    Steal Skill

    Note: Maybe try using a bow on your stalker or copying some magic to level it instead of ctrl clicking and auto stealing with a melee weapon.

    Steal Skill

    I have to agree with nines (shocker). Is the time/effort/danger from editing the skill really worth your slight inconvenience of having to throw some items out of your inventory? Also, this skill is helpful to new people for collecting items to NPC while leveling. You may not need it but others probably do.

    @whodrops

    Sure it's a high rate server but that doesn't mean everything needs to be given to you. Some things are meant to be challenging and recently finding specific custom quest items is a challenge. Without challenge things get boring. Adding this command eliminates the necessity for us to actually think for ourselves at all. It's not even that challenging sometimes... Example: "Hmmm, this fire npc tells me he doesn't like dragons... I've been collecting other items from dragons.... I wonder where this essence of fire thing comes from..." I don't think asking players to string together basic clues is too much to ask. You even have @mi to confirm any suspicions. Lastly, have you considered that adding this command will devalue your hard earned quest items? As of right now people have to figure out who drops what. If you add the command it makes the quest much easier which in turn makes your item worth less. I for one don't appreciate my items being devalued just because some people are too lazy to use ratemyserver.
  4. I agree with buffing the guardians. They should be much stronger. WoE tokens could drop from treasure boxes at like 10% (13% at Prontera) and like 10-15 for a new emp/imp/ruck color.
  5. I'll agree if: 1. Like Sensation mentioned: If it's even possible. 2: The rewards are minuscule.

    @whodrops

    Well some items are meant to be slightly more difficult to figure out how to get... such as quest items. Essence of fire, for example, took some people a while to figure out. Ratemyserver is good for everything else though.

    Guild Vs Guild

    I agree with a warp out feature. Why? It makes the pvp much more legitimate. In WoE you get warped out automatically so you can't just lay there and tell your guild mates when people are rushing. Dead men tell no tales. I agree with a dedicated host. Why? It makes it much easier to catch and cheating (see next response). It also makes GvG more reliable... for now we only get to have the event if one of our GMs happens to be online. I disagree with the host not being able to participate with a legit account. Why? GMs are, after all, our fellow players. Only the host is allowed to be inside the GvG arena (with the exception of Senior GMs)... because of this if any cheating is happening it's very easy for the cheater to be caught. Now, if we had a single dedicated GvG host it would make it even easier to catch if anyone was cheating because only the mentioned host would be in the GvG arena. If you think someones cheating you can just ask a senior GM to check up on it, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for them to catch a cheater. As for now, however, we do not have a single designated GM to host GvG because Memory retired. So it comes down to who is online at the time to host it.

    Friggs

    People abused the hard work of the GM team... Not only that but they disobeyed the one request which was not to post the information. People are lucky and should be happy that the quest is still in-game. It was meant to be hard.

    Trading

    I hate when I make an agreed deal then someone asks me for like 5% more tokens right before I deal them. Me: 500 for it your item. Them: Sure. *I deal them* Them: Actually, make it 525. Me: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEQUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT.
  11. Bingo. Lets face it: Our card market wasn't strong anyway. Most people have sufficient amounts of cards to play their desired class therefore once the majority of players have what they need the market for cards begins to suck. Now cards are more easily obtained for new people while keeping the same spawn time and drop rate the only thing you really do is bring more people into the market of earning and selling cards. Keep in mind that a lot of newbies are going to be keeping these cards as well, not just selling. Price drops could happen because new people are more likely to sell things at under-priced rates because their naive/desperate but the majority of the community knows the prices of cards and will probably keep prices floating around the current value. Lastly, cards aren't one of our more liquid items anyway. They are harder to turn into tokens than other things such as tickets, etokens, zenny, donation items, and quest items. So, on the whole a slight price drop in cards won't hurt the entire economy. I agree. I'm definitely willing to let my supply of cards drop in value (though thats unlikely to happen) if more people would join the server and stay (more likely to happen now).
  12. If this is implemented it the kills here shouldn't count towards ladder. In fact I don't think there should be any reward system for this room. It seems to be more for educational/pvp practice purposes to help people prepare for Annihilation. Your prize is being more prepared for Annihilation events.
  13. So, I was off by a bit: Sanctuary tops out at 1.8k (without highness). Ok, so here are some screens of my priest with the max int I could get (even using the +20 int food) and four Bacsojin cards. I tested out the Priest Elite Book vs the +10 Staff of Recovery. Heal with Book: Heal with Staff: Sanctuary with Book: Sanctuary with Staff: Again, I don't have the Priest Highness nor do I know anyone with it but I suspect it would boost heal no higher than 23-24k and Sanctuary no higher than 2.2-2.4k.
  14. My Suggestion: Buff the Bacsojin cards/Priest Highness/Priest Elite book. Priest Elite book currently does: Increase heal and sanctuary effectiveness by 5%. My suggestion: Buff it to 50% heal and 70% sanctuary. Bacsojin cards currently do: Increase the effectiveness of your Heal/Sanctuary/Potion pitcher by 30%. My suggestion: Buff Heal/Potion pitcher to 70 or 80% and Sanctuary to 200% Priest Highness currently does: Increase Heal by 50% and Sanctuary by 50% My suggestion: Buff heal to 100-200% and sanctuary to 300-400%. At the moment with high int (mind you, int doesn't increase sanctuary) and four bacsojins the max sanctuary is 1700, add recovery wand and maybe a bit over 2k. With priest highness factored in it's about 2.5-3k (maybe a little higher/lower). Now lets say it heals 3500 just for arguments sake (I'm being generous here). An emp has 250,000,000 hp now 250000000/3500 = almost 71, 500 sanctuary ticks to fully heal an emp. I think this is a bit ridiculous.

    Gvg Suggestion

    Kinda true. It would just be handing over free etokens and GvG certificates to Trans... I don't want that. @Topic: Well, redux have been changed... So I guess we'll see what kind of effect this has on GvG and my topic seeing how it is focused on reductions and refusal to fight.
  16. I say edit Bacsojin cards to increase sanctuary a few hundred percent. Sanc tops out at like...2.5k-3? Maybe 4-5k with the priest highness (which no one has btw because 50% heal/sanc simply isn't worth it) when the emp has like 250m hp? Good luck healing that with sanctuary... Using the skill is probably more of a hindrance now than help... creates more lag in the emp room. And why on earth would people make big guilds to attack other big guilds? A 10 man team can do just fine as it is right now and even better they split their loot 10 ways instead of 25-35 ways.

    Gvg Suggestion

    No I don't think substitutions should be allowed in GvG lol.... this isn't 5th grade dodge-ball. If you die you're eliminated for good.
  18. 1. Remove the damage nerf during woe. 2. Add more WoE prizes (drops). -WoE tokens to be traded to a npc for other items? -More Emp/Imp/Ruck colors. I can almost assure you if new Emp/Imp/Rucks are added to WoE drops people will WoE more.

    Gvg Suggestion

    I really hope you guys understand I'm not suggesting an over all GvG time limit. I'm suggesting a none confrontation rule. I have no problem with 1 guy vs 5 having to run around and use hit and run tactics. The key word here is hit. As GvG stands now I could just slap on full reductions with a str/vit build and tank all of GvG for hours while backsliding and hiding while taking advantage of the fact that GvG doesn't end until one guild is standing... What's stopping me from just avoiding people for five hours to wait for them to log out? While at the same time no other events can be hosted for the rest of the community... @Sensation: In essence if the player refusing to fight is warned and continues to be none-confrontational they'd forfeit their right in the event and would be kicked.
  20. I really agree with you here nines. Shocking.... I know... In pvp the reductions are fine but in woe the damage nerf pushes them overboard.... Like I said before: Is it possible to remove the damage nerfs during woe?
  21. I completely understand where you're coming from. I think this would have been much more realistic if it were suggested pre: valk weapons/friggs/skull aura. WoE does lose it's glisten when people can walk right through an army of people attacking them and still hit the emp or recall. I don't think taking back all the reductions is probable to happen... But I would like to see if its possible to remove the damage reductions in WoE so that we deal normal damage. I can agree with nerfing overall damage reductions but not completely removing them back to iRO standards.

    Gvg Suggestion

    I never see you advertising that you're recruiting. Never seen you even make an effort to gain more members. In fact I see a few of your members just not go to GvG, they just sit in fcity. Of course I would rather have more real competition.
  23. Xtopher

    Gvg Suggestion

    I wasn't trying to target any specific person with this suggestion. Honestly, I've had to run and hide in order to have any chance at victory too.... But I don't feel that GMs and the entire community should be inconvenienced because of this. And as for your post... Drax chooses to go into GvG with very few members (most of them are his own characters). He could recruit more or demand more of his guild members if he wanted. That's his choice. To put in in a language you seem to find necessary Nines: Less QQ more recruit-cruit?
  24. Xtopher

    Gvg Suggestion

    I've noticed that lately GvG has become more and more... how do I put this? Long winded. I don't believe that GMs should have to sit and wait for sometimes hours for a single person to die. Nor should a single person be able to abuse the fact that there is no time limit to GvG and just run around waiting for enemies to get tired or have something else they must do come up. Let's be honest, when someone just runs and hides repeatedly throughout GvG it's more of an annoyance for everyone rather than a fun event. It kind of takes the fun out of the event as well as adding a burden to the GMs and the rest of the community because 1. The host GM is stuck waiting for one or two runners/hiders to die and 2. The rest of the community can't enjoy other events because the team is waiting for GvG to end. I'm not suggesting a time limit on the event. I'm suggesting a none-confrontation rule be added. To put it simply: If the enemy is refusing to fight (Running, Hiding) over a x-minute time span he is to be kicked from GvG. I think the rule should be enforce toward the end of the event (running and hiding during the battle is in some cases very strategic for some classes). I just do not think the event should go from a guild V guild war to "who can stay online the longest to win". Let me know what you guys think!
  25. Fact: If you're going to main a specific class you should have more than one of the classes weapon. For example champs can use 5-6 fnux, sinx use god knows how many daggers, snipers/stalkers use more than one bow and clowns use multiple guitars. If dispel is so important to you then slap a valk r in an alternative weapon. LK's shouldn't be killing buffs while spiraling for maximum damage output. Zac posted some damage outputs with Valk R. in place of a Skel and spiral only did 500 damage less per hit. That's fair. If you want to debuff then use a debuff weapon (which is still doing decent damage) and if you want full damage output then use a 3tg/skel weapon. A lot of you claim to play LK a lot and want responses from LK players. Well I've played the class. I have the weapon. I think it's fine as it is. What I really don't understand is why people are so stuck on giving LKs advantages it was never meant to have (more sp and now auto dispell?). I don't understand why people do not want to boost the current strong points such as hp/hit (with more hit you can replace some dex for hp/sp and with more hp you can replace some vit with int). You have to have to some disadvantages. The class is no where near underpowered. I play on a laptop thats falling to pieces with a trackpad and I can still pvp just fine with LK. The complaints about damage on people with reductions: Well here's some news for you guys: Everyone does low damage on reductions. I know it's mind blowing but try to stay with me here. A champions full asura (Probably the biggest damage dealing skill in the game) can be reduced from millions of damage to less than 40k but do we see the champions crying out for stronger asura damage? No. Why? Because they've found ways around it or have learned to adapt and use other skills. Some champs are even forced into situations where they have to tss with LOD cards in hopes for coma. Reductions are reductions. If the skill is boosted just because it does 2.2-2.5k per hit (11-12.k total) on reductions then imagine the domino effect behind normal damage 6-7k per hit (30-35k total). I'm sorry but I just don't feel spiral needs to exceed 35-40k total damage per click. You act as if you can do nothing... like your char is handicapped beyond being able to pvp... I really don't think that is the case... What do you want? Me to FRAPS my LK running around killing people?
