Buff The Blessed Ring For Prof Because It's Under-rated

hello, i am suggest to buff the blessed ring because in my opinion the blessed ring for prof is so under rated .

here are the status for the blessed ring + cursed ring for prof, and im doing comparing the status .

Professor Blessed Ring:

  • Walking speed +15% [same like cursed]
  • Reduce Damage taken from Demihumans by 5% [same like cursed]
  • Reduce Vit def by 10% [same like cursed]
  • HP +10% [cursed give more 5% hp]
  • SP +10% [bless give more 5% sp]
  • Int +35 [same like cursed]
  • Matk +15% [cursed give more 5% matk]

Professor Cursed Ring:

  • Walking speed +15%
  • Reduce Damage taken from Demihumans by 5%
  • Reduce Vit def by 10%
  • HP +15%
  • SP +5%
  • Matk +20%
  • Int +35
  • Attack +20%

so i can say the PROS for blessed ring only give more 5% SP . but for cursed ring it gives 20% attack and also have more hp and more matk . from what i see actually cursed ring is for hybrid type [bolt + stave]

how about buff the blessed ring like giving damage for fire bolt by 20% or also giving other stats like make the prof more tank? because if the cursed ring is for bolt + stave type, blessed ring is for pure bolt type .

here is my ideas for more status on blessed

MATK from 15% into 35% / give more damage for firebolt by 20% / give more hp or more vit

A fully geared Prof in my opinion has more than enough MATK. When I had mine geared I was at 20k MATK, which with Imp cards, would make me hit 6-8k bolts on most people. With double bolt, thats 120k-160k each bolt.

My personal opinion is that Cursed should stay the way it is and the Blessed Ring should get an ATK boost of 15%, which is still 5% less than Cursed. But, in return, the Blessed ring gets added HP and reduction. This will be for more of a tank build.

So my suggested stats would look like this:

  • Reduce Vit def by 10%
  • HP +20%
  • Attack +20%
  • SP +10%
  • Int +35
  • Matk +15%

Reasonable. But I disagree with the added demihuman reductions. Each additional percent starts making a significant difference as it approaches 100%. No need for it when they have energy coat. Edited by Forum~

I was just thinking that way to make up for the additional attack on the Cursed Ring. But, you have a good point with Energy Coat. I'm rethinking and I think that just giving the 2 rings the same +20% attack boost would be best.

why not make those rings to have same effect? then people will just choose between the 2 for the looks. :3

i disagree with this .if the effects are the same why make 2 ring then .

i agree with adam, blessed can be for tank build, maybe adding hp and VIT but don't add the demi human reduction because it will be so OP later xD

How about buffing a different skill with the blessed? like heavens drive for example.

i agree ... because proff bless is like for bolt only.... adding also Heave Drive ..can also help...

If I'm not mistaken, all rings have demi human reductions by default.

Ryan, in my original post I put 8%, I corrected it once Forum~ pointed this out. And they do it's 5%.

Oh ok, cause if the 5% were to be removed cause of energy coat then the 5% on the HW ring will have to be removed as well and that would be a shame.

agree with ackerman, if you wanted to have the blessed rings as tank type better have more HP % and Vit,

I would say

Professor Blessed Ring:

  • Walking speed +15%
  • Reduce Damage taken from Demihumans by 5%
  • Reduce Vit def by 10%
  • HP +15% (from 10% - 15%, Tank)
  • Vit+ 10/15/20 (either way)
  • SP +10%
  • If on Energy coat Lessens SP taken away from being hit by 20% or 25%
  • Int +30 (lowered to 30 from 35 since stats transfered to vit)
  • Matk +15%

    I think this will be fair enough

I compared the two, and could blessed ring also maybe have some increased stave crasher damage? For example, the blessed have the 25% attack(which I'm assuming would benefit stave crasher, but I'm still understanding the game and correct me if I'm wrong) while having the lesser matk % (15%) from that of a cursed ring.

Stave crasher: You do an attack that calculates damage using your MATK instead of ATK but is decreased using enemy's DEF, not MDEF.

This skills overall damage is affected by cards you have in your weapon, weapon element, size and element of the target and it might miss depending on your DEX.
So nope, more atk doesn't help stave crasher damage.
