We're going to be adding more WoE drops as well as possibly some other things and we'll take these suggestions into consideration. One thing that is a definite no no is having it drop Forsaken King parts, I don't think that's a good idea at all and would never happen. The other ideas could be nice though. Concerning the scamming, I understand where you're coming from completely. In an ideal world, we would be able to do this. However, from a practical perspective, we can't return all of the items lost from scam cases. This is for multiple reasons: (a) People try to lie about these cases many times and take advantage of us to get free items (b) if the admins do just @item new items, that means all of the old items are out there somewhere too and we're adding a lot of new items into the economy that weren't paid for or earned. In the long term, this would hurt the economy in game and the funds the server is able to produce. We do return items if we're able to recover them, which is more than many servers will do. © Your items are your responsibility. Yes, you can trust people and lend out your items, but you also have to realize the risks associated with that and the possibility you will not get your items back. From an official standpoint, the staff has to discourage lending out items, since often times if you do, you won't get them back and it's difficult, time consuming, and often impossible for us to track them down. As for what else you're saying, I think it would be a good idea to make Endless Tower more challenging and rewarding. Do you have any ideas for prizes we could add? The more specific everyone is in their suggestions, the better it is and the quicker the changes will be added. I'm not sure what old events you're referring to, it'd be great if you could elaborate more. We could get people's opinions in game and I think it would be helpful. Although it's much easier to keep track of what people say on the forums and refer back to it, which is why we do it the way we do now. People who aren't willing to join the forums and make a post have no right to complain about not having a voice. It takes only a few minutes to register and isn't hard so they really have no excuse. As Thomas Jefferson said, "We do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate," and I think that applies in this case. We're allowing everyone to voice their concerns, its up to them whether or not they want to take advantage of that. We can however broadcast in game about this and feel free to tell your friends so they can post here.

Yeah, we were thinking of doing that since the Valkyrie weapons made the rental weapons essentially useless to those with coupons, and to my knowledge, hardly anyone uses them anymore. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) It'd be better to make them available to newer players and would help even out the playing field more.

I completely agree with what you're saying. The staff has been discussing what we can do to improve the server, and we decided we need to better address the needs of new players. However, we also need to do things for players like you that are older, have been here a long time, and already have most of the best equipment in game. To appeal to both crowds is difficult, but it's something we need to try to do... To be able to successfully pull it off, we need to work collaboratively with old players on coming up with solutions. That's why I made the 2 new topics, one is for ideas to help new players, the other is to come up with ideas to keep older players entertained. While I'm not ruling this out as a possibility for the latter, I want to see if there are any other solutions that could work better. Some players have been expressing frustration/unhappiness with the server lately, and we're trying to give you guys a chance to change things and make a difference for the better together. I completely understand where this suggestion is coming from. However, like I said, if we continue to top the existing items we have, it creates a cycle. What happens when most of the well-geared players get these equips (and yes, it's undeniable they will likely be the first to get these) and become bored again. Then we have to release new items that are even better, and it continues on and on until we have items that add +50 all stats. I think we should try to find other ways to solve the problem you raised if possible. Any suggestions to that end belong in the other topic I've made and would be highly appreciated, although these new ladder prizes can still be discussed here as well.

Moved your post to the topic about helping new players, since I feel this is more relevant. I think those are good ideas, we already were discussing making the elite quest easier, as well as introducing a set in between the Elite set and the Forsaken King set. The server has changed a lot since the Elite quest was introduced and in my opinion it needs to be upgraded to stay relevant with all of the new items, etc.

Can you be more specific about what you have in mind? It can be a Novice Gladiator event! GMs can drop a few weapons and players have to fight to get them. Maybe throw in some tigers or other wild beasts too... Joking about those parts, but that sounds like it would be a fun event.

More than a few of our older players have been saying that there's nothing to do anymore. While we try to improve the server for new players, we don't want to ignore our current player's needs as well. We're looking to the community to come up with suggestions for new things that we can add to keep the server fresh and interesting. Whether it's new events, new quests, or anything else you have in mind, this is the place to post it. Bonus points for coming up with creative and unique solutions to this problem! Note: any suggestions or improvements concerning new players should go here. Suggestions so far: Add new events (Lv. 1 Novice LMS with no gear, no healing items, no levels)

This came up in another topic and also in discussion between the GMs and I wanted to open this up to the community as a whole. One of our primary goals is to improve the game for new players and make it easier for them to start out here. We got some really great suggestions from everyone last time (many of which were implemented), so we would love to hear more! Everyone's feedback is greatly appreciated on this issue. (: Note: any suggestions for improving the server/keeping it interesting for older/more experienced players should go here. The problem with this is the existing items already add a lot. We can't just keep "topping" ourselves or else eventually we'll end up with items that add +50 all stats or even more. I agree we need to take a step in a new direction; however, this isn't the way to go in my opinion. As players have pointed out, not just anyone can win the PvP ladder and by adding these items as ladder rewards we would just be widening the gap between the rich and the poor even more. One of the goals I'd like for us to take on is closing this gap significantly instead. Acetrainer and a few others have been advocating for changes to benefit new players, and I'd be more than happy to hear all of those ideas in a new suggestion topic or through PM. We're going to make this one of our top priorities in future updates. We already implemented a lot of the great suggestions we got concerning this last time and I'd love to hear what else we could do. That being said, we also need to have something to entertain older players as well. It's going to be very difficult to strike a balance between the two. Your feedback concerning this would be extremely helpful. (Personally, I think WoE 2.0 and Battlegrounds would likely be a good solution to this). Adding more colors of the PvP ladder wings is a great option too, but as someone else has said, it wouldn't be a long term solution. Class specific sets COULD be an option if they're done carefully, though I'm not entirely sold on this idea myself.

This is just a general reminder to everyone about what behavior is expected of you as a GM. It's extremely important that you do not let your personal feelings for players interfere with your job as GM. No matter how much you dislike another player, you are not permitted to treat them any differently, to badmouth/flame them (whether it's public or private), etc. As a GM, you are expected to behave in a professional and unbiased manner at all times. If you see any of the staff behave inappropriately, please speak up and remind them of the proper way to behave. It should go without saying that it's also not appropriate to complain about or criticize the server. We also ask that GMs post suggestions on their legits only. You are however allowed to reply to suggestions on your GM and give your opinion. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation on this issue.
