I saw this and elevated it. This at least indicates this part of the quest is still functioning properly though, so that is why I'm guessing a faulty item ID is in there.

Try checking the different item IDs. The damp stuff drops from chimera for example, but also has a different source. Make sure to have the right one.

The botcheck usually catches 95-99% of the bots. Shouldn't need to worry about that, the few that get through can be reported in our ticket system and we'll take care of them that way. Automation and botting are two entirely different things. The work smart, not hard thing won't work here either. The rules state that no form of automation is to be used, neither macro-keyboards. However the latter is harder to control than the first. Reasons why things could be easier/nicer et cetera do not apply here, we don't allow it to maintain a more realistic economical system, one that matches in real life where people work for their stuff. Bots would indeed devalue EVERYTHING besides the few MvP drops perhaps, which will cause more inflation. Your suggestion that it would be easier for new players is completely false, older players who would've botted for months have hoards of items stacked up in their storages/carts and thus will undercut everything that new players attempt to sell. They'll still not make any money and will lose motivation to play this server. For those reasons bots aren't allowed either. A more veterinary player will almost always have an advantage to new players, that's just the way it is supposed to be. You can take a shortcut by donating OR you can farm/quest and earn your items that way. There is no unbalanced system present here, as all items are available to anyone, rich and poor in real life. All that is required is dedication and motivation, perhaps some buddies to help you out. So no, bots don't fit in this picture, not in Forsaken RO. - Closed.

Might have overcomplicated things.. I assumed you were running Windows. Also, could you post a screenshot of your Gravity Image? I'm confused as to what you mean.

First please update your client through the forsaken-ro patcher. Second, if you haven't installed this game via our all-in-one installer, I advise you do this by all means. If the problem still exists because you entered a renewal map, then kindly reset your character position & looks from the control panel.

The usual approach to this is changing the settings in the setup.exe that is in your RO folder and check the fullscreen checkmark. -- The not so nice way to fix this will be through the registry. Caution though, I am not responsible for anything that could happen to your computer because of things that could go wrong. Press windows + R to open the run window and type: regedit Then navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gravity Soft\Ragnarok There you'll see data named ISFULLSCREENMODE, which is of the REG_DWORD type. Most likely the value is 0 (0x0000000), for fullscreen you'll want this to be 1. Double click on the data's name and change 0 to 1, press OK and you're done. RO should now be enforced in fullscreen mode.

Since you're being a little bit unspecific I'll take the broad approach to solve this. Go to https://forsaken-ro.net/cp and log-in, go to "My account", select the character that is having issues and reset character position. To do this, you must not be in-game. If the problem persists, make sure you have the all-in-one installed and not just the small patcher in your general RO folder. Our server is highly customised and requires the files we give to you, without these, a lot more error are going to pop-up.

I don't know heha, like I said in my previous post, file a ticket so I can elevate it to the administrators. They'll be able to either clarify why it was done and if it was a mistake they can fix it and revert it to the original script.

Is it just the description or do you also actually notice this in-game by not being able to spam your Meteor Storm anymore ;p? And all updates are carried out by Genesis in general, so you could file a ticket in the bug report section I assume.

As far as I'm aware it came when we implemented Satan Morroc a long time ago ;p I even had some diabolus items lingering around if memory serves me right. But why would this be harmful? Snipers had a sniping suit which also reduced skill delay.

Wouldn't see why it would be OP for a melee weapon. It won't even do much damage while using melee =P

That seems a fair idea to me, however, this would require a dagger that also has the increased weight limit. People wouldn't want to donate for one, so we'd need to create a Legendary Sniper Dagger or something and have stats suggested for it, you know the drill by now ;p

14 Scam/hack reports within a week is quite alarming though. People just don't understand what we post at all. Just read the title of the topic, be like, yea yea and still get scammed. We do our best to prevent things like this, but you are responsible for your own actions & accounts. More awareness is need and it is very helpful to (new) players and sometimes even older players who fall for the new dirty tricks. Sadly not enough players use the forums and don't pay enough attention to our broadcasts.

It is difficult for GMs to host this as people always complain about how 'biassed' the teams are, no matter the means of formation. I've performed a few /dice formation LTS when I was hosting it alone. It would be ran based on even/uneven numbers and depending on the outcome you'd be in team 1 or 2. Still people complain that things were unfair done or unbalanced. In all honesty, it can be hard to measure the value of a player and we don't know how good everyone is. Especially since the PvP room is quite dead and no one measures their strength like that anymore. The time organising the event and the appreciation afterwards just doesn't feel good enough for us to host this. Example, we only get 3-5 tokens, why not more? Well, consider 15 players in a party -> 45-75 tokens spent. People are too selfish for us to consider these things on a frequent basis as players became less appreciative, more selfish and expect too much gain for no return at all. -
If you're able and willing to make 550 palettes for the jackets, I think it could be nice.

Due to people 'KSing' the MvP this room has been implemented. To make it less easier to farm a variable for the spawn of the room could be used instead of a timer instead. This is what I'd see as the only viable replacement for the current system. Going back to the old system will just do more harm than good.

Sadly the strip would be bound to the formula in the source and that isn't an option. As it would possibly ruin the strip stalkers are performing and it originally is their skill. However, if it could be tweaked for just level 1 strip, this wouldn't impact stalkers, as they perform it at a higher level. Snipers aren't reliant on a strip passive on their bow. Back in the days, using a dagger was even easier, as the strip range is melee range anyway and swapping to dagger meant also having a shield. Now Snipers can have the bow & shield at the same time. Strip can still be used by using strip cards in your bow (still same range as melee) or go dagger (which is melee). The end result would be the same, but the means to get there would be different. One argument might be that they won't be able to deal such high damage while stripping and that's the only viable argument for this. If you want to prevent stripping, get FCP.

I like where this is going and most of it is valuable feedback. This idea could be merged with the token sink topic if both are accepted as one implementation project. Aerynth made a point though, seeing how much people will eventually pay for those guild hideouts, I could understand making those seed/berry/speed room for free. You need to think about 1-5k bids just to have access to this minor advantage. He didn't mention that the flags outside the castle have to be disabled so players could still use that mechanic, it'll just require an additional warp. But when you've got your savepoint in the hideout, you waste a little bit less time on returning to your castle. I think Drew has some valuable points to keep in mind too, but the benefits aren't that superb that people will massively migrate to a guild. The players want salary and this room will neglect that fact, due to the cost of this minor benefit that guilds will have. So I'm not really afraid of people massively joining the guild who owns it. In the end, it is still up to the guild leader/officers to invite people into their guild. For the MvP room, 3 forsaken tokens equals about 75-90 million, if not a little bit more. So the cost is actually already more than the original price. This seem easier accessible due to the token currency, plus sinks some of the token pool by a small margin. Some of you might have missed that a requirement is to have a castle in order to bid on it (at the time of the bidding). This should increase the competition between guilds quite a bit or perhaps indeed make people massively join another guild, who knows what counts more. Agi/bless and spending tons of tokens for it, or being loyal to your friends & guild members, saving up for the next bidding.
