The thread is about having one and why would we say no if someone who can actually make it happen suggests it as well. :P Actually, no, it wouldn't hurt. But with the lack of other reasons that people said no, I just elaborated on them.

I can see your point as well, and thought it wouldn't hurt, the mouthpieces are doing their job quite nicely as a substitute. A Hip Ribbon is only 50 vote coupons, 25 days if you do it diligently enough. Hopefully a male version will come out too. But the point in offering nice stuff in Vote Rewards is, the incentive to vote. If you take that away via a quick fix which is a questable, people won't need to wait, and some won't vote anymore, especially if that's all they're after. And no, don't say that they will still continue to vote. A lot only got what they needed and stopped. While definitely a good thing to cater to those ones that don't have time/money, the server has provided a lot of ways to get around a particular obstacle. Sure, some spend real money, but there are a lot like me who just enjoys the pace and goes with the flow. And I'm not exactly poor, either.

ahhhhhh i use those candy men!! i use!! But half of what dropped are old item IDs and they don't even work. Lol. I.e., the first Special/Super-Sugary/Sour you'll see in inventory if you have them all. For the recent Halloween event, well, it's good that at least, the disguise candies dropped from normal mobs (which people can just SG.) Which could be the "fun" most people who don't PvP will like. Looking like hideous monsters. LOL. But my incentive for killing those MVPs was getting the nice +stats candies. I like my +20 stats kthx. So that's where you cater for what different kinds of players would go into the events for. For Christmas, well, last years was mobs and a few (note, few, unlike this year's Halloween madness) MVPs that only had 100-130m HP. They were easily disposed of by groups and overall it was a nice event. But yeah, it's still disguises and stats. The equipment last year were put in the event rewards, and winning GM hosted events earned you Santa Bags which enabled you to transform into a Santa Suit! That was nice too. But then, a couple more ideas won't hurt, and especially since it's Christmas/holiday season there's room for more creativity, rather than Halloween's general scary/trick or treat stuff.

I agree with more redeemable prizes, and actually "novelty" items aren't such a bad idea. For one I collect Event Reward Hats, and I got the nice/semi-nice/really ugly ones. I mean, Death Angel FTW. LOL. But never getting Red Sunglasses / Mario/Luigi Hats, and all those other stuff. Heck, I even have White Petal and that cost like 20. The others' effects aren't that useful either, but I still got them. As much as items with effects are nice, maybe, just maybe, I'll even go with items w/o effects but still look nice. Like say, Modified Sunglasses. LOL. Not that they're THAT nice, and to top it off they don't have an effect, but then, who gets that shit? Only a few, and I'm one of 'em. LOL.

I don't know where the F that suggestion for a male-type backpack went but if I were anyone here, just go ahead and find it and bump it or whatever. Iirc it's been accepted by the general consensus. Come on, Leafring is from a castle and it looks nub. How much nub-er can you get. LOL. Heck a poring would look better. If ever there was something remotely close to a rucksack (Hip Ribbon ^_^) that looks okay on guys (that backpack thing), it would be on vote rewards. And if there's going to be a questable thing that'd go on lower, the mouth pieces were made for that reason (not bad stats, but if you want an overall boost then vote or save for it), and there's an accepted suggestion for questable wings. Almost everything's being spoon fed in this server, seriously. There is no way mouthpieces can be compared to normal official items, and they're easily questable. There's a ton of "free" stuff over at Vote Rewards, you just have to support the server and vote (even if you don't like it, even. -.-) An item that compares to a PvP Reward. Pretty neat and I can't really ask for more. An item that's half of a ruck's stats, but is "free"? No walk speed decrement too? Wow. Though there could be a male version, yes. Kay well, my point is, there should be a limit to what they'll offer at other levels. So you'll strive better to improve your gear status. Sure, you can have questable stuff, but then there should be always something better than you can't just grind your day away for. Upgrade to a Hip Ribbon / male-version thing, vote for it! Want more? Save up a couple hundred coupons and a bit more or so, and buy one! Or WoE for it! It's all about working your way to the top.

The rucksacks from WoE castles will just maintain a normal price, or maybe even fall eventually, because they are continuously getting into circulation (unless a guild leader hoards them all.) The fact that Archangelings were 1.5k when Hohen was new and now they're just 400-450 proves this point. So no, I disagree. It doesn't take much work to hit 300~ coupons (and a Leafring is just ~250.) And if I'm going for vote items, just save for Fluffy Wings. ;]
