Yes there is an element system in RO. you can look up most monsters at ratemyserver.net and see their element + what elements will work good on them :)

The 'second' ping as you call it is simple imput time/imput lag. it's a hardware delay, not called ping (at least what you described is not called ping). Either way the right answers have been given in this topic. Ping if the time it takes for your PC to send a packet to the server AND receive an answer back (pong). This time is measured in mili seconds. In order to lower your ping there's quite a few things you can do. However some ways will work for you others won't. Ways that pretty much always work : 1: Move closer to the server. 2: Upgrade to a better ISP or internet plan (Keep in mind that more MB/s does NOT equal lower ping) 3: If your ping is 300 or higher you will definitely see improvements with Wtfast which brings me to another possible option. Possible options not guaranteed to work. 1: Blocking out specific hops in the route-table. 2: Contacting your ISP, there's multiple options they can change that could improve your ping. Though it'd be way too technical to name them all and some ISPs will not be willing to help you out. Other ways that I can think of are mainly for windows xp or older. As the newer windows versions have most of the connection settings already optimized for the regular user.

Set up the setup.exe in both normal mode and administrator mode. There's already like 30+ topics regarding this.

Set up your setup.exe in both administrator mode and none administrator mode. At the top bar select your graphics card At the second bar select your resolution. (if your resolution does not show up in both administrator mode and none administrator mode then you have to install DirectX and update your graphic card drivers). Click on OK Do the above 3 steps in BOTH normal mode and administrator mode. If the above doesn't work run setup.exe in compatibility mode from Windows XP or windows 7.

When you install the game onto your desktop (a fresh folder) by using our all-in-one installer. What messages do you get and when exactly do you get them ? During the installation ? While starting FkenRO.exe ? while running the patcher? If possible include some screenshots so I can see what's in your folder as well. PS. Don't try to run our server with a diffed client or a client from another server. It will cause trouble.

The lua error is caused by you missing the artificial intelligence files from homunculus and mercenaries. The nil value is caused by the client not reading the grf file. Easiest way to solve all your problems would to be to just download our all-in-one installer. You won't require anything else aside from that to play our server.

We are a renewal server. You're erroring because you don't have the renewal files. You will have to either download the renewal files form rms, or download the all-in-one. You won't be able to play errorless on a kro/sakray folder as you will error from every newer renewal sprite such as some of the NPCs in the quest room.

Europeans right now WoE at 2 to 3 AM in the morning not 12 to 1. I'm not sure if you took that into your calculation but the WoE times for europeans are quite bad atm (except for the monday one). US Woe's are 2 to 3 AM which can't be considered a decent time. And the friday WoE is during school/work times, WoE 2.0 is starting at 12 or 1 AM I believe. Changing the times as you mentioned would be fine in the weekends but it would take another european WoE away from the european players leaving all Euro WoE's to be at bad times for european players. Monday one right now seems fine for EU people, if it's changed to being earlier all europeans will be at school or work (just like the current friday EU-WoE atm). Also I completely disagree with having WoE every day. I see absolutely no reason for that and on top of that it would make the lifes of guildmasters a lot harder and less cost efficient. Could you elaborate for me which WoE time exactly you want to change ? Which day ? which one ? Or all of them ?

I thought he meant fbh in general. Using 2 thana's on 1 fbh would still be a waste. With the weapon bonus and 1 fbh + 1 thanatos you're already at a percentage that a second thanatos card won't be fully utilized.

Thanatos on champion does not stack with fbh. Meaning if you already use 2x fbh , thanatos card will do nothing.

I'll have to agree with Shino that even the Strike Eagle hardly does anything for priests atm. I'll also have to agree with the hit bonus suggested by Shino and an increase in damage (Not increase to demi human since fbh's will be equipped either way). Personally I would always use ifrit rings with a battle priest (and atm they are absolutely necessary to have any chance as a battle priest.) but due to the fact that you have to use ifrit rings you lose out on 80 strength and 2 accessory slots (comparing them to the newest accessories) and thus their base damage will be low either way.

The elite wepaon is 2 handed. The legendary ones are 1 handed. The necro hood only works with the 2 handed ones. Reasoning behind this is obvious I think. I'm unaware of any possible bugs with the necro hood. Please elaborate.

It always takes a while before the logs are updated. This because the pvp ladder logs are being checked to make sure none cheated during the week :)

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve but I'll answer your concerns. This does not make sense. The rule regarding impersonation has been there for years. This means the punishment depends on severity of your impersonation. You did not only make a character and copied the name. You also claimed that you were the real Artz. This makes your case severe when it comes to impersonation and thus you've been banned. This is a complete different case. Someone impersonated Taeyoung and the real Taeyoung accidentally got banned along with the impersonator, and thus the real one of course got unbanned. It'll always be possible to impersonate or attempt to scam. Nothing we can do about that. We already banned a lot of people, yes. That's a good thing. Abide the rules and you won't be banned. This is the third time I see you bashing on my fellow GM-Members including the new ones. Here's the bottom line: You broke the rules in a severe way. You were punished accordingly to the rules and there's no need or use in blaming members from the GM-team for your own rule-breaking. I'm closing this topic. Do not make another one regarding this issue.

We have no obligation to show the proof. Rest assured, bans like these are only done when there is sufficient proof. PHP is a very serious offense, as explained in your ticket. @masterneil. Bans have nothing to do with the pvp performance from a person, neither with the like-ness of the person. No matter how loved a person is, if they attempt to PHP they will be banned.
