Lesta Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Thana room does not need a lot of changes but it would help the players and also i think it would help the server if we could resolve the issue with only a few players being the only ones getting into the room. The only way i see this issue being resolved is changing the cool down period after you enter the room. A 6 hour cool down would allow more people a chance to enter the room and hopefully help the server. Being a new player it isnt easy farming for equips and cards but it is possible but for the ones who cannot donate for items it is very hard to get equipment to compete with the more experienced players who has complete sets. I believe that is why a lot of new players are complaining so much i mean a EMP selling for 40k tokens how is a non donater going to ever afford something like that without being able to enter the Thana room to farm the one card that will help build their equipment. I would like to see some kind of change so we can get some stronger players and balance out the server again. We have one Guild that runs this server and without players being able to get proper equipment it will stay that way. Thanks hopefully this helps a little
Yatogami Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 -1 because thana room has received many fixes and anti-cheat procedures so its fine the way it is.
Lesta Posted December 3, 2016 Author Report Posted December 3, 2016 the cheats and anti cheats dont stop the same 5 or 6 people from going into the room every time and im not a newbie player that has no equips and i already have 3 thana cards that i bought cause the room is to hard to enter when its being hoged by a few players who always enter this isnt for me to get thana its for other players that cant afford thana or equips
Lesta Posted December 3, 2016 Author Report Posted December 3, 2016 when one player has 3 different accounts and uses them to enter so they dont have to wait for the short cool down process i dont think making it a longer time will hurt them that much
p3wp3w Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Lol do you even realize what you're talkin about? do you think 3 accounts can pass the bot check at the same time by the same person? well if you dont like the things they were right now, i'd assume that that's part of the things that you need to learn as a newbie. welcome to the server.
Lesta Posted December 3, 2016 Author Report Posted December 3, 2016 they go into the thana room with 1st account while that account is in cool down they use 2 nd account for next enter and while its in cool down they use 3rd account for next enter then they start over i do know what im talking about and if you would think about what u read before you post a reply ur reply might maks a little more since and also im not a newbie i have played this server since 2008 thx

You didnt get his point, and he's indeed an old player. I say spawn thana in random maps every 2 hours, make it fair for everyone, first to find it kills it, pvp on/off up to you guys. That stupid thana room has been hoarded by the same people for months/years Edited December 3, 2016 by Specter 1

That stupid thana room has been hoarded by the same people for months/years +1. But, make it just one Map, same process of entering as PVP room. Only from 1 NPC no @warps.. PK ON of course to make it thrilling. Parties are Not Allowed. I Admit I am one of the hoarders...
Inflatable Sheep Posted December 4, 2016 Report Posted December 4, 2016 All the hoarders are using hacks I can prove this 100% fu fu fu fu fu

Ares Posted December 4, 2016 Report Posted December 4, 2016 I'm sorry but I don't see the point of doing this.
Inflatable Sheep Posted December 4, 2016 Report Posted December 4, 2016 A fair and effective solution might simply be to render the NPC unclickable until the room is open, thereby forcing players to manually go through the menu options and botcheck. In that case. since the botcheck passwords are various lengths that take longer or shorter times to type, it would randomize a higher or lower chance to get in, yet still leave some element of skill required ... rather than just hitting Enter really fast when the room opens, as it currently stands, which can be done rather easily shall we say ARTIFICIALLY if you get my drift. 3

This might be the solution. :) I'll add this to my todo list. 1
