Optional: On windows 8 make sure you disable full screen mode at the setup as full screen mode does not cooperate with windows 8 very well. If the above doesn't work you might be using opensetup.exe which will require you to click on a small button on the bottom left of the setup to change from LUA to REG.

Changing the skill so it adds attack for every point is a skill edit. What I mean with expanding it is giving the bonus not only to the top 10 but for instance to the top 50. So the class gets more popularity in general.

Silver kiels have some effect on it but obviously not as much as regular kiel cards. I haven't had any trouble spamming ninja skills with the regular kiel cards. Keep in mind that the silver cards are there as a step between having nothing and being decently geared. They will help you to hunt more effectively and gear up faster. They're not there to overtake the regular mvp cards' places.

To clear some doubts in this topic: 1: The tripple HP and SP and infinite kicks are a bonus only given to the top 10 rankers as long as the ranker is above level 90. 2: We normally don't do skill edits so it's better if we could look into item changes or custom items for the basic taekwondo class. (If you have any suggestions for changes to current items etc, feel free to share). 3: I personally feel like the taekwondo top has been a big burden for anyone wanting to start a taekwondo ranker these days. A lot of the top 10 rankers are long gone and I personally feel like the top should be resetted or better yet expanded. Expanding it however would require a skill edit as well. TK rankers should never bypass the damage of a star gladiator. The ranker is supposed to be the more constant (less bursty) damage dealer that is a lot tankier than the star gladiator and able to fight all targets instead of just 3 classes.

Welcome Squid, To ease your mind there's no pay to win on this server. All donation items are tradeable and can thus be obtained from other players. There's quest sets that are easy to obtain and are very similar to the default donation set. Aside from that there's a vote set with the exact same effects as the default donation set. The vote set however is not tradeable so it's locked on your account. This is to prevent people from voting on a ton of accounts (votes only count once per IP per 12h). If you're willing to work you can definitely compete. And if you're less of a quester there's always vote and activity rewards. You gain activity tokens by simply staying online (relogging or changing characters resets the timer). Regards, Bishop

Not sure what you mean with the above but the tao gunka effect was manually modified for each class for balance purposes. So yes, it is intentional.

These classes are counterparts to the third jobs (renewal). There's no intention of implementing these at this moment.

I think most of you here have drawn a correct conclusion. I'll just try to explain a few things to clarify everything and leave a few suggestions. First and foremost, ping is mostly dependant on distance. Increasing your internetspeed will (most of the time) not reduce your ping. A 5 mb/s connection from one town can have the same ping as a 100 mb/s connection from the same town. ping shows how much time it takes for your command to reach a server, it is unrelated to the bandwith you get. Second, how come distance increases ping? As explained earlier ping describes how much time it takes from your command to reach the designated server. In order for your command to reach the right server it passes through many other servers. These servers are called hops. The more hops you have the higher the ping, hops often vary in quality as well. How come some countries that are closer to the server have higher ping than other countries that are further away? There's several factors for this. It mostly has to do with the country's ISPs. In particular which hops these providers use. Changing ISPs can change the hops your connection is taking, which can improve or worsen your ping. Secondly there's data limitation but this doesn't affect ping as much as your actual internet speed. Now onto ways to lower the ping: 1: Changing your own physical location aka moving closer to the server (Not a VPN) 2: Changing the servers location, we'd have to find a central location for both the US and Asia , it'd probably be somewhere at eastern Europe. Unfortunately changing server locations is easier said than done. Its also a downside for when issues occur. Not to mention that eastern europe probably doesn't have the quality in datacenters/hosts that US servers have. 3: Use a rerouting program (by far the best option). I've seen you guys call these VPN software but that does not quite cover their use. A VPN program is there to reroute your connection through a VPN server to hide your IP. These programs however are not there to hide your IP, they change your route instead and let's you use optimized hops to get lower ping. My personal experience is that pingzapper is amazing, wtfast and battleping have effect as well but are a lot less stable. Though it is said that wtfast has more effect with regular pings above 300. Also you can use free trials of these programs , they will be limited time and most likely server wise but it should help some still.

Did you install our server through the all-in-one installer?

Have you tried running the patcher? If so, try downloading the small installer and install it into your new RO folder that you have already made. Overwrite all when it asks, then run the patcher again and see if you can log in.

Our very first sets are meant to support you while leveling. Hence the effects diminish once you reach level 200 :).

The bonus HP you get depends on what class you are. It's not a bug it's intentional.

This is a cosmetic issue with the chance of wrecking a lot more than it's good for. RayRay is correct when it comes to the differences between the donation (king) set and the vote set. There is none stat-wise. The only difference is that you can wear the legendary headgears with the donation one and not with the vote one. If you want to limit this to the only difference being the donation set having LTD headgears and the vote set doesn't then I think you overestimate how many people have LTD headgears. Since the vote items right now have the same effects as the donation set, and the donation set only adds fashion, I do not feel like newer people are in any disadvantage. Hence I'll have to disagree with this suggestion. Keep in mind that this is just my personal view on the matter :)

Hmm your screenshots might still be around. Are you using windows 8 or windows 10?

It's impossible to 'locate the mvp spawn' through any third party tool. It is possible that a third party tool is warping/porting around to find the mvp. We have an automated bot check and frequent manual checks to get rid of any bots.

Again, this has nothing to do with strategy guides and will only provoke flame wars. Closing this.
