well as it did before, that's why people complain. Why not break a little early and DEFEND your castle instead of going for last minute? Last woe I went to, few guilds use classes that can defend(wizards, gunslingers, grand cross paladins etc), tons of new guilds are primarily devo pallys and sinx. Invest more on defenders and strategy, not get tons of breakers and complain about the emp hp if you can't get last hit.
  8. ^ But there is always the option of having auto-pneuma cards against that, so I can see why the auto assump might not appeal to everyone. and at our aspd, 10% is high for the assumptio to be triggered. In a fight, that basically means ALWAYS having assumptio.

  11. It's easy to strip them/coma them too. But yes a mammonite with an element will do decent damage against gtb+ dual devs even with just incant.
  12. PUT. BETTER. PVP. REWARDS. - that should solve the emptiness of the pvp room.
  13. GR+ RSX, 2x Noxious should do the trick. 2x deviling will work + GTB since most are int type, it's just that it won't work on Airi or Me. Auto Pneuma cards work too.
  14. Rule of the thumb when to know an enemy will have a negative defense if they used skolls: They are wearing Rings and is not using Super Baby class. Overall, good guide. :D Although Stave and Bolt types are essentially the same, just switching gears, you might not want to separate them.
  15. My comment was meant for people/guilds that only have sinx in their line of breakers and thus have to rely on last minute breaking to get the castle. And I beg to disagree, a geared Star Gladiator with a full party on the same map and breaking gears/cards can outdamage a SinX, while not being as squishy as a sinx with dual weapons. Alternately, A Stalker with breaking gears and copied Raging Trifecta would deal great damage while still being ranged. My point is, stop relying ONLY on sinx and last minute break with the Emp HP as high as that.
  16. ^ this is incorrect. Ghost property ammunition hits more against ghost property armors, neutral hits less against ghost. @topic starter. This topic has been suggested multiple times and the answer is always HELL NO. My gunslinger using incant on a legendary gun using legendary fire bullets already can hit 12k-14k per hit of desperado. Even more when using thana, around 22-28k at times/ If I had ghost property ammunition, double that damage and that is roughly what will my damage will be. Desperado hits 3-5 normally, even more sometimes. There is no point buffing up the class. TL;DR Gunslingers do not need to have ghost ammo. The reason is simply because they can already hit as hard as a sniper that uses immaterial arrows just using normal elemental bullet.
  17. ^ That was the point of upgrading the HP of the emp, to eliminate that stupid last minute breaking. It isn't a strategy, it only works since the emp hp before was so low that any sinx can break it within a few seconds. There are OTHER classes that can break the emp effectively, stop relying on sinxes and you guys will see that the HP ain't really that high.
  18. ^ didn't I cover that on my guide? O_O On 1 vs 1 situations, having a full int build will have certain disadvantages. Mostly, you can kill them BEFORE they slap on gtb and deviling if you started with your bolts. If they do put in that stuff(WHICH PEOPLE RARELY DO), you can go ahead and try to strip if possible. On team battles, no one can afford going gtb deviling anyway, so you are covered there. And for the record, Enrique(Rusty Trombone) uses a Full int build close to what I put on that guide(since writing that guide involved a lot of his inputs as well) and he does fine against gr+rsx + gtb + 2x deviling. I even saw him win against an LK that used that setup. It isn't impossible, although as we both say, damage isn't always the answer. You just got to have something to counter your class's weaknesses.
  19. I believe you need both the rings since the red cast asura, while the other cast the zen fury(if i am not mistaken, i can't be sure as i havent used them in a long time.). In any case, DD sinx shouldn't rely on ifrit rings, that's more like a Dex Sword thing.

    I actually am liking the Valk randgris card instead of the skel worker. That way you dont get penalized on size difference. :) and the dispel helps a lot.

  23. ^ invest on breakers that are not melee like sinx a.k.a. triple blow stalkers to counter safety wall at least? The new emp HP isn't even out a full month yet. Give it a little time for the guilds to start making new strategies first.
  24. We are just too used to the emp breaking every now and then. Now that it doesn't, we have to switch our strategies more. The emp hp isn't too much, especially on euro where we only have one castle. Look at the bright side. Defending a castle is now worth it since the HP of the emp is high enough that you aren't gonna get rushed in, guilds can setup their defense better. Less Breaks = Better Econ = Better chance for drops Look at it at the other side. I'm tired of seeing everyone at Payon castle at the last 2 minutes of WoE. At least now that wouldn't happen. Organize better defense and strategy, choose your breakers wisely, send them to where you know they can break the castle within one go. Defend a castle once you got it, use wizards and gypsies to slow the breakers and thus ensuring you get the castle longer. invest in trappers, Get a team solely there to kill of breakers, invest in a few Priests to heal the emp and safety wall it, put gunslingers and GC pallies somewhere to defend the entrance to the emp. Change the gear on your breakers so that they last longer and not just go frenzy + dual gloom and get the castle. Use Star Gladiators and Stalkers to break as well. And stop relying on Emergency Calling your whole guild at the last minute and expect to get the castle.
  25. It depends, I would file a ticket for it and see if they can do anything. Nothing wrong with switching the weapons anyway if it is done through the same quest so I don't see a problem at it.
