Can you explain exactly what you're trying to include in your profile? I know I used to receive this error if I was including url codes. However, I believe this was fixed as I and a few other people who had the same problem are no longer experiencing the issue.

In order to get the Witch's Medal, you do not have to do the quest. It's not enabled here. Instead, we added it to a mob that drops at a low percent to make the Halloween quest more of a challenge. I hope that helped! if you have any further questions, feel free to PM me.

I just wanted to add we are working on fixing the voting and wiki. We're waiting to hear back from a coder about the voting center and we've filed a ticket with our host to resolve the redirection issues with the wiki. We've already stated multiple times that we will provide compensation for the voting being down.

Like, it's fine because we can see what your name is. As long as your character name is somewhere on the screen so we know, it's fine, but all future entries should try to have the mouse over the character to show the name. Great entries so far ya'll! Can't wait to see more. (:

The black emp will be released again once we find a good event to replace Annihilation. We had no choice but to make that item unavailable for the time being since we had to get rid of Annihilation.

I suppose you can, but the idea is you make up your own costume combination using existing items/palettes/hairstyles etc. You can come up with a costume based off of mobs, as some people did last year. You could base your costume off characters from anime, movies, video games, books, or anything else you like. Or, it could just be a traditional halloween theme like ghosts, goblins, all that fun stuff. Either way, it's totally up to you. We're looking for originality and effort though, so if you do use a disguise, it would very likely hurt your chances of winning. You can however pose with mobs/pets/npcs or whatever you'd like though.

In the Halloween spirit, we have decided to offer a contest for players to combine pallets, hair styles, and headgears in a screenshot to illustrate the best theme or the most Halloween spirit! This topic will remain open from now until October 31st, 2011. The number of winners depends on the number of participants, so get as many people to participate as you can! I think I've seen one before, I'm not sure if it's an official one or not though, but it looked neat.

I'm sure there's lots of tutorials floating around on how to use the programs too. It's definitely worth trying! I'm sure you can make something awesome. Keep in mind we're also looking for creativity, not just technical skills since we want to be fair to everyone. I'd really encourage everyone to give it a shot. I think all of the entries we have so far are great too and am hoping to see more! (:

There's lots of programs out there, Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects are popular ones. You can probably download trial versions of the program somewhere and use those. You should come back and play then! (:
