Even if the older players have them, doesn't make it less desirable if we buff the sacreds a little. Adding the old emps in the pvp rewards could also help new players that like to play solo and doesn't woe. although that could also make old players get and hoard the emps, but they can only do that if they camp and live in the pvp room for long periods of time. But yeah, that might not be the solution for an empty pvp room, i am just throwing it out there and see if people like it :) New items, same, I cannot really think of anything yet. A weapon that can only be obtained through pvp ladder could work, but I can't see people accepting it if it outshines the valks..

that's why i said on my topic(If you read it fully) that we need to add new rewards in. i only said to upgrade the existing wings because that can also be done and i cannot think of a new item to put in the ladder yet. again, as I said on my topic starter, I want the community's input on this on what items to put in the pvp rewards.

What he technically wants is for new guys/senior players to know who are the good people of the community that they could really trust, and those guys will be the one who have a high reputation, given by the community's input.

Now that we got an all new PvP room where it really is player vs player, and not party vs player or player with all buffs available vs player, we need something to make people actually want to use that room. So my suggestion is to put new and great items as pvp rewards. I made this topic so we can make a collection of ideas on what items should be put on the rewards. Feel free to post and discuss. I'll even start. Most pvp rewards are lower headgears. it would be great if we can add new headgears(that can be the effect of valk helm and works with king set) that costs a pvp tokens(quantity should be discussed) Sacred wings are getting obsolete because of capes/eidelics/rings. It isn't a great reward for pvp like it once were, and the fact that there is a vote item that has the same effect makes it really not that worth it. I suggest a buff on PvP sacred wings My suggestion. 1. Buff sacred wing. put a slot in it, or give some kind of hp increase OR class specific stat increase(like scarf) 2. Put the old emperium auras(green, orange, purple, blue) as PVP rewards(number of tokens should be discussed)

and if I may add, the effects of the cape in game is as follows. Effect: Walking speed +10% Reduce damage taken from Demihumans by 5% Increase damage with Acid Demonstration by 10%, HP+5% SP + 5%,Int + 20, MATK+10%. so in essence, if I make it into a bio blessed ring, the only thing im getting is another increase on HP and SP by 5%, 5% more movement speed, - vit def, vit + 20 and lvl 5 heavens drive, and then I lose the increase damage with Acid Demonstration. It doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade compared to the other rings. The blessed ring quest is hard and annoying, and the reward for it as a biochemist isn't worth it at this moment. I suggest to put increase damage of acid demonstration by 15% on the ring, 10% if you think it might be too much.

^ actually, when I handed Hansen Tears of Blood, I told him never to keep drops since I never did. I remember hansen actually buying his own emp even when the castle dropped one. hmm seems like most kids i helped turned out ok in the end.

My first question that i didn't really see you answer in your topic starter- Why is spamming yggs a problem? I can't really make a complete argument without that so I will just mostly reiterate my points on the previous topic. I just skimmed through your topic so feel free to correct me, i am at work so i cannot fully read what you said, i just got the gist of it. Ok i agree with Shadi and almost everything he said is what I am about to type anyway, so I'll just add a few of my own.. Ygg spamming is ALWAYS gonna be class specific. at this moment, like kuoch and shadi mentioned, it is practically impossible to balance classes out just for the reason to remove ygg spamming. as Shadi mentioned, it requires nerfing of certain items and changing a item codes which isn't practical. some classes will have a big disadvantage if we do that, no matter what we change. On making a pvp room that limits ygg. i can agree to that, but would anyone enter it? I already find the ND pvp room irrelevant, adding one more pvp room that actually limits ygg, i don't think people would actually go in there. especially as it favors certain classes that could hit and run, even if you balance things out, it will still favor a few classes. I believe you have read my tests on the previous topic. I USE BIOCHEMIST/CREATOR. I mained it ever since I came back to this server a few months ago. Sure, you dont see people using it, but it doesn't mean that everyone uses sinx or champs In fact, I read about your argument about healing using brewed potions and what not. isn't it bias? I mean, if we limit seeds/berries altogether, doesn't it also favor the ones with innate healing skills? won't everyone use those classes then? On a biochemist point of view, limiting seeds/berries is a huge disadvantage because biochemists : 1. has no innate escape mechanism like backslide or cloak 2. has shitty hp modifier even if the effects of tao gunka is already raised for merchant classes. 3. doesn't have a big burst damage skill except acid demonstration which is so easily reduced with gr and raydrics and a few more items sure, i can use sinx card for the lvl 3 cloak, i can use antique firelocks on shoes for the hp, i can raise int and use the valk weapon to increase acid demonstration damage. i tried that, I tried and tested most things and see if limiting yggs is viable. with the damage output, no it isn't. And this will just force hit and run tactics which is worse than ygg spamming. We are not a low rate server, in a low rate environment, berries play a huge advantage. if you use a berry then, it would take someone around 3-5 or more seconds to bring your hp down. In here, if you use a berry one time, you need to use it again less than 2 seconds later. technically (although not exactly) seeds/berries here is the mastela fruit on low rates. sure, mastela doesn't heal full or half of your total hp, but the heal of it is high enough on the damage done on those servers. you still spam it, and winning in low rate custom servers is still on who holds the most mastela/healing item. which is why WS and sinx and LKs are the top classes in low rates. other classes have a hard time there, because they hold less mastela You saying that some of the replies on the previous topic, stating them as "weak arguments" is actually a weak argument for you. you technically limited what some older players might say even though they are completely valid. let's start on it. 1. Highrate server argument- this is a high rate server with custom items. how can that be a weak argument when it is true. you simply cannot compare OTHER high rate or low rate servers you have played on since we are completely different. you might have played in a high rate server with no berries, but have you played long enough here with no berries. no matter what your experience is in other servers, you are still a newbie here, that fact remains. stop comparing it if you havent done tests here. 2. hp modifier- i used every class imaginable, i know for a fact that 100 vit on an LK gives bigger hp than 100 vit on a biochemist. changing every class's hp modifier to keep them at par with the others is kinda pointless. it's like having the same base character, same hp and sp but with different skills. 3. class specific- balancing something, not against it, but impractical to do just for a reason to limit yggs which is not a problem in the first place. i've been here long enough, and i gotta say, the server is at it's peak of being balanced(even though some items are not). way back in 2007, everyone is on sinx and champ because that is the only class you can really pvp. nowadays, you see almost every class. I don't see it being unbalanced because of yggs in any sort of way. some weapons are imbalanced, true, but at this point in the server, everyone can pvp using most classes. not just two or three classes. biochemists cannot even pvp well a few years ago that they sunk to just being fcp slaves. not the case now 4. Pvp server argument- yeah, that one argument is too broad but it is still true. pvp server with high damage output, I would like to see you use other healing items beside yggs and seeds and survive for more than 10 seconds. it just isnt possible. and yeah we can nerf and balance it out to your preference but my question is why? again, seeds/berries are never a problem in here. why is it a problem for you in the first place? 5. too lazy to farm yggs- some people are lazy to farm yggs(like the previous topic starter), and that is why they wanted that. also, you saying the thread is about the server and not you is a weak argument since YOU started the thread. you haven't really played in the server long enough and already made assumptions.. 6. been this way long enough- well, it really did. EVERYONE of us older players have adjusted to it, and you as a new player should try to adjust to it first, before making a suggestion to it. because your arguments will always be bias if you haven't tried it yet. you say "it's about how the players adapt to the items". i honestly think you haven't adapted yet on the berry/seed environment. i suggest you try it first, by then you can make valid arguments and not assumptions you got from other servers. 7. pvp without berries- you did pvp without berries, is it on this server or another one? if it is on a different server, then your argument is invalid, since we have different items than that server. 8.we like things the way it is- isn't it supposed to be a majority thing? if tons of people agree that yggs are a part of this server's pvp, would the GMs accept your suggestion and implement it anyway? My main argument is you haven't really been here long enough to actually get the whole "feel" of the server. you just made assumptions based on your experiences in the other servers. If you want, we can test out some things first so that you can practically understand what I'm getting at. feel free to message me here in the forums if you wanted some tests done.

I used fire converters, cursed waters and box of storm. mostly people use box of storm because it is easy to farm

^ that's getting way too greedy, since you get around 4 boxes and do it everyday until the next woe. that would cause tons of emps and imps into the economy and destroy the economy again.

there used to be a random mvp in fdun, dragon keeper i think. We already made a suggestion to bring that one back :) and no, for_fild02 is not on par with fdun in terms of berry supply. soldiers drop them at 50% anyway, so having a fdun really helps.

not boosting the drop rate and not getting drops every woe you get a castle is also not the end of the world Deniz. :p Right now, all drops is at .2% in all castles. how many castle chests are there when it spawns? 3 or 4? let's say 4, so you get a total of .8% chance to get 1 of the 3 drops in castle, 1/3 chance of getting the coveted eidelic wing as well. and you get that chance everyday until the next woe. in all honesty i find that chance high already. but it seems people are complaining way too much. Let's say we put a .5% chance in all the drops. 4 castle chests= 2% chance to get a drop. in fact, this seems really high considering you can do this everyday until the next woe. but I can agree to it IF AND ONLY IF this chance is only put on the new emps and imps. Eidelics should stay at .2%, and should stay as rare as possible. Emps and Imps only differ in color, not the effect anyway. Eidelics is such a good item that should stay rare. Honestly, this suggestion would help smaller guilds like ours that can take castles from big guilds like yours. Seriously guys, you really want to give us guild members of Elith a better chance of getting castle drops? With just a few of us in Elith, one of us could actually collect a full color set before the 35th member of a big guild can get one drop if indeed the drop rates were a little bit higher.. This suggestion actually helps us, but everyone in Elith mostly disagrees. To the ones that are at the bottom of the big guilds. we all know how this normally happens, the one who are friends with the guildmaster would probably get the drops first. No point denying it, it always happens. Guild masters would indeed give out drops, but takes time, EVEN WITH A HIGHER PERCENTAGE OF DROP RATES. so will this help newbies? not really, unless your guildmaster decides to give drops to the ones that needs them, not the ones he is friends with. I disagree to it for the reason that it wouldn't help the server in the long run, ive been through all the economy changes. If I was as selfish as most people, I'll agree to the suggestion all through out, sure ill even agree to a 1% drop rate. Unfortunately, getting castle drops, nor getting salary wasn't in my agenda when I join guilds and WoE for them. getting castle drops is a perk, not the reason for me nor is it the reason our guild participate in WoE. so don't single us out saying the reason we don't want this implemented is because we already got the drops.

^ that I can agree on. some donators actually move around here thinking they are the best. Just ignore them. chances are they are not really good. Let me tell you, I fought alot of newbies that just donated their way in here, getting all the stuff they can get through donation and whatnot, but cannot pvp well, in fact most really, really suck.

I have been here for so long since 2007. I haven't donated yet. and i have all i need to be somewhat decent but as I said many times before, once I could donate, I will. you guys already have the knight/legendary quest that we didn't have when we started. We cant even get king set through voting before. we can only vote twice in a day before. We didn't have floating rates. we dont have activity tokens before. we didn't have seed room before. Thanatos card drops at .01% way back in 2007. Acid bomb bottles cost 20k each before. the best questable aura we get is the dragon aura that gives +5 stats, nothing compared to legendary zodiacs now. Hell, Elite quest(what we have before knight quest) is so annoying it makes knight and legendary quest look like a cakewalk. You can finish almost all legendary stuff now within 2-3 days. you can't do that on the elite quest before( 3k hydra cards, 2k card of something, and other stuff too, only to get 200 stat points, then the elite gear has a separate items needed that needs 3k cards and mvp cards). YOU HAVE WIKI GUIDES ON ALMOST ALL THE QUEST YOU NEED, we have to find npcs for that before. In short, newbies now have an easier time than we did before. everyone can quest, not everyone can donate. It seems unfair that you call the ones that donated are lazy. They spent their hard-earned cash gained through working to get items in game because most of them don't have time to quest stuff since they have jobs. Technically, they are farming in real life. Anyone can sit around in front of a computer and farm stuff, if you don't have a job that is so easy to do. But most of us do have jobs, have bills to pay and cannot sit around and quest on a game just to be decent, hence people donate to get stuff they can't get since they cannot farm, they do get a little extra for it since they help the server. and as Decode and Veracity said, no donation item is exclusive whatsoever. you can buy them off players. it does take time for you to gain tokens to get them ,but so what? you didn't pay anything to play anyway. Technically, you playing doesn't help in the server costs. This server allows that kind of stuff. I know tons of people who never donated and got almost all the stuff you can get through donating. it isn't hard, just takes time. Just to give you an idea, you spent a maximum of a week to get stuff(knight set, legendary weapon, legendary gaunts and probably sgw and some mvp cards). you can start pvping at that point. When I started, it took me a half a year of farming berries( i can only play a maximum of 4 hours a day due to school and work) to get my first king set. in fact, as I remember correctly, it took me a whole year to fully gear my SinX that time. it won't take you that long to do that now.

i think not all belts weigh 800, since my int belts weigh 350. not sure how much int gauntlets weigh though. if they are indeed lighter, i might consider using them. so i think the weight should be more balanced
