If you don't have the setup.exe then you have not installed our game through our full installer. I'd recommend you to just download the full installer and install it. Then let it patch. If you don't have setup.exe then you're probably missing other crucial files as well.

Read through it all. I like the idea but there's one problem with this. Adding something with this many effects would pretty much make everyone wearing the same hat. This hat would be WAY better than any other available hat in the game, especially in combination with the weapons. It would make all other headgears pretty much useless. Therefore I'll have to disagree with the entire 'secondary effect'. It's better to boost the weapons themselfs instead of making them a combination with this hat.

Hey there. The most common cause of this problem is a none-adjusted setup.exe. Please follow these steps : 1: Go to your ForsakenRO folder. 2: Open the file called setup.exe 3: Select the top bar and use it to select your graphic card. (If the top bar is empty without options you have to install Direct X / Update your graphic card drivers ) 4: Make sure your selected resolution (at the setup.exe) is not higher than your actual screen resolution. 5: Set up your sound options. Defaults are : 2D sound, 2 speaker, 22k sound frequency , 16 bit, 16 channel. 6: Make sure "Check for VooDoo3 users" is unchecked. Lightmap and enable fog can be checked. 7: Press OK and try starting the client aagain.

Here you will find the link to the latest patch. This is intended to be used if you are having problem patching Forsaken-Ro through your ForsakenRo Patcher. Before you do this, you better make sure that you have our full installer, installed. Follow the following easy steps to get a successful manual patch. 1. Download the following file from this link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/qfg6hf (After reaching the page click on the file name to start the download) 2. Extract the following files in your Forsaken-Ro Folder. 3. Overwrite everything that it asks you to overwrite. 4. Run your Forsaken-Ro Patcher, and let it patch any extra file if there is any. When it says "Patch process completed. Enjoy playing Forsaken Ro" you are good to go. 5. Try logging in and you shall be error free. Side note: The link to the manual patch will be updated every time a new update is released. [GM]Decode used to update the files most of the time, I will be updating them from now. If you still error after trying these files feel free to create a topic in this support section.

I've received a different report about the avian wings as well. Unfortunately I don't have the wings so I can't test them myself. However, I'll ask Genesis to re-add the water avian sprites at the next update which will most likely solve this issue.

I did not mention anything regarding opening up the laptop cause it removes all warranties on the machine. Besides that reapplying thermal paste is a very risky option and can easily destroy more than do good. It's a precision job and should only be done if the original thermal paste was placed incorrectly. Cleaning the heatsink and fans etc always helps. That's logical, however opening the laptop removes your warranty if you still have any. Also make sure you remove any static charges you got on you if you decide to open up your laptop. Ever had it that you touched something metal and ended up getting a little shock ? If any of those static charges get close to your motherboard is can easily destroy parts of it. So be careful with that.

Heat issues are quite hard to deal with with a laptop. An external fan is the most common solution. However you can also try playing the games on lower performance (Change Windows battery settings to Power Saver or Balanced instead of full performance and the temperature will most likely rise slower. Also as cookie said. Make sure you use your laptop on a hard and solid surface. This way the hot air can escape the laptop easier.

If it happens with all games then I'm afraid your computer/laptop might be overheating. Parts you'd have to look at for this are your CPU and GPU. There's several tools that can monitor heat by using the sensors on your motherboard. One of these programs is called HWmonitor. Try running this while you play a game and see what it does for your temperature. Another cause could be that games require more power from your graphics card(GPU mostly) and as soon as your GPU takes more power your powersupply is no longer able to cope with your hardware. You could try running what they call a stresstest. Which pretty much uses your hardware to an excessive level to check if your powersupply is able to handle it or not.

@7lovestories. The weight would pretty much be returned to what it was if this gets accepted so adding additional enlarge weight limits would not make sense. Besides the elite stalker bow and sniper bow already have level 10 enlarge weight limit.

It probably has something to do with the battery settings of your laptop. Do you always play when it's plugged-in or without electricity as well ? And does it go to sleep as well when it's plugged in or not ?
-
Alright. Glad it worked. :)

Resetting your gear will most likely solve this issue. However, make sure you stay up to date as well. After installing the all in one, make sure you run the patcher as well :)

Unfortunately, this can be caused by quite a lot of things such as : 1: Windows power settings 2: PowerNow! Settings ( Your CPU has it. This program causes your laptop to automatically use less power when the battery starts running out ) 4: PSU starting to die. 4: GPU starting to die. 5: Overheating. 6: Even setup.exe configurations can cause it when it interferes with system settings. First things first, you say this doesn't happen with other games. Which is good cause it rules out quite a few possibilities. Though I need to know, does it always do this with RO or only at times ?

Seems to be fixed. Closing this

Fun suggestions but coding this would be way more work than you expect. Simply copying an area won't get anywhere close to the effects you want to give. Housing should be possible (Pretty much the same as the guild hide-out we once had). The placing plants could be possible by letting an npc spawn a yellow/red/white etc plant or mushroom after paying a certain zeny price. The entire furniture idea would require a ton of scripting work and I personally don't think it's worth the time. Just "making some furniture" would require an entire system to be able to place the furniture where you want it and be able to actually use it. for example get on the couch after placing it.
