Aloevera Item. Has the effect of Provoking yourself. So everyone can get provoked via this item. I used this even on my sinx.

» Pat Posted May 5, 2009 Author Report Posted May 5, 2009 This is getting seriously annoying. Even with full reducts (rays, gr, tao,usakoring and overall 260vit) I am unable to survive an asura. I feel ignored and see nothing of the balance everyone was speaking of. It took like 2 weeks to boost the sniper HP and almost a year to boost gypsy's now. This can't be that hard, can it? Thank you! </rant>

Night. Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 I've been playing Gypsy before and I managed to get some tricks. When battling a champ, if you have Gypsy Harp, try using Jupitel Thunder to push him away. If he's on GTB, swap your accessory to a Marine Sphere Card, which does Magnum Break..It will push them away. If they use GTB, you can be on a good advantage, because that means that they are not wearing reduce damage card[usakoring]. If they have RSX on, their armor would be weaker, so with your AV, you might be able to kill him/her. If none works..Get 2 OL and wear Alice Card, and then Am mut card. Reflect=Death...Since they wanted to kill you so much, it looks like the only choice you got is to Reflect, which would annoy them. BTW, get Valkyrie Manteau +10 for more reflect. They should die, and then they would eventually stop because they would think it's useless to keep on suiciding xD

It's just not possible (devs and shit excepted). You can't even reduce the first asura with hip shaker because it's bugged and takes away 45 sp every 3 sec. Oh and you should read the description of the Valk cloak.
Rayray Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 I agree on hp boosts on gypsies. yeah I know there are good gypsies out there, but that doesn't remove the fact that they have low hp right? um even with all the reducts in the world to counter asura, that is just one skill to counter, there are plenty more skills that could kill you. and gypsies doesn't have an escape mechanism(unlike sinx with backslide) unless you count sinx card. most of the time(I am not talking of all the gypsies ok?) when you get near a gypsy and you attack her, she could die before she could react to what you did. especially if she doesn't change equips fast enough(example when she is wearing devs).

It's just that the first suggestion to boost gypsies has been made on October 19th. Now it's May and absolutely nothing has changed. This is just aweful. Oh& sorry if I sound demanding, I've just been trying to get my point across.

I think you'd understand how frustrated we are if you PK'd with gypsies which have <150k hp with 220> vit, 4k damage output on those who wear shields, AV which is a bitch to spam even with 3 kiels, tarot which fails alot and some not being effective, some dance skills not even useful on the server, and all around can be easily dominated in PvP. If you're going to ~balance classes atleast help balance gypsies instead of putting it off and not doing anything. I'm sure if Gypsy was a more popular class they would've been boosted by now but because it isn't nothings being done. :[
