You guys did it again! I am very thankful for the daily quest as I am a big fan of quests and like the idea of having something to do everyday. And the new colors are awesome. This may seem like a small update but it is nice to see that you guys are doing something even if it is really just aesthetics. Good job! :D

Some people like the town pvp maps. Although I agree that allowing storage and res in there, along with parties are a bit too much, we have for_fild01 for that. Maybe we do not need to remove the town pvp maps, just do not make the kills in there count for the pvp ladder. That way, people who want to ladder will use the big square one we have, while those who do not want to use fild01 or just want to test something will use the town maps.

I wanna bring the good old days. Let's use the entrance of anthell01 again, we used to have epic guild fights in there, sometimes I was even saved by a spawning egg :D

I used to run a full asura champ for mvping and just switch the weapon when against players. I never hit 10k. Probably hit around 140k-180k minimum on people that didn't switch to their raydrics fast enough, i had shit hp though since it was mostly for mvping.

Emp is still the best all around aura.

It was done to try and protect newbies as I remember it. Although I miss the times where people kill each other in there.

My old guild before were technically "hired guns" by other guilds that lack members. What we only do is defend and kill anyone that is not the guild that hired us. This should do good practice for members.

1. Not necessary but can help if you have 2x tao armor. 290k+ hp sometimes isn't enough to live through a buffed up sonic blow sinx even if you are spamming seeds. Also, it helps when you are ganged. 2. FBH shoes isn't necessary as well, it is just there to increase your matk without using too much INT. If you get 12k minimum matk without FBH, that would do. However, a more offensive biochemist can reach 15-18k matk(using fbh shoes and foods) and would translate to 9k-10k+ bolts depending on enemy. Those kind of biochemists have slightly lower HPs(around 200k+) and mostly kill using bolts. I default kyrie shoes on Int biochemist because a 5k-8k bolt should do me well enough.

Not enough to warrant the use eidelic on bio while losing all the stats that the ring gives. I basically gain 20k+ hp on eidelic, and people still hit like a truck on me. It just ain't worth it on most classes. But yeah, I do would want the wings to be widespread first.

If its for breaking, the soul linked chasewalk should be used rather than the lvl 3 cloak which slows you down.

It is expensive. It probably is the only class I used that needs 2- 3 sets of accessories(one for the strip, one for the bolts, the last for the defensive ones) + ifrit rings. Thana is almost always needed or you will be doing 2-3k attacks(getting to 6k when they go gtb). And even with all the expensive stuff in, you will still deal less damage than a pure bolter prof. The only good thing is that you will outlast a battle more than a pure bolter prof if played right. It is pretty much a defensive build.

^ I tried with skull aura and mythical, it is only effective on classes that already has high HP to begin with(pallies, LK, SinX and SN), and defensive classes with buffs for it(priest and support profs) since those really do not need the ring and can take advantage of the HP boost and damage reduction. Classes with subpar hp cannot take advantage of the damage reduction it gives because the hp boost is not that high, therefore lowering the damage by a bit will not help as much as you would think. Like I said on my example, it is too big of a risk for a bio to lose heavens drive and the stats that came with the rings to just get 20k HP, additional 7% damage reducts(which does not translate as much), and 20% movement speed(which a bio does not need due to urgent escape)

They can break, but mostly to support. Most people will use ship captain and trifecta to break, they also get soul link to run super fast in castle. There is a headgear in votes that gives you double attack using any weapon so add that with a bow, thana and copied trifecta and you would probably deal a lot of fast damage.

You need to be at around melee range for strip to work.

It does, it has been one of my flagship skills to copy(after flip tatami). The trick I do is, I cast matyr first(to get the buff), then proceed to DS people. The matyr damage will not trigger with skills, so you keep having it until you actually auto attack. This also ignores your arrow element, so you can basically have one arrow(not advisable, but I am lazy so I just default immaterial). The moment my ds goes super low, meaning they removed gr, I auto attack( i hold the mouse button, having auto attack by just one click sometimes disturbs my DS). You can do that, or just simply go strip and matyr. This however, requires you to always keep your HP in check, since matyr will most probably leave you with 1/4 or less hp if it does the 5 hits

Well, I could be wrong. But I specifically remember that the "ignore defense" part of Aura Blade only applies to the +100 attack it gives.

You can remove incant and just use 2x tg, 2x skel worker or replace one skel worker with valk randgris, most people are on skolls that makes their def low enough. Also, this card setup allows you to copy matyr's reckoning and not change weapons. DS them with immaterial arrows and the moment your damage gets low, kill them with matyr(cast matyr before fighting, it will only trigger when you auto attack)

Please read what I wrote before you claim I oppose the separation of the market place. This cannot start with the GM team, there is no way to police the marketplace besides stationing a GM in there, and we all know they have their own jobs/lives. It should start with the players making their rules regarding the marketplace. A lot of things in game started with the players, not the GMs. Leeching for a fee, and giving salaries during for WoE started with the players. You will not see a rule regarding it that was stated by a GM. The GM team normally do not get in the way of the gameplay nor the economy. Again, on the off topic regarding IT: There is specialization regarding fields for a reason. Sure, anyone in the IT field can code, but would you give a programming job to someone who does not specialize in it? I for one will not get a programming project that involves games since I devoted myself on web development. Sure, I can learn and make them, but that would need time, and it would have wasted a lot of money when you could have just hired a game developer. It's not about being close minded, it's about being practical. I'll give an example on how I work. I code the backend of a web application(Databases, Authentication, Business Logic, Integration Tests etc.), and I have partner who does the the frontend(HAML,CSS, a bit of JavaScript, AJAX, CoffeeScript etc). I can do what she does but she is so much better at it, and vice versa. If for some reason I decide to just do the project alone and do everything, I would have to devote a few weeks on just the frontend, while she would have done it in a few days. It would take much longer to do since I have to focus on two things, instead of doing one. If I take your argument regarding this, would you take medical advice from a Dentist regarding heart problems? They both are medical professionals.

Any GM that feels to correct me regarding my statement, please do so. As far as I know, any 3rd Party software that is not endorsed by fRO is basically illegal. This does not limit to botting software, but to almost anything. The only ones that I know that are not banned here are macros that came with gaming gear. Everything else, in my memory, are not allowed. So your suggestion to qperteplex is not gonna work. The messiness of the market place is indeed the players' fault. We cannot expect a GM to check the market place and warn everyone that is not in the correct place(if we take your suggestion). With that said, it should start with the players. There are a lot of unspoken and unoffical rules in fRO that everyone follows. If someone starts a trend that they will only sell this items on a specific place, everyone else will follow soon enough. Off topic though: Just because he said he graduated IT, that does not mean he can "make his own software" for that specific problem. I find this really absurd that people think that everyone who graduated IT can write software out of anything. Information Technology is a broad topic, and have several branches you can specialize in. You can't tell a network engineer to write an AI, nor can you tell a web developer to make a project using Robotics.

A good ninja will use hide+shadow leap then recast cicada before he gets cornered. If long range attacks, you guys have flip tatami. Only a whitesmith will have an easy time against ninjas on a wide map or a biochemist if you guys forget to use flip tatami.

If you actually used the wings and switch it to your rings you will know that the difference in HP increase is mostly minimal on most classes that have low base HP. On biochemist for example, it is not worth getting 10-15k HP increase from eidelic and losing AD damage increase, Stat increases, and the use of heavens drive. For that matter, it cannot be even called a "defensive" item for bios since you lose a skill you mostly need for defending against cloakers(Heaven's drive). Most rings have +Vit stat increase in them, mostly with that and a small increase in HP from the rings will give nearly, if not more, the same hp that the 30% increase the eidelic gives. That's why if you had the ring for a specific class, you will rarely use the eidelic wing for it. A lot of classes need their class specific rings to be effective. Those who do not necessarily need them, Eidelic wings are godly. LK for example makes great use of the wing.
