    Supernovice

This has already been suggested multiple times and was rejected. It is not a pressing addition... Supernovices have other options, especially with the new weapons that were added. - Rejected -

    Ladder

Theoretically, pvp is "free for all." People just choose to work together in groups because it's more effective. Yea, it's annoying but... there isn't much you can do about it. Even in events where we don't allow parties, people still work together. Honestly, there is really nothing that can be done to avoid this. - Rejected -
  3. This has already been done seeing as Annihilation is hosted on Thursdays now. - Accepted -

    Ruck Sacks

Changing the effects of ruck sacks is not necessary, though I do like the idea. However it would just allow all classes (even the ones who do not need it) to be able to carry more ygg berries, etc. I agree it would be beneficial for farming and doing quests, but there is no way to prevent people from using it for other things. Not to mention, it takes away from classes whose elite weapons increase their weight limit. There is a good chance that we are adding gears for newer players with the specific purpose of assisting in farming/questing. though, so that will help! We just won't change the effect of ruckies. - Rejected -

    Glacier Fist

Champs do not really need any sort of boost or anything that would make asuraing players any easier than it already is. - Rejected -
  6. She was referring to what was posted in the topic: Wish and I developed the items together... the LK halberd is supposed to have coma.
  7. While in theory that's true, people still get very upset if donation items are nerfed. Not to mention, it's not exactly courteous to those who do support the server and keep it up so everyone can continue to play here... About the LK weapon... it is supposed to have coma on it. If it doesn't, that should be fixed. I know some people are opposed to the reductions, but that doesn't necessarily mean we are going to change it. A lot of people are opposed to almost anything that is new or changes game play slightly (look at every other update and how everyone claims it is 'OP' when it's released). Two people who both main stalkers came to an agreement about 10% reduction and 10% damage increase. I see this as a suitable compromise and I'm pleased they were both mature enough to come to it in the first place. However, more than two people's opinions need to be considered in changing the effects of the weapon... which is why I'm asking the community for their input/feedback about that specific effect. Also, there is a difference between testing a weapon and using it on your main character. It would be nice to hear more from both sides, especially those who play stalker as their main or who are at least on it quite a bit.
  8. People have already suggested this before. It's not exactly plausible nor is it necessary... it would require quite a bit of work to do and the issue is only a minor inconvenience. Twice, doesn't this sort of defeat the purpose of it being a guild storage? - Rejected -
  9. This would come with the move to the Renewal client/mechanics and implementation of new classes, if that ever happens. You'll have to wait until then. - Rejected -
  10. I think it would be unlikely that the reductions would be removed all together (since people did donate for that effect in particular). What I would like to know now is how other players feel about instead making the weapon 10% reduction to demi human and 10% increase in damage. You can also suggest whatever percentage you feel is more acceptable and why.
  11. Suggestion 1: There is no need to do this. As other players have already said, just use /dex + x, /str+ x, etc. Suggestion 2: There really isn't enough feedback for this. If players want this changed, make a new suggestion for it. - Rejected -
  12. This is not feasible. Whether it's possible or not, it would not be easy to do. If you don't want people to log in your account and take your items, don't have an easy to guess password and don't give out your information to anyone. - Rejected -

    Elite Quest

This was suggested before. Either way, I don't really think this is necessary. There are more important things to be done... not to mention the new weapon for super novices will help those who wish to play this class. - Rejected -
  14. This event would require quite a bit of work to do. Considering our staff right now, I don't think this is a viable option at the moment. This sounds similar to poring ball though... perhaps we could look into fixing this event instead? We'll see! :) Anyways, this event suggestion is... - Rejected -
  15. Now, now. Even though you don't agree with him doesn't mean you need to go calling him an idiot. You should always be respectful of other players. Anyone who flames or insults another player in this topic will be warned after this. With that being said, just because you think the weapons are "OP" and should be removed doesn't mean they're going to be. At first a lot of players thought they were, but so far people have become more accepting of them. Like nines said, you can only equip one sinx sword. You should give them some time before saying how OP they are. And no, a poll was not necessary, nor is it your place to be saying something like that.
  16. Why would you want headgears without effects? Many people already find the vote rewards not worth getting due to their effects... Can you explain your reasoning a bit more?
  17. Does anyone else have an opinion on the bow? We would need more feedback from players since I'm sure more than two stalkers use the bow. Changing the effects of donations requires some delicacy and agreement.
  18. We'll look into this issue and resolve it ASAP and let you know. Thank you for letting us know. (:

    Hi :)

Oops, sorry. Try for_fild02.. the soldiers there drop them. (: Also, doing the Forsaken Dungeon quest is worth considering... it helps with farming.

    Hi :)

Well, it varies. You usually won't get more than a couple of donation coupons for a ticket, if that. It takes time and dedication, but it is worth it. (: Right now we don't offer any donation services through phones... we offer Alert Pay, Western Union, and Cash donations. You can click here for details on the methods of donation, but keep in mind we no longer offer Paypal, only Alert Pay.

    Hi :)

Welcome to fRO! I hope you will enjoy playing here. If you have any questions, feel free to PM or email me. To contact me or any other GM in game, simply use @request. Good luck and have fun! (: Zeny is not worth a whole lot here, donation coupons are the main aspect of the economy. Have no fear, though! Anyone can get them. The best ways to do so are... participate in events and if you win event coupons, you can convert them into donation coupons at the Event Rewards NPC. You can also farm ygg berries at for_fild or Forsaken Dungeon, convert them into ygg tickets and then sell them to other players for donation coupons. If you can't afford to donate, the best equipment for any class really is the Forsaken Elite gear. To get this, level up to 255/255 and then perform the Forsaken Elite quest (click here for a guide of how to do it). If you can donate, the Forsaken King set is the best. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask and I will help to the best of my abilities. :)
  22. That sounds really good to me. :) We'll see! Any fixes to the weapons will probably be done sometime this weekend.
  23. If you can just pay to be unbanned, there is no point of rules in the first place. If everyone knew they could do anything that they wanted and all they have to do is pay 10 dollars... yeah, that wouldn't really work out so well. I'm just going to reject this, as this certainly would not be acceptable. - Rejected -
  24. Thank you for letting us know, all of the bugs will be fixed as soon as possible. :)
  25. How to Avoid Being Scammed Remember, the best way to not be scammed is to be well informed! With this in mind, I've created a list of the most common ways people are scammed (both in and out of game). I can't stress how important it is to follow these guidelines. Often times, if you lose your items, you cannot get them back. You can never be careful enough! When in doubt, follow the "it's better to be safe than sorry" policy. The basic things every player should know: 1.) Never give your username or password to ANYONE. No GM will ever ask you for your password! Even when the administration is providing you with support, they will only ask you for your account name, NEVER your password. 2.) Never lend out your items. Chances are, you will not get them back even if you think that person is your friend. The staff of ForsakenRO strongly discourages any lending or sharing of items of any kind. We understand you trust your friends, but the best policy is to never lend out your items! If you do, and you are scammed, we are not liable. 3.) If someone asks to try on your items, see the item's stats or description, or anything remotely like that, do not trade them. This is a common way for players to scam others. 4.) Never trade someone who offers to duplicate your items. This is the number one excuse scammers use. Item duping is not possible on ForsakenRO. If anyone says this to you, take a screenshot and report them immediately on the forums here. 5.) This goes without saying, but when you make a deal with someone, make sure that you receive the item(s) at the same time the other player receives your payment. Do not pay in advance: if you do, chances are you will never get your item AND you will have lost those coupons/zeny/etc. you were trading for it. 6.) Always be sure to check the item the player is trading you EVERY time you make the deal. Often times, players will deal you a card (eg. Tao Gunka Card), then disconnect. They come back, deal you again, but instead of putting up the card you wanted (Tao Gunka), they'll switch it for another card that isn't worth as much, e.g. Poring Card. To prevent this and other similar methods of scamming, always be sure to check and double check what items are being traded before accepting the deal! 7.) It's a good idea to take screenshots every time you make a deal with another player so you have documented proof of the trade. Even if you trust them, believe me, it's better to be safe than sorry! Regarding out of game scamming: Forward: Recently, there has been an increase in scams via MSN/AIM/yahoo. Almost every case has been of a person imitating Relinquish and contacting a player offering them a position on the staff. No matter how convincing they may seem, NEVER give your password to anyone claiming to be a staff member of ForsakenRO. Please remember: - The staff will never ask you for your password. - We will never contact you privately about applying for GM. When we're hiring, there will be a public announcement on the forums with the ONLY email you should send your application to. - The staff will always use official ForsakenRO emails. (eg. [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]) We will never have emails at hotmail, yahoo, or any other email provider. There has also been an increase in people impersonating other players using ASCII characters (e.g. using [alt+255] or [alt+0610] instead of spaces). Though we discourage lending out items, if you do decide to, check with your friend to make sure it's really them. You could ask them a question only they would be able to answer, or follow these suggestions by Wish: 1. Create a codeword so that your friends will know it's really you. It's a bit cheesy, but effective nonetheless. 2. Add the friends who you would lend your items to (if you must lend your items out) to your friend list. If someone comes asking you for items or for any account info, you could check your friend list. If your friend isn't online, then you know it's a scammer. If they are online, you can PM them and see if you get a response to double-check. 3. Avoid making characters with spaces in the name. 4. If you have a character with a space in the name, also make the other character that could be used for impersonation. (I.e. Your current character: word(regular space)word. Also make: word(alt+255)word and word(alt+0160)word.) This would be rather tedious, but safer. Yes, I know that some people use multiple spaces. Credits Thank you to Wish for helping me with this. If anyone has been scammed another way than the ones mentioned here, let me know so I can include something about it.
