  2. Yea... I don't really see the issue with this since as is you can't really hit more than a set of 4 as far as sonic blow goes. If you want to talk about spam lets talk about those clowns and gypsy who can still get 5+ sets those still make me laugh. In any case sonic blow is fine no need to really change it since as people said the damage is high enough that you don't need to spam more than a set of 4 to kill 90% of players anyway.

  4. The quests that exist now for the gear you get is 1000 times better than what it used to be. Back in the old days the balance between those who donate and the ones who didn't were so big that the people were forced to donate just to survive. Not to mention even be able to farm on any map, hell MVP's were almost completely out of the question as well. Even with the vote gear or the knight set you can still compete on some level with people that have donate gear. It might seem like a lot but 1,000 chivalry emblems for the knight set is nothing compared to the 3k of one card + 3k of another card + 2 MVP cards for a set that gave you 2 slots and no major bonus unlike the knight set. The quests you see here might seen sorta difficult but it's not all that bad once you get the hang of the commands and the play style required to really farm the quest items.
  5. I have seen this as well but only in renewal servers. I played one server where you used the vending skill and it gave an option for well in this case it would be "Tokens" and "Zeny" to choose from and after that it was the standard vending layout. Not sure if it can be done in a full pre renewal server though. I'm game for it though it would help a lot to people with a lot of stuff to sell.
  6. Pretty much everything here and on top of that if the elements were to be added then that's a fuck ton of more scripting that has to be done. It's not really worth it in the long run.
  7. Yea... it was his own fault for having the @warp on his hotkey bar in the first place. GM's don't need to flag the map because of a fault of the player. Just be more aware of your hotkeys.
  8. Or you could just remove @storage from your alt M hotkey bar or even type it out while on a map you could potentially warp out of...
  9. Vanberk cards are pretty useless to a sinx since you can get the 100 crit cap without much issue. Probably better to use gemini cards instead since you will get stone curse immune.
  10. Any chance you can give a reason for the -1? Sort of defeats the purpose if you just -1 a topic without giving any real reasoning behind it... After all this is supposed to be discussions about implementing changes that can benefit the server, more ideas the better.
  11. I have noticed a lot of people donate and it takes them a while to get the items they donated for, so why not add an NPC to redeem it for them like the vote redeemer. It could even be based off the same format and you could donate through the CP. Then the GM's wouldn't have to worry about people getting their donates since the NPC would take care of that for them.

  13. If you use 2 vanberks and 2 seyren cards you get stone cursed, which means you don't do any damage at all and have no shot at breaking. Breaker doesn't need maya purple at all since they are just breaking, vanberks are meh they HELP but they aren't really needed since you really need to have the stone immune more than +2 str or crit. As a breaker you should be running over 270 str, any less and you lose too much damage to really be effective. That being said sinx have a very high vit->HP mod so they can still get really high HP even with less vit. Along with that your luk shouldn't need to be higher than 80 with an original crit sword. Your card choice for a full breaker is bad since TG's granted they give 20% damage boost, every time they use magnum break you lose damage to the emp since your weapon becomes fire 1 for a short period of time and the emp is holy you deal less damage. That being said you can use 2 abysmal knight cards per weapon and it will stack for 100% increase damage. This will not work if you use all 4 in the same weapon so you have to spread them out. If you use 4 abysmal knight, 2 the paper, 1 orc skeleton and 1 desert wolf you will get a higher percent damage than any other card combo. The reason you want to use orc skeleton is because even when you have the double gloom armor on you will only get 80% bonus damage to holy and with orc skeleton you get 100%, damage will not stack above 100% so adding 2 orc skeletons is pointless. As far as your armors go you can use 1 GR+1 gloom and still have enough HP to tank asura as well as bolts and FAS if you really need to, it just takes a bit more of a cautious approach to play it this way, but you will get higher damage to the emp with this than using 1 tao and 1 GR.

Well it would be nice if you could just talk to the ticket changer NPC and have it convert it directly but that would take coding to check the storage and such which would be a pain, but I believe that 30,000 is the set cap for any given item in the storage so I'm not sure how this would play out.
  15. This will only drive the price down forcing people to farm more and more seeds just to make the same amount of tokens... It's pretty pointless in the long run when you really think about it. For instance per hour a person can get what 100-200 tickets easy. If the drop rates are doubled then that gives 200-400(depending on how fast you can convert the seeds to tickets), meaning that the price will drop regardless because people will still sell the tickets for the tokens they want and when they run out of tokens they will have no choice but to sell them at a lower rate. Thus flooding the market with seeds/C.speed tickets. Which will cause the economy to drop.

  18. It is possible to do there are other servers where items go from the NPC directly to the person's storage. Think renewal servers as the BG supplier Telma. It should be possible to select the items to go directly to the storage. It can act almost like the Telma NPC in such a way that it asks you if you want the items to be in your inventory or your storage, and then distributes the items accordingly.
  19. It won't be changed to a renewal client. The GM's already said that it would be too difficult to do it because every customization would have to be re-done via the renewal scripting which is different than the pre renewal scripting. However I am all for the renewal interface alone.
  20. I have not once seen @refresh used to reset a PVP timer and make someone invulnerable. Since you know about the ways to abuse NPC's and such then perhaps you could shed some light on it for the people who haven't used the command to abuse the NPC's and give some suggestions to fix the said NPC's?
  21. Cell lag as well as the knockback lag that you see when a lord knight uses bowling bash, a sniper uses charge arrow, or a champion uses push palm strike. When this happens there isn't anything that anyone can do unless they are a sinx or a stalker because they can simply use backslide. HOWEVER every other class has to simply use seeds or berries to stay alive without being able to attack back and wait for themselves to die, or stop using seeds/berries altogether and just die. This can happen on any map with knockback. This has been an ongoing problem, as such the potential for abuse(this is the first server I have ever been to that has claimed there's potential for abuse for this command) depending on what could be abused the NPC's or whatever else that has the potential to be abused.

If that's the case then it should probably just be left as a vit->HP mod since a magic build linker won't use G ferus, or GEC, but will instead use FBH, and the tao would only really be used by the magic build for the HP boost, but if it was used on the vit build linker it could provide too much of an HP boost.
  23. Then perhaps those specific features should be adjusted because the addition of this command far outweighs the potential abuse of a handful of features that can be changed. I have been on many servers and haven't seen the command really abused, but I suppose some testing should be done before adding it.
  24. Remove the requirement of cart boost for cart terminate. I have spoken to a lot of people who have played whitesmith and they all have swapped to LK because if a WS is dispelled they have to recast everything just to deal damage, as well as deal with the dec agi, quagmire and dispel completely nulling their ability to deal damage.
