lowel2 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Hi guys! Today I would like to suggest a skill boost on stalkers, like if a character is on Full Chemical Protect a stalker will be rendered useless, unless his FCP is dispelled. With this suggestion not only will stalkers be used on WoE, but the Alchemist Job will be popular on woe. Why? Because the skill I would like to suggest is dispeller of FCP (one by one, not all of em in one go.) Example is: If a Champion (Character A) is on full chemical protect, and a Stalker (Character B) used the skill "Divest Helm, Divest Shield, Divest Sword or Divest Armor" it will make the Chemical Protect dispelled IF he/she has a "Glistening Coat" in his/her inventory thus requiring every divest skill to use Glistening Coat to dispel one Chemical Protection. Pros: Stalkers will be popular on woe as well not just alternate character Biochemist/Alchemist will be used on woe as well, not just FCPer and participating on woe as I see it there are less jobs like this one on woe, only Champs,SinX and Snipers mainly are used on woe. Cons: People might not want this since they want to have FULL PROTECT on their char on woe, and it's a hassle to do FCP every time. lol P.S. I hope you get my point. xD I just want to see every Job to be used on WoE :) 1
pranchew Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 -1 Every Jobs are being used in WOE. Not all people are FCPed during Woe. I'm wondering if this type of suggestion will be implemented, therefore, Stalkers and Bios are all over. All the classes will be junked=Just strip one of their items will definitely mean DEAD. It will be a matter of who has more stripper class in the guild, not breakers, nor even defenders, neither the devoers. LOL. *I hope u take into consideration what a stalker can do with Link. ^^. Nice compassion anyways to the Stalker and Bio classes. /no1
gennova Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Can't agree with this. Both job already useful the way they are if being properly used. Stalker can copy pretty much all offensive skill, so he is useful for killer and with his speed he can be very useful to do the Emergency Call. And stalker have skill called Close Cofine that I really want to see its utilized. As for Bio his stun lock is a great maneuver to slow down enemy.
plok123 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 -1.. I would agree it would make the class used more if this was implemented, but it wouldn't be balanced anymore, this would be like how the number of gs were before they got nerved, there would just be a lot of stalkers coz they got buffed.. And also, it wouldn't be balanced. Stalkers are already pretty annoying to go 1v1 against with..
Aerofox Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 -1 as well.As I have noticed on WoE, all jobs have their own purpose and contribution to WoE, and it's not just snipers, SinXs and Champions that you see.Flyin' Solo got a HW, Ninja, and GS for defensive purposes, and it's really effective. Stalker's Stealth is a great tool for WoE since you can't be revealed via Sight or Ruwach.Be soul linked, and you'll be REALLY fast if you combine Stealth with Cspeed. You just have to experiment and create strategies depending on your class, and you will see how effective and important every class is in WoE. :)

Rayray Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 As someone who mains both Biochemist and Stalker and made numerous tests regarding both classes, enough to make decent guides for them, I will disagree for numerous reasons. 1. If you play stalker and you revolve around stripping, you are doing it wrong. Your build probably consist of having max dex and then the rest to vit or something. Experiment with the class, stalker is one of the most versatile characters due to the fact that he can copy trans skills in this server. A decent stalker would actually render a champ useless if he knows what he is doing. A stalker will win any fight the moment his strip work, that's why it has a big counter. 2. We had a preview of this suggestion when the pvp room dispells fcp. The top winners then were either a stalker or a biochemist( i remember me snatching number 2 then without even trying). 3. Stalker will become overpowered against the only decent counter it has, Biochemist. Strip depends on stalker's dex - enemy's dex. It also has a 15% base chance as I remember it. Therefore, all the stalker had to do is just spam strip against a bio, when a bio is supposedly the only class that can fully counter a stalker. This tips the balance off. My advice is, as I said on my stalker guide, to always assume that everyone is in FCP. That way you can get a rough estimate on when the FCP will be off if they had it, and create a build that can kill people WITHOUT using strip.
lllKurolll Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 -1 the purpose of FCP is to negate strip/break. what is the purpose of FCP if you can dispel it anyway.
Ackerman Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 -1 the main purpose of FCP is to block strip or broken items .
Genesis Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 We are going to be adding some changes to the stalker rings which should hopefully make stalkers more viable. :)
