We can't eliminate the dungeon pass because as everyone has already said, it would impact the economy and there are other alternatives that don't require anything (eg., for_fild02). As for a gold room, this wouldn't really belong in the server. Zeny does not have much value here and there are plenty of places to farm for items to sell. The basic things you need to know about ForsakenRO are: our rates are 6k/6k/100% (MvP Cards at 10%), max level is 255/255 and we are a PK server. For the time being, editing skills is not an option. The only way to help a class is through items like cards, weapons, etc. because of our limited number of scripters. Regarding the topic, we'll take these suggestions into consideration. The current WS weapon was only meant to be a temporary help to the class while we're developing new weapons, etc. Swords aren't their main weapon and we are aware of that. As such, we didn't want to give that weapon too much since we will be releasing the actual weapon intended for WS at a later time. We can definitely remove the over thrust auto cast from the weapon and alter it slightly, but many of the suggestions will be incorporated into the next weapon.

If a majority of people agree, we can change it. Coma was added to the weapon because players had suggested it before, and at the time the weapons were being developed, we hadn't decided to alter the effects of edge. Since things have changed though, we're open to altering it. There's three things we could do here... 1) Leave it as it is 2) Adjust it down to .01% chance 3) Remove it all together Please pick one and give reasons for your choice. If you'd like to suggest/agree with an alternative to the coma (eg. increasing the SP), please include that in your post as well. It would be very helpful for us if people could do this, thanks! (:

Well, about the difficulty with leveling without gears, it was already suggested to create gears that players start out with/quest for that would help leveling. Also, we could start emphasizing the mercenary system more so people know that there is always that option. Or we could make a custom place for people to level after lhz_dun03, but that would be quite a bit of work to accomplish. It seems that from the reviews/what players say, they are most discouraged about pvping because the drastic difference between beginner gears and the veterans/people who dominate pvp. I was also disappointed to see a lot of players bully and pick on newer/less geared players. That is a sure fire way for new players to leave, unfortunately there isn't much we can do about it as staff... that's something our players can work on though. (:

They're not donation exclusive. That hasn't changed. All that means is that they are not account bound and can be traded to other players, which these weapons can be. Also, many people thought that at first but if you actually played in game you would see that really isn't the case. The already strong classes received minimal boosts or we tried to make it so their classes would be more diverse. Other weaker classes' weapons were designed to help balance the class, taking players' suggestions into account.

Agree, let's hear more from the community. We were doing so well before! Now is the time to suggest things for this since this is what we are currently working on (a long with some other really AWESOME things that ya'll should be super excited for... I know I am!). Keep the great ideas coming! (: Edit: Just tossing this idea out here, but what if we made it so players could purchase basic equipment in the Forsaken King room using vote points? (Or just add them to vote rewards, but either way make sure they are bound to the account). They'd of course be costly, but it would give players something to work toward and support the server at the same time. I don't know though, just trying to think of a way to either (1) make it easier for newer players to obtain donation coupons (2) make it easier for new players to get better gears/survive in pvp.

One of the only ways we could fix the price difference between the two is if we made gvh drop as low as the imp helms, but this is problematic because there are so many gvh out there already. Short of taking back everyone's gvh helms (which is obviously not an option), there isn't much we can do about it now. Twice, I think in some ways this is beneficial because it makes it more affordable for players who do not have an excessive amount of coupons. Imp helms are still more valuable though because of their rarity and their color selection. In my opinion, it strikes a nice balance. As for the original suggestion, this is being rejected for these reasons mentioned in my prior post: I didn't reject it at the time I posted because I wanted to see if there would be any more discussion or if someone could correct what I said. Since there was little feedback, I think this has had its time for consideration. - Rejected -

It was rejected because it can't be done at this time. Skill edits are not an option because we only have one person who scripts/codes currently (not to mention he is very busy) and they also risk messing up everything else. Trust me, there are plenty of suggestions about skill edits I agree with 110% but they just can't be done at this time. We can't accept every suggestion just because a majority of people agree with it. Thank you for your understanding. (:

Please stop fighting in the suggestion topics (or anywhere else on the forum for that matter). If ya'll disagree about something someone else is saying (that is mostly unrelated to the suggestion) then could you take it to PM? It makes it more difficult to accept things if we have to read through people arguing about things like that as well as the actual suggestion discussions. Thanks! (:

Well the original suggestion was for it to be a ladder prize. I personally think that this makes the most sense since the other wings being discussed are ladder prizes as well. Plus, it's good to add more prizes to encourage people to ladder. Woe already has nice rewards like emperiums and imp helms. (:

I'm pretty sure that kills in woe no longer count towards pvp ladder kills. This was recently fixed in one of the updates, I believe. As far as cheating goes, if you see another player cheating please report them. Cheating in the ladder will not be tolerated. We try our best to catch cheaters, but it makes it much easier if players help us by reporting them too. (:

I meant how much Blizzard was suing them. That's crazy! I agree with Zero, I think they'd go after eAthena first. I guess a few years ago Gravity actually did send out letters to some of the smaller private servers warning them but no action was ever taken, so... I sure hope fRO will be fine, I think it will be. It's different with WoW because the founding company is based in the US too... Since Gravity isn't, I imagine it would be more difficult to take action. They are aware of private servers though. I saw something on eA where people said they actually stole items that people had made for private servers and added them to iRO, lol.

Hi and welcome (back) to fRO, Kendrid! I hope you'll like it here again. It's definitely recommended to have some gears before pvping, but there are a lot of helpful people around so no worries! I'd recommend either questing for the elite gears or farming items and selling them to other players for coupons. As you already mentioned, voting is a great way to get items too. You can also participate in our forum photo request event to win neat prizes! Last month's was a NintendoDSi. You can check the events section of the forums for more info about that...
