  7. If you read through it, I believe the desired damage output is: TT = 15-20k CT = 30-40k And Bishop suggested 1700% instead of 2000% if I recall correctly on TT damage.

  11. I always main WS on low rate servers, so I'm actually disappointed with the Tomohawk skill on the current weapon. I can't wait to have it go back to a cart termination based class!
  12. I don't think you thought that one through. CT can be canceled out using decrease agility and dispel, of which everyone really has the ability to dispel. Also, you can push back WS to prevent them from using CT since you have to be up close to use the skill. That's why the tradeoff between high damage is plausible, since it has it's weaknesses. The problem right now is the Tomohawk abuse - it's long range, so WS don't need to be up close, you can BB them away, but they'll still be able to Tomohawk you from a ranged distance. Additionally, not everyone is willing to trade a belt and go defensive with an auto-pneuma accessory, so the high damage along with the range is absolutely crippling. The WS class was never designed to be ranged, which is why we are trying to decrease the long ranged effectiveness of the class - it's an odd play style on a class that is traditionally a close-ranged nuker with tanking abilities. @Xtopher - it's amazing to see how many WS vs WS fights I'm in, where I pneuma and the other WS just keeps Tomohawking, or Cart Revs me. It's like they don't even have CT on their hotkeys.

  14. I think it needs to be stated for these two people that - for the record - a lot of people agree'ing to these changes main and/or play the Whitesmith Class and use the Thor's hammer. And we all agree that it's overpowered right now and not really the right boosts for the right skills. This isn't a group of people that are complaining about fighting WS's and whining. This change isn't going to 'nerf' the WS class - in fact, I think it'll make them better in my opinion.
  15. Rankers are played two ways - VIT tanker/reflectors and STR kickers. They would get 330k HP with one tao on a STR build, so this weapon wouldn't make them OP at all. Think of it making them kind of like a SINX - DPS based with decent HP.
  16. I think the Taekwon Class as well as the Star Gladiator class should be able to equip this new weapon. I want to go back to playing Taekwon Ranker, but there's no Valk weapon for it yet! I like the stats of this suggested weapon, and it would work well for both classes.

  18. My Tomohawk damage does 30k at the moment against Frigg+Usako and SGW users, which is pretty much standard in PVP. If that percentage brings the damage down to 15-20k using double FBH, and a double TG, Incant, and Phree weapon, then that should be good. If not, then it needs to be adjusted. 20k should be the maximum damage for that skill in my opinion. CT should be buffed up to 30-40k - it should do more than the current Tomohawk damage since it needs to be up close to use it and needs all the buffs to use it correctly. I don't know what percentage that is, I'll let the 'masters' figure that out.
  19. Explain why you disagree then. I donated for them too, so that's really not a legit argument. Explain to me why a decrease in attack power of Tomohawk and an increase in attack power of CT would make it "go to hell".
  20. If its the solution I think you're referring to, you would need a client that reads Data folders which the Forsaken one does not to prevent sprite editing.
  21. I actually feel like we already came to a consensus with those last values I poste in that thread and were just waiting for it to be accepted. This thread is just working backwards in my opinion, but whatever.
  22. +1 to Bishop! Honestly I don't think the damage of WS are too overpowered right now, I think it's the way the play style changed for them. Tomohawk should not be their main skill, so I agree with decreasing the damage via this skill. WS are not long range attackers. Buff CT?! Yes please! This is really where they should shine and they should be doing 30-40k with this skill since its avoidable using pushback skills and decrease agility so those tactics can counteract the large damage done by it, rather than the ranged tomahawk damage that is hard to flee from. As far as pneuma goes? I don't know why they were given this skill in the first place. It makes sense if they didn't have throw tomahawk, but since they do, that's really the solution they use against ranged opponents, instead of Pneuma'ing the way to use CT up close. Endure would be better since it allows them to get close without being immune to damage. They traditionally are a tank class with high HP and high carrying capacity. So give them endure, don't mess with their HP. So I think tomohawk damage should really be doing around 20k and CT doing 30-40k since that will really give people more incentive to use CT and not tomohawk.
  23. I already agreed to this "boost" in the Tao suggestion thread...Did everyone forget it exists? It talks about changing back some of the +HP% modifications that existed before the Tao bug was discovered...
