Posts hidden. This is a suggestion. We have explained our reasons, and the rule about hand-drawing will stay for those reasons. There is no point arguing about it any more. If I see any more arguing about it, or flaming, no matter how small, I will increase warn.

Yes, you still need to explain it. :) And like others have said, we just don't want it to be square, whether with a border or not. We'd like it to not look square at all. Exactly what others have said. A drawing competition fitting a theme may be possible in the future, but the thing is this. A lot of people kept giving reasons (like Kittie said) like "because it was hand-drawn". And on top of that, people would judge based on how WELL it was drawn. Using art that you find that is hand-drawn by other people is different because it's not a matter of...personal effort, I guess...for the participants. You find a render or renders and you manipulate it/them. That's what this contest is supposed to be about.

Three of the rules for this event will be changed henceforth: 1) Signature sizes should not exceed 300x300px. (length by width). Reason: The forum rules state that signatures should not exceed 300x400px. Therefore, it makes sense that this event should not exceed that size as well! Punishment: Warning to change the size of the signature and repost by the time the topic for that week closes. If it is not resized, the entry will be disqualified for that week. 2) Contestants may not use hand-drawn works done by themselves. Reason: We do not want this to turn into an art contest. Signatures should show off editing skills, not drawing skills. Punishment: Instant disqualification of the contestant for that week. 3) Signatures should have a ratio that is not 1:1. I.e. NO SQUARE SIGNATURES. We will be flexible in this area, but will inform you if your signature is not acceptable. Reason: Square signatures are not common, and we do want to make this more of a "signature" event. Punishment: Warning to fix. If it is not fixed by the end of the week, the entry will be disqualified. Keep in mind that this event will happen every other week rather than every week starting from now on. Also keep in mind that buying signatures from other players and presenting them as your own is not ok!

And actually...we have GMs from timezones all over. Asia, Europe, South America, Central America, North America, and more. The biggest problem is that, while American GMs are sleeping, others are at school and vice versa, so yes, there is a gap in which GMs aren't/can't be on. And those that can be on aren't going to be on for 12 hours at a time. But like Ryuk said, there are other ways to get in touch with a GM. MSN and forum PMs/posts are always available. Ok and what about it showing up in the processes?

Yeah, we had our tickets like...3 weeks in advance or something. xD

It varies. I've heard that it works with Renewal and doesn't, depending on the person. I would go with Rag and Sak, though. We haven't changed to the Renewal system.

Well, that depends. Do you get any kind of message when you try to open, and does it show up on your processes?

Did you get any message at all when you tried to play? If so, please post it here! If not... 1) Try right-clicking the patcher and say "Run as Administrator" and see if that works. 2) Open your ctrl+alt+delete panel. See if it's running in the processes. Post here whether it does or not! 3) Open the game with the .exe and see if it comes up there.

It is very epic. There are some parts I wish they'd kept, but there's not a lot you can do when you have a time limit, I suppose! July seems like it's really far off.
