    I don't believe I ever stated I wanted more people to play it. I said to those who want to play it - they should really express some dedication to the class. It's not just make one and play for one week, but it should be something they main along with another class or classes. I'm not arguing to create new opportunities for new people. I'm arguing the current system is fine the way it is. I don't like how you turn my posts into a misinterpretation of me finding new ways for people to become rankers. I do believe that's your prerogative, not mine, so don't say "I don't understand how your idea helps more people play rankers" because in the end, that's not what I want. Let me reiterate in a simpler way: If you want to play ranker, you better have a strong desire and commitment to make one, and then play one. Because I don't think it should become some class that people play for one week, and then delete to make room for another "joke" class - because with new weapons and buffs, it won't be a joke anymore. That's how you increase the desire to make a Taekwon ranker - thus making the ranking process seem actually worth it. I don't understand how my point can become any clearer. I think we all know this suggestion stems from simple curiosity combined with boredom: people are just yearning to try (KEY WORD TRY) ranker with no actual will to continue playing it. Let's face it - we've all done it. I've created and deleted and donated for multiple classes in the end to discard it and continue playing something more substantial - we've all done it. But I don't think the ranker ladder should change in any way since it'll just make the class into more of a joke. What the class needs is custom equipment to bring it up to par, to thus increase the incentive to carry through several hours of ranking and farming, to be called a Ranker. That is the way this suggestion should go. BTW: I am not relazy to ladder - if you want to reset it now just once and only once (and maybe again in another four years) but reladdering EVERY month? That's absurd. Like I said, let's just delete your Lord Knight class every month and have you remake it every month. Not worth the hassle.

  3. I don't farm, but I know its a huge thing on this server that's necessary for all the quests that we have so I really think this should be a priority. Its shown to be possible on another server, so let's implement it here!

    I think it's such a joke that the GMs that responded want to make the ranker class a competition to win some stupid "prizes". There's a ton of benefits to the class - enough to make it a great competitive PVP class. Especially in WOE and GVG where they can use the massive party count on one map to greatly increase their damage output. Why are we in such a hurry to throw away any possibility of new weapons to beef up the class, and turn it into something similar to the PVP ladder. It's a class people choose to make and play - not something we should be turning into a contest for new wings or whatever. My god.

    It would decrease the unattractiveness because you would have to rerank to make your taewkon a ranker when it resets. when I play my ranker I like to just log on, get my equipment from storage and start PVPing again. I'd rather make the ranker class a class that takes commitment rather then something that people just make for two weeks and then never play again. It's like if your main class is a Champion. Would you like it if every two weeks, or evey month, the server just decides to delete your character? Would you like to remake your Champion every month? Yes I'm sure it would be easy, but it's just not worth the hassle. In the system we have now, I'm forced to do a mission every so often to get another point to make sure im in the top 10. It just becomes one of those joke classes that people try out because of boredom and then no longer play. I'm still waiting for a new donation weapon for the ranker class since I see a lot of potential in the class. A new weapon would create a lot of incentive for players to do the ranking missions to become a ranker. That's what we really need. BTW I'm typing on my iPad so excuse all the grammar errors...

    I love playing my ranker - but I do have to say that beefing up the equipment available to them would increase the attractiveness in doing the ranking. It took me about a week (an hour each day) to get into the ranks about 6 months ago so anyone can do it. However, at this point there's no incentive to do it since its not a sserious class atm. I do disagree to this suggestion - if you think you want to play ranker then just do the ranking. 8/10 rankers no longer play so you can push em out. It should be something you commit to of course. Reseting it will just increase the unnattractiveness of playing one.
  9. My comment was not about the widening gap between players being rich and poor. Hell, I want it to be known that I have no problem with the gap - everyone knows I've donated a couple grand here, and all my items were bought from the token shop, cards and forsaken equipment included. If I'm caught arguing FOR equality, then I must be drunk. Anyways, I just wanted to clarify my post before. I was talking about how damage will get higher for just about everyone with enough tokens which is a lot of people. PVP damage and pace will increase so high, while player HP remains the same. The only thing that will happen is people will die quicker and duels will be shorter. Ill be sure to abuse it with a chain of buffed up AV spam or FAS spam. The only reason it works with guild hideouts is because guilds don't invite everyone - only their friends, and everyone else is an enemy. Not everyone is running around doing high amounts of damage to each other. Works out better for me if the npc goes by the rentable pass idea though, makes it cheaper in the long run since you just buy it when you log on and get unlimited use for that duration. :)
  10. I don't necessarily want this to happen - it reminds me of how Buffer NPCs in Lineage 2 ruin gameplay by increasing damage to high levels without increasing HP so people just die quicker. I guess I would be okay with it since I just donate for more tokens when I need to buy yggs. So in that regard I don't see how its entirely not elitist, but whatever.

    Disagree. I don't think there are any good reasons for this. It won't unbalance gameplay but at the same time, its not necessary.

    I think they're fine the way they are - no need to change em. I hate when changes are made to really old equipment, it just alters the value and everything.

    Tengu and Necromancer Hood effect has already been nerfed. The effects don't stack with the new one-handed Valkyrie gun, and the Forsaken Gunslinger Pistols are two-handed, so you can't wear a Friggs Shield with Usakoring on it. BTW, where's the Sniper HP bonus? Is it going to be the same as stalker? Assassins getting an HP bonus? Jesus Christ that's an insane suggestion. Assassins already do a high enough DPS right now by just using one weapon, and one shield. When they go double-handed, their damage is quite high, and they can backslide and cloak away from danger. It's a handoff good assassin players accept in order to get high burst damage. I wouldn't change that. I would bring every class back to the same amount except for: Stalker/Sniper - 60% (I agree with that; Stalkers have high reduction and had really high HP) Gunslinger - 60% (Agreed, since the new Valk weapon changed their durability, and damage output) The other classes I would leave the same as before.

      The option probably is missing for users to set it to this one. Not much you can do(can't find a skin setting in settings either so yea).

    I would have to agree with changing it back to the way it was even if it was bugged. It was like that for so long with no suggestions to "nerf" it, it now seems like a huge change.

    I believe Increase Weight Limit for Gypsy and Clown class (just the class not a specific weapon) was rejected prior to the release of the newest Valkyrie weapons. The only reason why this suggestion was made was because the new whip and guitar still do not do enough damage to players with Friggs and SGW (NO, NOT FULL REDUX, JUST THE BASICS). You can note this topic here: http://forum.forsaken-ro.net/index.php?showtopic=20044 by NovemberThunder which calls for an additional 10% boost in AV damage, making it 20% to compensate for the weapon's current weak boosts. This suggestion is specifically for a group of Valkyrie Weapons, not the elite or renter weapons, since players are not satisfied with the current boosts given to the class. The weight boost would just be an addition to bring the Clown/Gypsy talk weapons up to par with the other class weapons. [EDIT] I went back to read the topic: THIS "Current normal yggseeds carriage is only 200. [means 100 for yggberries] Isn't it obviously too little? I suggest 300 yggseeds minimum. Means please add around 200 weight for these classes." is a completely vague suggestion and could have been construed in too many different ways, like just a default increase weight limit skill on the entire Dancer/Bard branch of the Archer jobs. I think just adding it to a specific set of weapons, moreso speaking the BEST set of weapons on the server validates the boost since these weapons cost a high amount of tokens, or real life money.

  20. I think it's because status effects can't be passed onto a person through Critical attacks. To change this, it would probably require a source edit, which isn't going to happen.
