    A proper sinx kills anything, then we have an impasse. xD And as i said, SW isn't immunity to meelee even if 95% of hits is what goes through all it takes for a coma is a lucky hit, believe me i know. As also a sinx player i can affirm; with GTB+FCP there's no way a full caster can kill me. Well, If the whole build in equipments is focused in stopping a single class it does its job, and it is a single class. GTB+FCP alone throws out, Wizzards, Magicians, Magic Stalkers, Professors, Priests and Ninjas. A whole branch of classes(magic branch) out with one single card. Not saying WS don't deserve pluses, they do. In WoE it isn't much of a issue; i can kill people in WoE with Magic; eveyone defaults Usa there, too many threats, gunslingers right in the gate with desperado, and champs asuraing left and right. During WoE GTB renders your survivability diminished, as opposed to a 1vs1 duel with a magic user. i'm well aware of the defensive capabilities of professors, that's usually all i can do in most occasions, but waiting is not good; time is of the essence in many scenarios, like LMS for instance, the longer you take to deal with one opponent, the larger the odds of having to deal with a couple more soon.
  2. i don't know Zero, the Ego is reason enough to WoE in most servers i've been. Also, i've been in servers with 1,5 k players in, in which donations where headgears with four slots +30~50 all stats and some gave skills like Heal/Blessing/Fire Bolt/Increase Agi Lv10. All fixed to your account, while in-game stuff was like...what you can find in iRo. No No-Donation Exclusive PvP rooms... ...and the server still having its 1,5k+ average players On-line community...hence why i think FRo is so great. Well i don't think Zodiac will ever change; it's a bummer donating for an item and having it changing after you did, it's like...false propaganda! xD So yeah it'll not change :3 And Emp changing again?...i'd rather not. And it's not that hard, nor that expensive donating. Not to mention it helps the server so... i mean with the money most players pay just to play on some servers, one could donate quite a bunch in a free server with donations...
  3. So ginkgo, you have nothing to lose either, you'll keep voting and eventually have all the vote items you possibly want in time, without needing to ditching anything. Just expand your collection ;3
  4. So they've gotten a Priest/WS NPC...big deal. Anyone can still double account... The guild hideout HAS to have palpable advantages your know, they paid a massive ammount of coupons for that. And no, i'm not part of that guild xP
  5. Behold! i think Cirrus said everything to the matter. The voting items are nothing more than a reward for supporting our server, it doesn't take much. For less than a minute a day you can help the server and still have access to very good items. It is indeed a win&win situation. "The team that is winning needs no change." If anything, a suggestion regarding vote items should ask for more items to choose from.

About the charge arrow just asking someone who can do the coding! i'm not very well versed in this...(yet)...lol But with the chance present it already adds some chance on the game play, althought RSX still makes it pointless it's not everyone who defaultsa it! xD But yeah, freezing trap is very useless as it is, hence why if it was 100% it could be useful! Specially because freezing trap is invisible; some traps can't be seem by players if they didn't see the sniper setting them, which means, this trap could also enhance the value of snipers in WoE. But yeah...as it is...worthless :{ The only problem again would be coding. As far as i know, atk formulas can't be edited to allow a skill to be changed from its...roots. The final damage can be enhanced though, but your idea would be the ideal; allowing stats to better influence skills such as Blitz Beat and Falcon Assault would widen not only the arsenal but also the build flexibility.

Come on men...from his story, it's clear that he's probably a relatively new player here, cut him some slack! xD And what professors are...hnnn...let's see...they're magic users. Magic is their role and porpouse, they're magic. If Magic becomes nothing what is to become of them then? i'm sorry, but saying "GTB lol" and sitting while your four+ friends do all the playing isn't exactly my idea of fun or exemple of game skill for that matter. Just as watching 4+ on 1 matches...unless the 1 is winning then that's quite entertaining xP! i main professor(fave class), but i rather enjoy MvPing and hunting; monsters don't use GTB O__o Playing prof VS someone with GTB+FCP is like playing soccer without a ball! Call me to PvP when professors have a fair chance on 1vs1 :3 *warps @go 25 or something*

    Yes, because when a professor has no way to damage but survives by using their safety wall+dispell its pure evil, but when sinx uses GTB and kills the professor with either EDP or coma it's like they're innocent bystanders... There might be other combinations with no counter...but none that i can recall throws out of the game a whole branch of classes... If you think debuffing null and magic damage null in separate cards would make professors overpowered, consider this; the card that would give debuffing immunity to be maya.... And...stave crasher? Anyone still takes that skill seriously? The only stave crasher i saw that is strong is a thana one and everyone knows that this card isn't exactly GTB in therms of availabilty/price. Seriously Stave Crasher manages to be weaker than Double Strifing...shorter in range, lesser in damage and far more inaccurate, still blocked by pneuma though. Edit; Not to mention, meelees do have this edge over magic users; upon noticing their damage is too small, they can try and coma and dispell the spell caster, forcing them to GTB then switching back to damage weapon when the timing's right. And afirming Safety Wall grants near immunity to meelee damage is not a truthful affirmation; it requires concentration and precision to properly use safety wall, any good player can force a mage out of safety wall when this mage is trying to strip them. And worse; as a sinx, one can easily use the safety wall for their confort and against its user.

  11. That's a good point too! That's why sometimes double Tao isn't all that great, but for Pallys it is still very important since it boosts Martyr's atk power, although Pallys hardly have any problem with ranged fighters; Defending Aura really reduces any ranged attack by a lot. Double Skel Worker+double TG can really hurt someone with -100 on the equipment def, good to keep that in mind.
  12. *Champ RSX+GTB Pneuma+Snap+Speed Asura/Investigate Pneuma on you+TSS them with verters *LK double Skolls+double tao+Fshield of defending Charge Attack+Bowling Bashs galore Spear Boomerang Don't forget to joint beat them with every level for extra fun. *Pally double Skolls+double Tao/RSX&tao+Fshield of deaf Defending aura+speed potions+Gloria domine(watch them waste yggs for sp) Use Martyr on them when you get close. *Prof skoll&sinx+tao&rsx+Fshield of defending Energy Coat+Wall of Fog+Fiberlock+Dispell+Cold bolt/Heaven's drive spam If they GTB...warp... lol *Priest skoll&sinx+Tao&RSX+Fshield of deaf&defending. Assumptio+Pneuma+Holy light spam If they GTB you can stay in your pneuma with your GTB ocassionaly using cloaking and singing "Can't touch me!" lol If the damage is still high don't be afraid of asking a friend priest for assumptio ^^ Get FCP for a better performance in avoiding that "oh damn...i'm striped!" or "armor broke!" The astronomic damage AV does usually comes from thana users mostly, it isn't all that powerful if they don't use it, so use skolls, snow cap and the new zodiac to lower that.

  14. Well i think it's because Full Strip and the other strip effects are debuffs, not meelee attacks ^^" Stripping already has an easy enough counter that is the Full Chemical Protection. SW does its job very well, it could use more duration though oO
  15. Problem is that i don't know if Charge Arrow can actually be programed to have 50% chance of working on Pneuma! i think it's either work...or not! But well the idea remains there for the worst hypothesis. The freezing trap is kinda nutsy, i didn't find any data on its duration or chance of success. Even testing in game it is a very unreliable skill because of its random way to behave. Although i believe any stats from the caster or the target don't affect it, traps have the tendency of ignoring almost everything normal skills take in consideration. Like Claymore trap and Land mine that ignore racial and size reduction cards/items, too bad their damage suck for high rate...once again. Well if you really think DS is okay in therms of damage, maybe a good revamp on Blitz Beat and Falcon Assalt could help, even if their damage was to be rised over tenfold, both are fixed on normal property so can still be very reduced, still getting to about only 70k(for a good sniper falconer vs no GR)if rised this much. i mean fighting using only 2~3 skills is kinda lame...broadening the spectrum of attacks that can be used can add some fun to the play. Maybe Fucused Arrow Strike being able to activate without a target(target the floor and it goes) would substitute the use of arrow shower to reveal. These are just sketchy ideas btw xD
  16. Based on the topic's name; Emperium Aura did get changed when Fallen Ghost Aura came out. It's already great that the server provides means for one who never donates to achieve fair chances. To me, donations, voting rewards and items obtained in-game should be eye no eye. To keep each other in check; If donations are too powerful, it gets frustrating knowing that one who has money will always have the upper hand. If in-game items are too powerful it happens what we have here; super-price inflation of items in-game.
  17. i guess having a chance of arrow repel working on someone in pneuma would be something...better than sit and cry i guess xD Freezing trap could be 100%, that could give a third useful trap. Overall damage output of snipers are still low though. Can't shake the fact that DS is far too weak.

    i just believe everything should have a possible counter, and GTB+FCP has no counter whatsoever for a magic user such as a prof and wizzard. Two cards separate for magic damage null and debuff null, would give magic users the same edge meelee VS meelee have; when a sinx sees the opponent's Usa reducted his damage too much, he puts on Edge to try and coma the opponent. The same principle applies; someone used GTB to null the magic damage, the prof/wizz/priest can try and coma the opponent. Magic Classes operate in two ways; Debuffing and Magic Damage. When you have a single card that kills both competences at once, it killed the whole concept of the class.

This topic is interesting, too bad it hasn't many inspirational stories yet! xD i still pretty much suck so i can't tell anything that much nice xD! i still remember the first time i tanked a full asura and survived ahhh good times! before i just went full reflect and just dragged them with me...i liked going to pvp and running away from everyone and just left Champs get close! XD i also liked going PvP with a full surviving Stalker and full stripping people untill i got the FCP message and was like "my work here is done! they used FCP so now i can sell more glistening coats!" returning to keep stripping them after 6 minutes or so... LOL Getting a pro sinX/champ friend and forcing people to GTB so the friend can kill faster is also fun :3 "ganger noobs!" cracks me up until today! xD The only hint i have is...don't break rules or try to scam anyone, instead try to obtain your stuff on your own, and avoid taking shortcuts such as begging for items or making friends just to get powerful, just enjoy their company instead, it's much more gratifying this way :3 And no matter what happens you'll still have a clear slate, i think that's what most important in the end. Flow like water, even if not strong, ever constant and never giving up, keeping your cool and adapting to circunstances, doing your thing and having fun :3 It's just a game after all xD

  21. Well Adum, i really do see your point, snipers can and should use more strategy and running is not the wrong way to play as sniper at all. But, out of all the large arsenal of traps, only two remain useful; Anckle Snare and Skip Trap. One defeated by Snap and BackSlide, main skills of those who are your usual adversaries. And Skip Trap becomes useless when someone used RSX(90% of the server and i'm included always carry a spare RSX armor). The objective of PvP is defeating the adversary, and with abundance of yggs, a low damage output can be easily out-healed. A descent average PvP built character should have at least 200k HP, if you hit shielded people for 16~20k(average damage for a good non-thana user sniper's DS) that's 10~14 DS you'd have to land to kill...off course untill you press 10~14xHotkey+click, the adversary will press his/her ygg hotkey at least once. And probably the Cloaking/Snap/BackSlide/Hide/Chase Walk/Pneuma/Charge Attack/TSS along to boot. It gets worse if you imagine you're being ganged and can't use GTB/Usa... i don't see much fairness in this scenario. Just had to quote this for epicness and truth! xD

    i've actually read something interesting here for a change...good job leonin. Even though with the buffs with tao gunka and elite weapons wizzards and profs have became more of a significant force, gtb still needs a way around, even if managing the card has became more bearable, FCP still turns wizzies and profs into sitting ducks. Maybe, Keep GTB with its magic damage immunity since this will never change. But give to another shield card the ability to block skills such as Dispell, Quagmire, Decrese agility, COMA... This would force people to swap shields as the magic users swap strategy and vice-versa. Giving some chance against gtb+fcp on a fair match. There you have some strategy instead of the no-brainers "spam this spell" and "equip just this card and you are safe"
  23. i do believe getting no damage boost is unfair; Snipers fight using as a main attack a skill they've learned as archers. That's just too sad on its own. On low rates Falcon Assalt pretty much hit kills anything that isn't a Lord Knight or Paladin, but the skill suffers from a fixed formula which makes it worthless for a high rate, which indicates they deserve a stronger attack move. Ranged Damage is incredibly penalized; Comparing SW with Pneuma you already get the notion of how biased the game mechanics are towards meelee. Charge Arrow/Arrow Repel does by pass pneuma on official servers, for obvious reasons. Although the greatest penalty for a sniper's damage is the Vit, giving Inca the property to bypass Vit and equip def when compounded in a bow would greatly help snipers in therms of damage. They could be given the ability to use Ganbaiten; pneuma really screws snipers over, Clowns can still use Tarot when someone uses Pneuma, snipers can...cry? Another funny upgrade would be the ability to use Beast Strifing in demi-humans...giving some utility to their spirit... BTW Snipers don't have a great amount of HP and don't use shield; they die faster than wizzards. i dare say; snipers are the most underpowered class at the moment...how the mighty have fallen.

    As i always say; the more the merrier. And there's not much WhiteSmiths around, i can only believe a whitesmith is "fine as it is" when they can carry their weight against any other without needing a card such as Thana to come anywhere near being descent. i don't have much experience as whitesmith; i don't play with any meelee-focused class(except sinx). But i take the word of those who like it and want to main it on the same level of the others. So i'm in for this suggestion, i'm afraid i can't help by adding ideas because of my lack of experience in this class. Based on theoric knowledge, i can assume they are indeed at disadvantage; *Their HP formula isn't the ideal for a tanker class. *Their main attack(CT) is fixed on a formula for lowrates, seeing the weight of the cart doesn't change for low to high rate and it can't extract the full potential of many MvP cards that became universal for high rate standards. *Their custom card helps; but it isn't as versatile and still inferior to the 50%+damage, universal in therms of skills, FBH gives. *Their main advantages for low rate include aspd improving buffs; that is nagated when anyone can have max aspd easily. *FCP cripples their other main utility; breaking gear, and WS card gives this ability of theirs to whoever wants it. *Their skill HammerFall, doesn't work seeing everyone is immune to status ailments, believe me, this greatly cripples their game play from everything i experienced when facing WS in low rates. *They have nothing in range going in ther favor; Throw Tomahawk doesn't even come close to Soul Break, Grimtooth, TSS, Spear Boomerang... *And to finish completely killing the concept of the class; in high rates, their forging ability is totally useless. So yeah...pretty screwed. i totally support boosting them.
  25. No way. Stalkers are starting to become a decent class after a long run being screwed over and someone already cries nerf... The server is to be better and balanced and that's precisely the reason why some of the underpowered classes are getting deserving boosts, and about time too. No offense, learn more about one class to complain about it.
