  1. To amuse people. It's not serious PvP. Only way you'll win ladder through ND room is feeding. Ok, not like it matters.
  2. What's the point of a completely customized server with one of the best class balances around having a WoE where none of that is really useful?
  3. A few things I think I should point out. 1. PvP ladders in EVERY GAME are usually dominated by veteran players. If you could ladder as a scrub nub and obtain special items would it be all that worth it? Ladders are always dominated by veterans of said game. Kids joining WoW for two weeks don't get to QQ that they can't compete in the intense PvP sets... why would it be different on our server from any other game. 2. People think that removing parties will promote more fun/fair play... Well let me tell you exactly how it will turn out: -Every champion/sniper that enters will have double attack, provoke, food buffs, assumptio, etc... -Most people will die in one-two super buffed skill shots -Does this adequately show who's the most skilled in PvP or who can alt the most clients for buffs? Paladins are necessary to keep balance in PvP. If you take away their ability to devo all hell will break loose. There won't be any real strategy or "player verses player" circumstances. It tips ladder even more in favor of champions/snipers and any other class that "buffs and burns". 3. Expecting a GM to be online all the time just to kick people who are twiddling their thumbs in the PvP room is naive and a waste of staff resources.
  4. I would appreciate a reply to everything I said, not just one part... By removing party play from pvp you indirectly nerf a lot of class' usefulness. Paladin/Priest/Sniper/Wizard/Gunslinger all lose usefulness if you remove parties. Counter Suggestion: Why not just add another room and call it Free For All. In that room you could remove the party system.
  5. 1. Don't really care. Just a note though: People aren't pvping for just 1-3 days then calling it GG. People are pvping for two weeks. Ask Tono... hes being going back and forth with this one kid for a week or two now. If you pvp for 1-3 days then quit you're going to lose. 2. Disagree. A lot of classes are dependent on being in party to be useful. Parties are a part of pvp like it or not.... 3. Disagree. Sometimes you have to stand around waiting for people to enter. Getting kicked while waiting for someone to fight seems really annoying. Seems like an unnecessary script/rule. What was your logic behind this suggestion? It seems like you don't want random people just hanging out in the pvp room. I think it's a good thing if they're there. If I see 10 people in the pvp room I'm more likely to go in than 9...8...7..6.. etc.. even if 1-4 of those people are just hanging out. It gets the pvp room active.

    Sex! Changer.

Change to female... flirt with stupid males. Get items. Change back to male.
  8. Kiels don't effect heal spam rate. You don't need kiels to spam heal quickly while being hit. The skill isn't limited by delay, it's limited by sprite movement.
  9. @Perishable: You don't need kiels to spam heal. You can spam it at a set rate due to sprite delay... If you're being it the sprite delay is eliminated and you can spam it endlessly regardless of kiels. Priests are very likely to be hit while defending (they stand very close to or right on top of the stone so they take splash damage from all directions). There are macros that allow you to spam it at an illegitimate rate without being hit... but I won't even get into that shit. Now, it's kind of obvious to me that we're just talking in circles. I'm not going to post again unless someone brings up a new and thought out point. I've said pretty much all that can be said. I'll let the decision makers take it from here.
  10. Quick question: Did you make a ticket about this? If it is a bug there probably needs to be a ticket made before massive topics pop up about this.
  11. Well, when I helped with the cape stats I tried to keep in mind multiple builds. How about 5% Matk 5% Patk as a medium for both sides? Some people just prefer magic builds on ninja. I want the capes to be useful for both builds.
  12. Where the hell are you guys getting all these event tokens? Well I guess the suggestion itself isn't a bad one. It is useful, but I don't think it needs to be a top priority.
  13. Interesting idea, but I don't know if enough people would use them to make it worth it. Hardly anyone uses this item and I don't think it's solely because of the color limitation.
  14. Don't take it personally. If you have ideas make suggestions... it's how the server grows.
  15. First of all your information is wrong. I've never used heal on guardian stones/baracades in 2.0. Father Xtopher has never graced the WoE 2.0 castle with his presence so now I'm lead to believe you're simply making things up in order to argue with me. I've always played Gunslinger and Lord Knight in WoE 2.0. Feel free to ask any Bravery/Aggresive/Ghost member. I'll keep calling it abuse. Abuse: (noun) a corrupt or improper practice or custom. I call it abuse because bacsojin heals (300-500k) weren't meant for this kind of usage. Healing G-stones is not the main defense mechanism to WoE 2.0. If you REALLY feel that way you're simply narrow minded. Have you ever even played iRO WoE 2.0? Guardian stones go down pretty quickly. I'm sorry if you feel a stone that can't be healed is "unguardable". That's simply false. Both big guild on the server are capable of assigning 20-40 people to defending stones. This is more than enough defense. Now, stop saying "your" and "our" when talking about the attacking and defending guilds. This only brings in biases. None of these guild are mine so stop referring to them as such. I'm making a none-biased suggestion and words like that only lead me to believe that you're biased. Who has what items isn't really relevant. The fact of the matter is that if a dominant guild abuses bacsojin heals it is simply impossible for any other guild to make any progress in WoE 2.0. Leave your biases at forum index or don't post in my topics. As for land protector, the defending guild has a 5:1 professor ratio to the attacking guild. Yes, numbers make a difference. That's not what I'm here to talk about. The skill Heal is not effected by land protector Next: as for your "fact". Euro WoE has always been a break-fest. No one applies serious defensive strategies until the last 2 minutes of WoE. I like how you fail to mention American WoE which has two castles at 25-30 econ. Defense works when applied properly. Lastly, I've said it before and I'll say it again: WoE 2.0 is NOT normal WoE. It is very different so stop comparing the two. I'm really glad to see someone post who isn't controlled by their guild leader or biased out of greed or self interest. It seems to me that everyone in your guild would be bored out of their minds during WoE 2.0 with how easy it is to defend. All this guy has to do is throw devo on a priest, kick back and press the ygg button occasionally because more than likely no one can even make it to the stone to damage the priest/paladin. I don't know if this is possible, but I still don't like this as a solution. Yea Som, the problem is the skill "Heal". I take it you didn't read most of the thread before you posted... LOL.
  16. First of all, I don't know who you are but I doubt you know much about defending/attacking in our WoE 2.0 situation if you aren't part of the two major warring guilds. Running around on some random character watching people fight is not the same as actually being in the fight. I've known about the potentiality since the beginning of WoE 2.0, however, I have never abused this myself. Now, let's get down to business, shall we? I know no one has made a topic about this. Unlike most people I like to give new things time before ranting off in the suggestion threads about how things are "OP". I like to see how things play out and how they bring balances/imbalances to the game for a while before I come to a position on either side. I've given this topic a lot of thought since people started heal bombing the guardian stones and thus I'm making the topic now. Would you rather me make a suggestion as soon as I see heal bombing used and based off of situational emotion or illogical rage? No. I prefer my suggestion threads to be thought out and logical. Next, when in the bloody fucking hell is a champ going to pop off 25-30 asuras on a guardian stone? This is NOT possible. With the level of defense that the guilds in WoE 2.0 have no champ(s) will EVER get the opportunity to drop more than 2-3 asuras on a stone. Your examples don't include people actually defending. Where is the other guild while your champ/prof examples are unloading on the stones? I suppose 30-40 defenders are walking around all herp derp? This simply isn't logical. Guardian stone defensive strategies are air tight as of lately. Most attackers get overwhelmed before they ever even get to the stone, and even if they manage to kill a few on the way the defenders are back in 40 seconds. A lot of people are posting here as if NO ONE is actually defending the stones. The fact is that most attackers get crushed like flies before they ever even get to the stone and the healing on top of the airtight defense is just imbalanced. How is removing heal going to completely demolish 2.0 defenses? You have to 1. Take down a fully defending stone. 2. Take down the other fully defended stone (the defending guild has the advantage of using the flags to get there first) 3. If you manage to do step 2 10 minutes after step one you can move to step 4. If not go back to step 1. 4. Take down fully defended baracade 1 5. Take down fully defended baracade 2 6. Take down fully defended baracade 3 7. Make it all the way to the emp room and take down a fully defended emp. At any point during attacking the baracades they'll probably ressurect the stones. By the time you make it to baracade 3 the stones should be back up. Here's how I see current 2.0 breaking down. "20 minutes to break stone 1. 15 minutes to break stone 2. Stone one was repaired 5 minutes ago, gotta attack it again. 20 More minutes to break stone 1. 15 minutes to break stone 2....but wait.... we only have 5 minutes left in WoE... What are baracades again?" @Your other little comments: If he was referring to "healing" the stones through items he should have said that. He said healing. Heal is a skill. This topic is about said skill. He should be more clear. Next, don't compare normal WoE to WoE 2.0. WoE 2.0 has MUCH MORE people online defending than any normal WoE castle. It's the new big thing for the server thus it is way more popular. @The Turn Undead comment: I'm very well aware of how the skill works. If you read really carefully I said "potentially". I said this because, to put it bluntly, shit happens! Sometimes there are bugs, and I'm sure Genesis doesn't want to run the risk of this happening. I'm glad you "lol'd hard" though. That is not "fact" that is opinion. The only way we can know it is if we test your hypothesis. You have no proof of fact, you only have opinion based off information, the same as me. Fact: A truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true. Opinion: A belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty. Today we tested some theories. We had people hard focus the stones. Specific weapons put together just for stone destruction. All WoE 2.0 asuraing, bowling bashing, and auto attacking the stone and it never broke. Where is your evidence behind your "fact". I wan't to see your proof.
  17. I don't know if that's possible. Plus, it would still heal a lot.
  18. Yes, it has come to my attention that making it undead isn't possible. Turn Undead skill would potentially one shot the stone. It seems that disabling bacsojins is the only legitimate option left. In the interest of fairness they have to be disabled. It wasn't a bug. Sanctuary will be nerfed by disabling bacsojins, unfortunately. You are posting as if there isn't anyone defending them. They stones will never break "easily". Tanking 40 defenders and just making your way to the stone isn't "easy", much less killing the proper defending classes as well as trying to deal damage to the stone. Being able to heal is not crucial. Yes, they will break eventually. They're supposed to break. WoE 2.0 isn't supposed to be based off of the guardian stones alone. If it were then why would there even be an emp and 3 baracades? It's unfortunate that sanctuary would have to be nerfed as well, but it's necessary. You can heal the stone before it breaks. All you have to do is hold shift and spam the skill "Heal" on it. Priests/Champions/Paladins/Stalkers are all capable of healing Stones/Baracades for 300-500k with the proper equipment setup. Do you know how difficult it is for a champion to get to the stone and be able to aim an asura? By the time they get one successful asura off they're most likely going to die. Then the damage is healed in approximately 5-10 heal spams which is much more easy to do. I look at every suggestion objectively before I "critic" things. If this were iRO and we were capable of silencing priests there would be no problem, but it isn't. There is no counter to this when a priest or priests can pop back into the guardian stone area in approximately 30-40 seconds and go right back to healing. The 3-5 priest example was just an extreme to how bad this could get. The active guild on the server could afford to assign 3-5 people to solely play priest to heal stones. It takes very little equipment to do this so even noobies could do it. I don't remember ever saying I wanted this to be a walk in the park. I'm simply stating what would be the fairest thing to do. Please go into further detail when you disagree in my topics otherwise I'm going to simply ignore your posts. I welcome debate as long as it is somewhat intelligent. An example of an intelligent post would be: 1. Explaining said tactics. 2. Explaining how they are flawed. 3. Explaining how removing heal would make this a "walk in the park". The last time I went for a walk in the park 45 people weren't trying to jump me, strip my clothes, and leave me in a comatose state.
  19. However, it's only really useful for getting full buffs (gospel etc...) and @warping to pvp ASAP. Do we really want this?
  20. Create a folder in your ForsakenRO folder. Name it Emblem The image you want for your emblem should be placed in this folder. Keep in mind it has to be 24x24 bmp image.
  21. There is no way to lower it other than nerfing bacsojins entirely. It's all or nothing. There is no way to cap the healing done on the stone per heal. Also, why would cooldown time be lowered? It's been shown over and over again by multiple guilds that you can defend the castle without the heal strategy. With 20-40 people defending the stones it takes a long time to break them, then you have to break the next one in 10 minutes. If you can even manage this you still have to break the baracades. WoE 2.0 is balanced without the healing. No adjustment needs to be made to repair times. People seem to think that if the guardian stones break then you lose the castle... that's simply not true. You have to break a stone, then break a second one within 10 minutes, then break 3 baracade walls to ever even get to the emp. By the time you make it to the 2nd-3rd baracade the guardian stones should be being reconstructed. Guardian stones are supposed to be a piece of the big defensive picture of WoE 2.0, not the entire defense themselves.
