  1. I would only agree with this if there was a steep fee to convert a LTD helmet back to an imperial token.
  2. So I'm here to present some data and I know this isn't a large enough sample size to draw a conclusion but here it is. Between 3 different players at 3 different times (all during floating rates), we all got varying amounts of BB, 10 BB for the first player, 22 BB for the second player, and 50 for the third player. And in each time, when we calculated the market value of the cards that we got compared to the event tokens we spent, we found that we gained about half the tokens we spent on buying the BBs. So conclusion? Buying BB nets you around half the value of what you spend to get it and you end up in the red. So what you're really paying for is the thrill. I would think an extrapolation of a Net Tokens versus Number of BBs would asymptotically converge to half the token value of the BBs you spend. Of course, a small number of BBs would be variable.

  6. I endorse your strategic planning. Well actually, scratch that. Wizard doesn't need to complete the knight quest. Give that to your Priest. Hope I wasn't too late to avert such a tragedy from occuring, ehehehee. Reason being, the knight set is transferable via storage. Since Priest is going to be your main, you should make that a knight, not your wizard.

  9. Changed your bullet points to numbers so other players and I can address them more easily. 1. History tells me that the PvP room was more lively when parties were allowed. As we all can agree, PvP room right now is dead and left for feeders to exploit. It's a no-brainer that partying should be re-enabled for the sake of activity. 2. You should be able to warp into it via @warp and the PvP NPC. However, you shouldn't be allowed to warp out of them or else people will just warp out when they're about to lose. 3. Resurrect (Kaizel, Yggdrasil leaf, Resurrect skill) are highly exploitable for feeding. This should of course be disabled without a doubt. 4. Disable storaging. Keep the GvG/LMS rules and maintain this environment. If you need to restock, relog. Also, some people need access to a controlled environment to hold proper duels. PvP Ladder that has storaging disabled is exactly what they need. 5. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT. Disable all kills from other rooms from counting for the PvP ladder tally. Only kills that were made in the square arena room should count. The town maps are too large and again, feeder exploitable. 6. Same point as 5. Another point, every single PvP room should have a player count displayed on the corner of your screen. Maii has told me that iRO (pre-renewal) does indeed have this feature so I'm sure it's implementable.
  10. This data structure in programming is called a queue. This is not a good idea because the queue will get filled up quicker than the queue can pop out. As a countermeasure, I suggest that this bc queue should be structured so that a single player can only have one bc in the queue and they can't add anymore bcs to this bc queue until their bc has been announced.

  13. Not really. I'm still standing by 4. Let me break down the scenario for you. Case 1: You don't know the spawn time. You use the item. If it's there, yey you got lucky. If it's not there, better luck next time. Case 2: You know the spawn time. You use the item. It saves you the trouble of warping to find it. Mission accomplished. For something that's a one time use/map item (that for most players is going to proceed like case 1), making it cost 24-36 hours worth of votes is way too overpriced.
  14. If this is to model a player, just go to for_fild01 and ask people to test your damage. To me, it sounds like unnecessary work for the GMs to implement something like this when all you need to do is ask. Edit: There's almost no need to maximize damage against MvPs as most are killed <1 minute . This sort of optimization is frivolous. I disagree with this suggestion.
  15. 10-15 is too much for an item that's basically going to tell you like 80% of the time that an MvP is not on that map. It should be cheaper. Enough to get one within one round of voting. So something between 4, 5, or 6 (obviously not 3 or less since that would allow them to get two or more of this item). 5 and 6 are a bit much which is why I concluded my choice at 4.

  18. My brother has this problem too. No idea how to solve it. In the meantime, you can just prtscrn->paste to image editor software->save as image file as a roundabout solution.
  19. No problem. Ask again if you need more information. EDIT: Priest is a good niche role that's undervalued here imo... though you'll need friends to really maximize their value. Stick with a class and get good at it is my recommendation.

  21. Or like you said, when the player leaves the map. This part is important. A player shouldn't be able to use this item between several different MvP maps. We need to keep this item strictly a one-time-use item.
  22. I can confirm that mini-bosses do spawn when using the bloody branch. Though, I don't see anything wrong with it.
  23. Wizard is an invaluable class to have for all sorts of farming purposes. As for farming for zeny, I recall farming for stone of sage or 3carat diamond back in my newbie days. Item ID for stone of sage would be 12040, 3carat diamond is 732 (use @ali command). As for what maps in particular, kill Isis in moc_pryd04 for 3carat diamond, I don't remember the stone of sage one. Also, to maximize your zeny-earning, I recommend you sell your loot using a merchant client because of a particular skill they have. http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?sk_name=overcharge&page=skill_db&sk_search=Search Regarding the uber monsters, the fact-of-the-matter is that they themselves are easy to kill. However, the mobs around them are aggressive and for a new player, hard to deal with. It might be good to use an isolation tactic by finding a lone uber monster. If you feel uncomfortable, monsters found in for_fild05 is always a safe bet too.

Getting to level cap is relatively easy. Easiest way to level would be to get leeched by another player. Otherwise, I'd recommend you melee or use the skill Holy Light to level up.
