Also, assassin dagger as an offhand weapon might be useful, adds a fair amount of hp/sp, which could be better than a dagger full of atroce/zipper bears. I believe assassin dagger is elemental too.

Thanks for posting this btw, I've been wanting to try something different with my assassin. Are you sure that matk doesn't change the damage? And does gtb nullify 1/2 the damage because its magic? Btw: Atroce card is better than andre, atroce = +25 atk, andre = +20. But zipper bear is your best bet. Also, Doppelganger Card might be a good choice to reduce the amount of agility you have to put in to get 195 aspd if your using daggers. Whitesmith Card may also be helpful if the enemy isn't FCP'ed

Well, 51k spamable is a little too strong, even though I see assassins spam SB that does about 15k each x8 = 120k, and if they have 4 kiels they can spam it about 3 times within fractions of a second, so 3 x 120k = 360k. BUT this thread isn't about assassins. I like the idea of increasing forger to 50%, I actually wonder why it isn't 50% already. FBH doesn't help cart ram so it seems only fair... I also like the idea of an hp boost. When considering WS damage we should take into account they don't have ranged skills, so they wont be terribly over powered no matter what we do. A champ can tss, a sinx can soul destroy.. etc...

I've leveled about 5 characters in thor and lhz, I've never been PKed. Maybe I'm just lucky? My point was that there are certain places in lhz with low spawn rates that people go to pvp, and disabling pvp there would ruin that. I know what your response is, "we have pvp rooms, blah blah blah" Well of course we do... but maybe, just maybe... people on a PK server would rather fight out in the fields than in a designated room.. I know, who would have thought huh? And IF the pvp was turned off in those areas, they'll just find a new place to pvp/pk and people will complain again and again. The fact is: It's a PK server, your going to die: DEAL WITH IT. I mean, if your leveling then your probably just @warping around anyway, so no one can really repeatedly KOS you unless you keep warping to them, which is highly unlikely. I'm not for turning pvp off on main lvling maps UNLESS the server as a whole becomes none-PK, because otherwise you're just defeating the purpose.

That kind of defeats the purpose the hot-spots. People go to lhz and for fild because its a hot pvp spot. @pk on and off in towns would work.

It's still much too early to say if it's going to flop. It has a year... I personally don't like M. Night Shyamalan or 90% of his movies... going to be interesting to see what he does with this. And about not paying to see it: Its like $6 where I live to see a matinee... better to see it in the theater and judge it than some pirated version.

Well, @pk will definitely be abused. I've been on servers with similar commands and people just switch it off, kill you, then switch it back on so you can't kill them. The only way to stop that would be put a delay on @pk, but then we're going down a slope of delaying things, and people don't like that. The idea of making a delay that is specific to after hitting a player is nice, but I don't really see how its possible. Also, I feel a 3 second delay is more plausible than 10.... 10 seconds is a long time in pvp, especially on this server.

True, this summer has been disappointing so far. I liked The Hangover, and The Ugly Truth was O.K. But all of the big blockbusters sucked really. Looking forward to Inglorious Basterds and Sherlock Holmes.

That still slows down leveling and hunting. Example: You warp to an area on your character and your collecting X item. You kill Y monster for X item then you have to wait 10 seconds to warp again. After a while these increments of 10 seconds add up to a lot of time and annoyance. I'm trying to think of a way to make this work with just players, but I just don't see it working... Sorry.

BoS only enchants Water. My idea adds more variables to gameplay. I understand some people do not like this idea though.

Many people use different means of enchanting weapons on this server; Professor Endow, Box of Storms, Aspersio, etc... And I understand that this an important aspect of the game. However I was thinking of perhaps adding an npc that would permanently endow a weapon with a certain element (Water/Fire/Wind/etc...). Of course this should come at a heft price for the player, maybe an actual chance at destroying the weapon plus a large cost (10-20 coupons? maybe more) per attempt. I know some people will say its not needed and just duel client and enchant or buy BoS, but I think this would add an interesting variable to not only PvP but to MvP hunting/killing as well. PvP wouldn't be changed drastically, but it would add more options. This enchant should again be permanent and only for weapons. Comments/Criticism?

Another possibility is doppelganger / hunter fly. With the aspd boost you wouldn't need to put as much agility, and hunter fly has a chance at restoring 15% of dmg as HP... Which I suppose doesn't really matter with the berry usage on this server. But I don't think Smiths need TG. Mine does 20k CT's on players and I don't have forger cards so.... One question I do have is: If fallen bishop is +50% damage to demi human and forger card is +40% damage with CT, and both equip into shoes, wouldn't FBH be better anyway? If someone could clarify the details of the damage calculation I would appreciate it.

The movie wasn't too great to be honest. I'm no Harry Potter pro so I don't know how accurate or true to the story it was. But all in all I wasn't impressed. Best part was when Dumbledore was throwing fire, but he goes out like a bitch like Samuel L. Jackson in Star Wars.

God, this is stupid. But it made me laugh. So, thank you sir/ma'am. Anyway, dreams can be very meaningful or entirely meaningless. I don't think you can really interpret them fully. I've never had a dream with naked dudes in it though.

M. Forger equips into boots. So what do smiths use in weapon other than incant/phree? Assuming they do not have Thanatos. Skel workers don't help CT dmg either.

Thank you everyone who contributed. It seems people do not like the idea of another attack skill, at least a magic one. Also the idea of increasing buff effects or level was kind of cut down so it doesn't seem very popular. I do feel that people have had a positive reaction to the DeBuff suggestion though. I'm not suggesting an entirely new skill, maybe modifying a current skill such as Decrease Agility or Turn Undead to give better DeBuffs verses players such as -10 Dex/Int/Luk/Str.

Well not to sound like an ass, but I am business school (double major actually) and this would hurt the economy. It would also decrease the probability of people donating as the donation coupon would further depreciate in value compared to the event coupon. They may be sold "on the streets" as 2:1 which already depreciates the donation coupon but if the npc is changed that would solidify the depreciation.

That sounds like it could work too. But then the whole party would get a card each.... That may be a bit too much. Depends on the GM's discretion I suppose.

1. Making all monsters drop Berries will actually do the exact opposite. Right now certain players earn their money through harvesting Berries and selling them in the market. If all monsters dropped Berries then everyone would have them and no one would really buy them. As supply increases demand decreases, this means there is no buying and selling of Berries. Therefore bad for the economy. 2. This would have a really big effect on the economy (Probably bad though as I will explain), probably just a switch of main currencies from donation coupon to event coupon. However, this would effect people's probability of donating negatively. Because some player donate for certain things/coupons and sell them ingame, they would be a lot less likely to do so if the donation coupon's value depreciated compared to the event coupon. 3. This will 1. Give many players cards and increase PVP flow, but 2. Decrease the value of said cards in the player market. I think people are comfortable with the way it is now. 4. I like the idea of MVP events. I feel they should be pvp enabled though, and not 100% drop rate. Maybe a LMS with mass amounts of MVPs with no drops. The last man standing gets a card of his choice (not Thanatos).
