I would not have been able to explain it better than him. I followed Shane in Elith, so I know what he is saying is true. Having the emp room will only give one thing to breakers : a gauge of their damage. It cannot fully simulate what WoE is, hence it will just produce breakers that go rush during the last minute using one card setup. I myself would actually have fun with that(i seen like a couple of breakers go in woe with dual glooms as default. I am a biochemist, go figure what happened). I don't want a WoE that had a guild comprised of only breakers, believe me, that happened way back in 2007(if anyone remembers Search And Destroy guild). That guild is comprised solely of SinX. and when they pvp, they only use one build, which is SB build(which is big back then, since soul link gives 50% damage). They got castles(who wouldn't with a full guild of sinx). We implement this, people find out what card combos work, they share it and they all make sinx and make one guild. After that, this emp room will not be used again, much like some of our old quests and sadly, even pvp room.

Rich enough = have both to switch to not so rich= urds first then pump str so you carry more seeds. also, i prefer using owl baron than str runes

Yeah i was talking about command prompt since I was usually using text editors like sublime text or vim and the terminal on linux when programming. And there are times when i have to program ruby and/or ruby on rails on a windows machine which really gives me headaches since i was so used with linux. Add the fact that some rubygems really do not work on windows. Hell, when I am using windows for some reason(like when my client hates me), I miss a lot of things i could do on my linux terminal(and the fun stuff you can add on it). Lastly, the worst thing I heard from a client before : "Please make this website work PERFECTLY on Internet Explorer". I swear I was on the verge of just making a page with a big ass warning sign "If you are using IE, click this" and it will redirect to Firefox download page. >.< That's enough ranting about windows for me i guess.

^ Check the pics, it doesn't seem to work for me. It is saying the common photobucket error where the image is gone or moved. I have never seen microsoft screw things up besides allowing easy access to regedit and that annoying thing they did on using backslash instead of forward slash like every *nix system. That shit plagued me for years as a programmer.

RO is generally a party-based pvp setup, no class can kill every class. With that said, I do not really want to encourage 1v1 as a form of "official" pvp setup. Gangs occur normally, that has to be expected. It already was not as bad as before when parties were allowed and the pvp room does not dispel 2x/MB when going in.

some people have to be careful on touching stuff in regedit though. You guys know how sensitive Windows is(which is why I so hate it, honestly if I can play natively on linux, i would throw away all microsoft stuff i have)

Well, if you think that emp breaking is mostly on luck, then it would make no difference having the emp room now would it? Again, I am not seriously against the idea of having an emp room, I just know there are far more important things to do than make an emp room. So I find it a waste of time for the GMs to do when a lot have been breaking the emp for years with no problem. I just can't understand why this became an issue now. If this is indeed accepted, I will predict that the same people that breaks constantly now will still be the one breaking at that point, you people will just give them a tool to actually confirm their theories on breaking. Then we probably will get another suggestion regarding breaking again.

Just because other servers have them, does not mean it is the best idea. I used to break on bow stalker and used to break on sinx as well, what's your point then? Took me a while to get what I should do on either character depending on situation since I rarely WoE even back then as a breaker(as I prefer supports like wizards, biochem and trap sniper), should not take you long enough to figure it out if you worked for it a bit since you main sinx.

Ghost would be really the best element for a new player, but I myself rather use l.sacred if slot and hp isn't the issue for your class.

It won't affect the popularity of sacreds for most players since half of the people that actually had decent gears(hence can pvp ladder well) do not really vote. Aesthetically, the sacreds are indeed better than the fluffies, which makes it an obvious choice to people who can get it. I argue though that why would a PvP reward wing be the same as vote wing? That defeats the purpose of the term "PvP Reward". I laddered before the sacreds were slotted, and I personally laddered just for the heck of it(i still have the tokens in my storage) and not for the Sacreds. The PvP room is actually still a bit empty despite of the sacreds being buffed, due to the fact that there is still a big difference between the wings and the rings. Adding a slot to the fluffies will kill the pvp room in the long run. Sure, we have some people in it now, but we do know that the sacreds are still behind the capes and rings. If I was a bit new here, I would not go to the pvp room to get a wing I can get for laddering. I will go vote for the fluffies, and work my way for a ring. The only ones that will do ladder are the ones who basically have most of the stuff already, hence they are just collecting. This will not revamp the pvp room as I personally wanted it(like back in the 07-09 where we literally have guilds clashing in the room).

I really do not think it would help. Emp room only helps one specific type, which is the breakers, be it sinx or any other breaking class we rarely see. It would just encourage people to create their own guild, use their own breakers and do solo breaking. Creating one more castle for one more woe would have been more helpful to get people to participate in it. Likewise, anyone who wanted the emp room, I personally see them as a bit lazy and wanted to be spoon fed. It goes both ways. And if the emp room does not exactly accurately determine the dps, then what is its use? To have a gauge on what your damage is? If that is the case, there are a lot of mobs in RO that could do that. Why waste a bit of time and effort on the part of the GMs to make a map and script for a practice emp room? If you participated in WoE for thousands of times and still do not know what cards to use on different occasions, you are doing something wrong.

@topic starter: You cannot say the old generation of breakers have passed, I assume you have no idea how good they are since you think that breaking a lot means you are that good. there are a lot of decent breakers nowadays, however, ranking them is a bit hard as almost no guild do a decent defense to even test the breakers. I am bias, so my vote will still go to the old breakers of the old Influence, and the breakers of Elith(Shane, Charlie, Brax), and also Fia :p

Seriously remove the chat boxes in city. We have the broadcaster if you want to sell stuff anyway, i haven't even put up a chat there to sell stuff since it is a slow process(not everyone uses fcity as their main town, I for one use @go 13).

Adding slot to fluffy makes pvp ladder pointless. Why the hell would i waste time, tokens and effort to pvp just for a pretty wing when I can just vote? I know, it looks good, but cmon, it is a pvp reward for god sakes, make it better than most stuff you can get for free.

I remember the balloons to be kinda like a replacement for the original rucksacks. We cannot always say to buff the old stuff just because we have it sitting around in storage. I am conflicted on this, I gotta be honest, I have TONS of rucksacks sitting around. Seriously, and Jay(Amicable) had more. But buffing them up just because a legendary quest for balloons came out is just weird. Also, it has been a long time since we used the rucksacks. Hell, I stopped using rucksacks when fluffy wings and scarves came out.
