  1. Hi, I already added it to the to do list... it should be fixed the next update! (:

  2. Even though some of the items you want haven't been added here yet, this server is one of the best in terms of "RO Fashion." We have really high quality custom items, many of which are made exclusively for us by our awesome Spriter team. We're always adding new items too! I'd recommend checking out the list of all the items we have and how to obtain them on our Wikipedia here. I already mentioned this in your other topic, but again, welcome to the server! I hope you'll enjoy playing here. We have a great community for the most part, and if you need any help, always feel free to get in touch with one of the GMs! We all have official GM emails at forsaken-ro.net and are available through the forums or in game by using @request. Happy playing! (:
  3. First of all, welcome to the server. (: I hope you'll enjoy playing here. Now in answer to your question, the economy is based on tokens. You can obtain tokens by participating in events/mini games and converting the event tokens to regular tokens, donating, trading/buying them from other players, or purchasing them for zeny. Unfortunately, the best items (Emperium auroras, Frigg's shield, Valkyrie weapons, rucksacks) are all rather costly. (I have a guide to average pricing that Seraphine made that I'll be adding to the wiki later today, most likely.) However, for a new player starting out, I'd recommend doing quests instead: Elite equipment, the Sun/moon aura, and quest rucksacks. All of these items are very good and about 10-5 stats less than their more expensive counterparts. This will be a good way to start off and save up tokens so that you can buy the better gear later on. MvP Cards sell for a decent amount of tokens here, ranging from 5-50 (on average). MvP card drops are 10%, with the exception of Thanatos, which is .01%. Consumable items like Yggdrasil Berry tickets etc. are also in demand here, though they do not sell for much. Not to my knowledge, no, since they're not hard to obtain. I hope this helped you. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me or add me to MSN at [email protected].
  4. I don't know that much about things like this, but I'm pretty sure that if 2 swords/daggers are equipped it'll just display the standard sword/dagger sprites. /:
  5. All of the weapons will be made indestructible. They were intended to be and it'll be fixed.

    Changes.

Thanks ya'll! Also, be sure to check out the new rules concerning PvP ladder cheaters here.
  7. From now on, the first time you are caught cheating in PvP ladder, you will be temporarily banned from the ladder for 2 months. You'll be given only one more chance and if you cheat again, you will be permanently banned from ladder. If you have cheated more than once already, it'll be reset to 1 offense, meaning if you are caught cheating again you'll be permanently banned.
  8. All of the weapons are available now in the Token shop and cost $30 USD each.
  9. Updated the effects to match what's listed in the Token Shop, everything should be accurate now. Sorry about that!
  10. Fixed.
  11. Added the creator weapon. Also, all weapons are one handed.

    Changes.

Things are going to be changing around here. We're going to be bringing in new GMs soon, but a lot of you have been very inactive as of late. We understand you are busy, but logging on for a little bit to host a few events should be manageable. We're not going to tolerate inactivity anymore. Apart from this, here are some other changes being made: 1) Seraphine is temporary head of PvP ladder until we find a permanent replacement. 2) From now on, you are not allowed to give out PvP ladder prizes unless the screenshots have been posted. 3) There's new guidelines on hosting events that everyone must read and fully understand. The most important are: You cannot host the same event back to back (make sure to check what the last event hosted was) You need to host as many different events as you can each week, preferably 1 of each event. (AKA, no more only hosting LMS or Dice, please!) 4) Communication between the staff needs to be improved. Make sure you have all of the other GMs (especially the Senior GMs, GM Leader, and Admins) on your list. Respond to this topic if you haven't already when this has been done. New rules, policies, and other information are being worked on and we'll be revamping the GM forums shortly. Please, please, please be sure to read everything thoroughly and make sure you fully understand this information. Respond here once you've read over anything, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

    Rop

We're going to most likely change the sprite of RoP, but to one that wouldn't cause issues for any classes. As is it currently, the RoP sprite looks fine and doesn't need to be changed for aesthetic reasons, though. - Rejected -
  17. As Noir pointed out, not enough people would participate in this event, I'm afraid. Hardly anyone participates in Annihilation as it is now, so it wouldn't be plausible to do something like this at the current time. I like the idea though. Thanks for the suggestion! - Rejected -
  18. - Accepted -
  19. The emperium auras will stay as they are now, sorry. Maybe we could add something like that as a new item... but it certainly wouldn't be high priority, and right now we're busy with other things. I'm going to reject this suggestion for the time being, but that doesn't mean it's being ruled out. Thanks. - Rejected -

    Soo Sad

You shouldn't be linking to or mentioning other server names. You don't need to provide proof here, we all know there's a lot of servers out there that have stolen our items. Sadly, there isn't much we can do. People copy us because we have the best looking customs of any server out there. If anyone else mentions any specific servers or links to them, this topic will be closed and your warn will be increased. Thanks for understanding! (:
  21. Moved to the proper section. (: That's a lot, I wonder who the person with the most is and how many they have...

    Lyris and Determination, can you both add me on your legits again, please? I didn't get your requests, only Decode's. Or you can PM me your emails and I can try to add you. My MSN acts up sometimes so sorry for the inconvenience. );
  23. Game Master Policies 1. Any GM who abuses will now not only be removed, but will also have their legit permanently banned. You've been warned, we will not make any exceptions. Abuse includes, but is not limited to: Checking where players are, telling other players the location of people, etc. Telling players if any other GMs are on. (Note that this means for cases of people wanting to cheat on the ladder and seeing if any GM is on watching. It is NOT the case for something such as "Hi, this GM is helping me with my ticket. I have questions for them. Are they on?" or "This GM was helping me earlier...are they still available?". Trading players (other than giving the appropriate amount of event tokens if they win an event. (see policy #2). Trading your legit on GM and visa versa. Recalling players (See policy #4). Taking any items from guild storage without logging it. Revealing the identities of other GMs. Buffing/devoing players. Attacking players (The only exception is in dice events. See #5 for more details.) Favoring another player or treating them differently because they are your friend or they aren't (See policy #6). Threatening players (e.g., "I'm a GM, and if you don't do this, I'll ban you.") Creating alternate characters on your GM account (Not even creating a character and then deleting it.You should have no reason to make alts.) 2. It is never acceptable, UNDER ANY circumstances, to trade/accept a trade from another player (including other GMs) any items whatsoever other than the correct amount of event coupons if a player wins an event. 3. Never publicly challenge another GM's decision on a case, punishment, etc. If you have a question about any action a GM has taken, bring it up with Wish, Justice, Veracity or Genesis. 4. Recalling players is no longer allowed. This includes recalling players to a map to speak with them privately. They can make a chat in the main town or at a help desk to speak with you. This rule especially applies to recalling players to the guild hideout as well as the middle of the dice room. Basically, there is never a need for you to recall players. The obvious and only exception would be if a player wins an event and you must recall them to another map to give them their Event Tokens. 5. GMs are NEVER allowed to participate in PvP on their GM characters. Players sometimes may ask for you to kill them, but DO NOT DO SO. EVER. This is not acceptable unless it is in a dice event. To avoid accidentally attacking another player, we recommend wearing a bow at all times and not having any arrows equipped. 6. Treat all players equally and fairly. Just because someone is your friend doesn't mean they deserve special treatment. This includes, but is not limited to: prioritizing a friend's ticket, aiding them in cheating, not punishing them if they break a rule(s), sharing information with them (e.g., from the to do list). This also applies the other way: if you do not like someone, don't treat them differently. Do not stretch a rule to punish someone/give them a harsher punishment if you don't like them, don't close their ticket if something can be done, etc. 7. You are not allowed to make up your own events. You can only host the current approved events and you may not alter them in any way shape or form. The approved events are: - LMS/LTS - Survival - Dice - Scavenger Hunt - Password (MUST BE RO RELATED) - Mind Breaker - Novice Dodge Ball (see the Event section on the forums for a full list). If you have any ideas for an event, you can discuss it with Genesis. Do not host it until Genesis approves it. Password events related to movies, music, etc. are not allowed any more. 8. GMs are never allowed to participate in any of their own events, whether they are merely helping other GMs or hosting themselves. The only exception to this rule is GvG. 9. If a GM goes to a WoE map or castle, they MUST provide a VALID reason. Any infractions of this will not be tolerated. Make sure you confirm it with a superior (through an offline message if necessary). 10. You are not permitted to reveal any information you may hear concerning future updates and releases. Doing so will result in removal from the staff. 11. You must be active on your GM for a minimum of 2-3 hours a day. You don't have to be hosting events the whole time, though! 12. When not hosting events, GMs are required to unhide in Forsaken City and interact with the community in a PROFESSIONAL manner or be available in prt_vlg00. Be sure to look out for new players and go out of your way to help them. It's also your responsibility to watch how our players treat anyone who is new: being rude to new players is not acceptable, and we're going to punish people for this. Make sure to take screen shots, verbally warn them, and log it *here.* 13. As a Game Master, one of your primary responsibilities is providing support for our players. This includes answering @requests and PMs from players. You're expected to answer questions to the best of your ability, but never make up an answer if you don't know. Just be honest and say "I'm sorry, but I don't have an answer to your question. I'd recommend posting it on the forums and one of the other staff members or players should be able to help you." Code of Conduct 1. We want to involve players as much as possible in the server. When dealing with players, being rude is NOT an option. While we feel that "the customer is always right" is a good policy, there are instances where a player may be wrong. If so, politely disagree. This is especially true in suggestion topics: do not outright say no, instead, try something along the lines of: "I think the idea is interesting, but I don't think this may be the best way to accomplish this," or "I don't think this would be suitable for our server at the given time," etc. Always, always, always be polite to players. Take the time to listen to what any player may have to say to you. This should go without saying. 2. Be mindful of your behavior at all times. We encourage the staff to be as friendly as possible, however, there are times where this behavior becomes inappropriate. You should never be publicly flirting with players, whether it is in game or on the forums. We do not want to foster any accusations of bias or unfair treatment; our goal is to treat all players equally and behave in a professional manner. (e.g., <3s, I love you, etc. If you're unsure, the best policy is just to do it on your legit). 3. Your behavior on your legit character reflects on the server. Since it's not a secret who many of you are, we expect you to comply with all of the rules of the server. As they say, "with great power comes great responsibility". 4. Do not flaunt your power or ever threaten another player. This is not suitable behavior for a staff member of Forsaken Ragnarok Online. You were hired to help players, not to be on a power trip. If any issues arise, this will be revised periodically. It's your responsibility as a GM to be familiar and up-to-date with this; ignorance is not an excuse. You will be held accountable whether the changes are announced or not.

    Forums.

I think it's because the server was newer back then, so people still had a lot to talk about on the forums, etc. Nowadays, it seems like everything has already been said/discussed (at least for the older players, I'd imagine), so maybe that's part of the reason why?
