  1. Okay since the death of the GS Guardian ring, I think it now has room for improvements as a supporting killer class. Right now the Ring only has 420%(Blaze it) to Tracking and its cast time has been increased by 25%, adding the new rifle to it, it reduces max HP by 15% and the GS receives 10% more damage from Demi-humans, the only buff the weapon gives is that it reduces cast time by 15%. So if my math is correct, cast time increased would only be 10%. Thats still a set back for the GS Guardian. (not that I'm complaining) Damage wise, I can deal 100k - 200k or less(depending on weapon build or opponents armor) per 3 seconds on phen card/2 seconds on 2 berzebub cards. Piercing shot feels kind of useless even if it was increased by 300% as it only deals around 20k - 25k fixed damage So im gonna list a few possible suggestions that would make the class viable again Increase the damage for Tracking on the Nari's Harbinger by just a bit more so that players will purchase the rifle instead of using valis Add "Skill casting can not be interrupted" to weapon Increase the % damage of piercing shot so it has a secondary skill other than Tracking. Add Enlarge Weight Limit to the Nari's Harbinger since we need seeds to survive The point of this suggestion is NOT so I can make GS guardian a 1 shot kill again, but to make it USEFUL in team fights and so that it can be playable in 1 on 1 fights Thank you very much for reading, and please offer your much appreciated opinion on the matter.

So I've been busy coming up with new viable weapons for Gunslinger and thought: "Why not use all the available GS weapons?" and this is what I've come up with for the past few months of agonizing and thinking, I have come to share with you all "possible" ideas for Gunslingers in the future. Let me know what you guys think. Personally I don't see them as OP cause I did think of the possible things you guys might say later on and say that its OP or what xDD It has its downs/disadvantages to it which makes them "balanced" already. But because these weapons are very unique to the Gunslinger class, I'd say it has potential to be viable in team fights and it should be capable of standing on its own as a Gunslinger specialist. So without further ado, I introduce you to: Einmyria's Ashes(Grenade Launcher) Vit+30 Dex+25 Max HP+30% SP+100(to be tested) Reduces all skill's after cast delay by 10% Ground Drift does xxxx% damage Grenades do specific effect when stepped on depending on element (Max of 4-6 for each grenade for tactical placements and trapping/delay) Spheres(Ammo) (Ammo for grenade launcher is different and uses spheres and not bullets. Please take note) L.Fire/Blast Sphere (Damage) Attack: 100 1 Massive Explosion max of 3 can be laid at a time L.Water/Freeze Sphere (Support) Attack: 100 Waterlogged Slow effect similar to Hidden Water L.Poison/Sticky Poison Sphere (Support) Attack: 100 Causes Poison and Slow when stepped on(Similar to slow grace) L.Blind/Sleep Sphere (Support) Attack: 100 Causes Blind(10%) Blind status lasts 7 seconds(similar to blind effect on star gladiator skill shadow) or Causes Sleep status(10%) for 2 seconds L.Earth/Stone Sphere (Support) Attack: 100 Causes Stone Curse(10%) when stepped on (Cannot bypass Fsold card) L.Lightning/Paralysis Sphere (Support) Attack: 100 Causes Paralyze(5%) for 4 seconds when stepped on Side Note: -Quest for L.Spheres similar to L. Bullets -Can go along with Guardian Ring or curse ring -Please test if it is still possible to bypass status ailments on high vit. If not then I'll add a second option. -Only has one main damaging grenade/sphere -Support grenades may or may not deal damage. depending on the GM xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Baldr's Rage(Gattling Gun) HP+30% Vit+20 Dex+25 Luk+25 Agi+30 Critical rate+30(Crit Type)(Cannot crit on player) or HP+30% Vit+20 Dex+30 Agi+30(Thana Type)(Best Option) Allows use of level 10 Enlarge Weight Limit Increase damage on demihumans by xxx% Aspd-10 Unbreakable Enchant Deadly Poison buff is active when equipped, and removed when unequipped Walk speed -15% when equipped(Decrease Agi/Slow Grace speed) Side note: -The reason why EDP buff should be active on this is because normal damage has no damage multiplier. -This weapon can go 2 ways, either crit type or thana based attacks.(Please test if crit is viable on long ranged) -Can go along with Bless Ring -Gattling gun has no active skills in Gunslinger skill tree which makes normal attacks its only weapon Thanks for taking the time reading my suggestion. I've put in a lot of hardwork into thinking of the balances for these two weapons. Stats, Buffs and Effects weren't easy to think of. INTRODUCTION TO GUNSLINGER Gunslingers are flashy and confident New Age warriors that rely on a wide array of guns and powerful skills to deal as much damage as possible in a short amount of time to their enemies. Gunslingers are always looking for a chance to show off their talent. Bored with only target practice in smoggy Einbroch, gunslingers have decided to take up adventuring, like so many from the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom, in order to live a life of excitement and fame. (Source: iRO Wiki) There are 3 types of Gunslingers in the server: Cursed Gunslingers focuses on mid to close range combat using the skill Desperado dealing high multiple damage in an area. Blessed Gunslingers focuses on ranged attacks using the skill Full Buster dealing high single target bursts to a monster or player. Guardian Gunslingers focuses on the skill Tracking which has a lengthy cast time but deals powerful bursts of damage almost as strong as an asura, at the cost of low HP and vulnerability. Cursed Gunslinger Build (Desperado) -Lets start with Gears and Cards- Headgears: Upper: Any Expa HG, Vote Valk Helm, any Legendary HG, Ship Captains Hat w/ Kiel card and any of these:(Forsaken Soldier Card & Maya Purple Card) Mid: Any Legendary, Vote, Donate or Emperium aura/aurora w/ Kiel card Lower: Gunslinger Vote Cape/Cursed Ring/Drake Jacket/Lovely Ribbon/Slayer Scarf w/ Kiel card Weapons: Legendary Gunslinger Revolver/Vali's Destroyer w/(2x Turtle General, Samurai Spectre/Thanatos, Randgris) (Feel free to test your own card combo) Armors: Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ Tao Gunka and Ghostring cards Cloaks: Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ Raydric and Skoll cards and 2x Raydric cards for switching Boots: Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ 2x Fallen Bishop Hibram cards Shields: Forsaken Knight/King, Vote King or Friggs King w/ Usakoring and a Golden Thief Bug for switching Accessories: 2x Dex Gaunts/Belts or Freyr's Gauntlets w/ Dex runes -Stats- STR: Put the rest here to carry seeds AGI: Until aspd is 195 VIT: Around more than 200k + HP INT: 1(You can add some if you think you eat too much seeds) DEX: 280-300 LUK: 1 (Note: Feel free to play and balance your stats between VIT and STR) -Tips & Application- During WoE, you'd want to be in a spot where its crowded like the Emperium area or Emp room entrance to spam Desperado GvG/BR or PVP in general tests your skills. So you'd want to practice fighting using Charge attack, since capes/rings have the skill as a bonus, to push them away from enemy pallies to Desperado away The skill Disarm is also advantageous if the enemy doesn't have FCP on them. Strip them of their weapon and finish them off Blessed Gunslinger Build (Full Buster) -Gears and Cards- Headgears: Upper: Any Expa HG, Vote Valk Helm, any Legendary HG, Ship Captains Hat(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) w/ Kiel card and any of these:(Forsaken Soldier Card & Maya Purple Card) Mid: Any Legendary, Vote, Donate or Emperium aura/aurora w/ Kiel card Lower: Gunslinger Vote Cape/Blessed Ring/Drake Jacket/Lovely Ribbon/Slayer Scarf w/ Kiel card Weapons: Eisa's Ember w/(2x Turtle General, Samurai Spectre/Thanatos, Randgris/Skeleton Worker) (Feel free to test your own card combo) Armors: Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ Tao Gunka and Ghostring cards Cloaks: Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ Raydric and Skoll cards and 2x Raydric cards for switching Boots: Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ 2x Fallen Bishop Hibram cards Shields: Forsaken Knight/King, Vote King or Friggs King w/ Usakoring and a Golden Thief Bug for switching Accessories: 2x Dex Gaunts/Belts or Freyr's Gauntlets w/ Dex runes -Stats- STR: Put the rest here to carry seeds AGI: Until aspd is 195 VIT: Around more than 200k + HP INT: 30-50(Full Buster eats seeds like there's no tomorrow. So you might want to add abit more INT) DEX: 280-300 LUK: 1(Need to confirm if Full Buster damage is affected by this stat) -Tips & Application- During WoE, You'd want to keep your distance. The best thing about this class is that you can hit enemies at maximum range using Full Buster Though Full Buster has a high damage output, it can be easily countered. so don't expect it to always be effective. The Skill Dust is Melee so it can penetrate pneuma and push back the enemy. You can also use Charge attack to push them out. In team fights, use Spread attack to whittle the enemy team's HP as support damage, though its damage is not the same as full buster, it is effective in its own way in terms of crowd control Guardian Gunslinger Build (Tracking) -Gears and Cards- Headgears: Upper: Any +10 Vote/Expansion Hat or +10 Ship Captain's Hat w/ Katheryne Keyron Cards Mid: Any legendary, vote, donate, Emperium aura/aurora w/ Tower Keeper Card Lower: Gunslinger Guardian Ring/Drake Jacket/Lovely Ribbon/Slayer Scarf w/Katheryne Keyron Card (Or Fsold) Weapon: Nari's Harbinger w/(2 TG, Samurai Spectre, Skeleton Worker) (Feel free to test your own card combo) Armors: 2 Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ Tao Gunka with Ghostring card and 2 Orc Lord cards Cloaks: Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ Raydric/Skoll with Sinx Card Boots: Forsaken Knight/King or Vote King w/ 2 Fallen Bishop Hibram Cards Shields: Forsaken Knight/King, Vote King or Friggs King with Usakoring/GTB Accessories: 2x Freyr's Gauntlets w/ Berzebub Cards or 1 Berzebub card and 1 Phen Card -Stats- STR: until 4500+ weight AGI: Until aspd is 195 VIT: Put the rest here (Should be around 180+) INT: 1 DEX: 280-300 (Divisible by 10) LUK: 1 -SPECIAL NOTES- GS Guardian is considered as a "Glass Cannon". It has a very powerful attack but at the cost of survivability, thus it's very low HP. GS Guardian is very soft due to the new rifle's description(Receive more damage from demihuman by 35%), so you have to rely on being hidden most of the time and ensure you have a paladin for devo. The reason why I use 2 OL on my armor is because I wont be able to survive asuras, I might as well take the champ down with me. -Tips & Application- During Woe times, remove your rifle when walking to the emp so you will receive less damage. (Try getting a L. Revolver or Valis so you can get the HP % bonus) The wide gaps in the maps are your best friend, Hit melee type chars far away and try to whittle their HP as your allies try to kill the enemy. Stay away from ranged enemies. at best you'd want to avoid them. Especially Blessed Gunslingers. After casting tracking, spam piercing shot to try and ensure the kill. This only works on classes with a low HP pool. Get a personal pally with you at all times when PVP-ing. -Additional Notes- This is optional (Though I am against this and see other GS do it) but if you want a more stealthy gameplay, you can use sinx card and max out your distance and use Full Buster to feel like a sniper assassin or pop out next to your opponent and Desperado the hell out of em. Though for Tracking type GS, Cloaking is your best friend and can help you survive even just a little bit. Save up activity tokens for a Ship Captain Hat[1](200 atoks)(20% to physical and ranged attack) and Macho Sunglasses[1](300 atoks)(Enables use of lvl 5 Falcon Eyes) Thus ends my guide Hit me up if you see me in-game Let me know if I missed anything Credits: [GM]Ares for giving me the opportunity to make a GS guide(even though it was reaaally late) Aerofox for letting me test on him ey b0ss denks Kack for a few insights on the job
  5. Since we have 3rd Job Sprites, is it too much to ask for the sprites of these 3? Gunslingers would get Rebel/Rebellion Sprite And Ninjas would get: For Male ninjas Kagerou and Females would get Oboro I hope to see them in-game. Additional notes: Like the 3rd job sprite download, I think its should be a separate file if you only want to see these classes and not affect the other jobs. Thanks for reading!

    Mvping Gs?

    Hello there! I'm really new here. I would just want to ask if there is anyone out there who wants to share the build of their GS who can be an MVP easily? I mean stat requirement, weapon used, etc. I always get ks-ed when i'm going for a boss hunt. Your help is pretty much appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)
  8. i would like to suggest additional bullet elements for the gunslinger class: shadow, immaterial and poison because gunslinger bullets only have neutral, holy, fire,earth,water, fire and wind which are easily reduced by having a holy armor to block the 6 elements(holy, fire,earth,water, fire and wind) and by wearing 2raydric cards on a garment neutral is also reduced which leaves the class having an elemental disadvantage compared to archer class, if the archer class can have all these elemental ammos so why not the GS class? and in addition to this i think it would be cool if the additional bullets will be named like: shadow= black bullet=quest requirements: 100fire dragon scale and 100evil horn ghost= magic bullet: 100FDS and 100silk? the drop of whisper? poison= rusty bullet(5% chance of causing poison): 100FDS and 100 poison spore. and damage of these are all 50. please add these bullets. :th_e8: :th_meow:
  9. So I just got my hands on the new GS weapon. When I first saw it I was so hyped, but when I finally got it, I was surprised to see it was 2 handed because most of the valkyrie weapons here that are supposed to be two handed are one handed. so I was hoping to get a fix on this by making it one handed. also if you can make gunslinger bless ring coincide with the new weapon.   10. current L.Gun stats Dex + 30 Vit + 15 HP + 15% MAXSP + 5% for Valis Dex + 35, Vit + 20, Max HP + 20% so as you can see. There is a clear distinction of both. I just want to suggest that, There must also be a MaxSP + ?? on the Valis to make it even with the LWep since we know that LWep are -5 or -5% lower in standing than valk weps. so thats the main point maybe MAXSP + 10% for valis would do follow the - 5 and + 5 rule.   11. Hi, I'm new to the forum, and quite recent to the Forsaken RO. Great server btw. [edit] I would like to formally request for a Legendary type Shotgun. [/edit] My main character is a Gunslinger, and when I got my legendary weapon, I was given a revolver. It is cool, and very useful, but I think the class itself might be under-powered because there are some very interesting Shotgun builds out there. The lack of a Shotgun with 4 slots, and some start boosting, sabotages people's attempts to take those builds to a competitive level. If nothing else, for the fact that makes the Gunslinger structurally different from the archer-long-range-type. Personally I prefer to use a Shotgun, and like I usually say on other types of games "there are few problems in life that cannot be solved with a Shotgun". I have also got some feedback from other users that a Gatling would also be a nice addition, but I'm just going for the Shotgun in this post.

  13. Since we already have most other 3rd class sprites like royal guard, rune knight for the old classes. And I can see the gunslingers rebellion class is out and working on some servers with 3rd jobs Can we get the sprite for it pleazeeeee :-)
  14. Since almost all classes have enlarged weight limit on weapons.. is there a reason why few like gunslingers are left out in the cold. I think either it should be universal or just kept for the original classes(merchant classes)
  15. Good day, A Gs to self buff uses coins. Which is a kinda unique system maybe a bit similar to champs. My problem though is we have to waste a lot if fighting time fliping coins. And the buff barely lasts a real significant duration. My idea was either we could improve the buff duration Or get a skill similar to monks where i cam just summon 5 coins. Now this skill could be added to vali's,l.gun. What's ur thoughts guys .. I've played in 99/70 where the. SQI bonus did just that summon 5 coins. And it worked well.

Hits have individual . chance to break gear or just 1 chance per skill use. Or skills don't trigger effect . you can only break by reflect / autoattack. Kindly if any one could confirm these would be great

  18. Good day, With all the balancing hanging in the balance lets try and be civil here so rage less and reason more. Please provide inputs after tests,if you haven't played and tested then it would just be really not justify the real deal. Currently before Gs spam reduction GS were competitive and balanced with RS harass and filler at range and Desperado at melee Even though they were non trans which was amazing one of the main ways was we were able to stagger ppl with the spam rate thus giving us opportunity to dish good damage to ppl at close range and have opturnity to kill Now days that stagger effect is not there thus making it very easy to get out of the desperado , worse still It gives a good window where we take tons of more damage . Where we could fight on equal terms is now not possible cause our surviablity was always low at melee range but was counter balanced by our spam damage rate with staggers is now gone. We have to escape once comited to melee range ( other than cloak which usually means a switch to xcross card making our damage redux even lower) we just don't seem to last long enough on equal gear and skill fights. the 5%damage and 80% spam have been a good change but we are still not at our pre nerf competitive level. Spam cannot be increased as that's a real issue in woe so that's out.. Which brings us to having to either further inc damage . Or increase surviablity especially during desperado casts. i know I mainly speak of 2main skill Rs and Desp as they are the primary means if damage, This does not mean we don't have various other buttons for gear changes, bullets, shirt timedbuffs,weapons switches etc its all there just like others. I was rooting more for a slight def buff for the desprado spam times..something thats evens out melee trades as most other melee classes have a way higher HP pool and sustain or escape cause the truth be said our best hope of killing others lies in melee range. I was thinking say about a 20% damage redux for melee damage like how bout a 20% chance to auto guard. That will still keep us vulnerable to magic and rightly so but give us melee surviablity.only active during desperado spam or put it like last 2 sec when u land less than 5hits of desp or more if that's a possibility.

Midgard Desolator(Valk Shotgun)Dex + 30 Hit Rate - 50 Vit + 20 Max HP + 15% Increase Damage of Full Buster by 10% Dust + 20% Spread Shot + 20% Reduce Cast Delay by 10% Midgard Annihilator(Valk Gatling Gun)Dex + 25 Vit + 20 Max HP + 30% ASPD + 10 5% Chance of gaining 1 Coin While Attacking 1% Chance of casting Increase Accuracy While Attacking 1% Chance of casting Disarm Midgard Obliterator(Valk Grenade Launcher)Dex + 20 Vit+ 20 HP/SP +30% ASPD + 5 Ground Drift + 40% Of course stats and bonuses are not final also I'm willing to participate in tetsting the weapons.   21. Any other gunslingers out there feel my pain? I'd like to suggest giving Valis Level 10 Enlarge Weight Limit to this dex-based class. Can only carry 200ish seeds, and that's with the new belts. What do you guys think?
