Damn, I should have just stayed out of it, lol. I was just doing a pun with l2aims words. :/ The reason so many people flame in the wake of your comments, I believe, is cause the way you phrase things. You can't say a class "sucks" or "does not require any natural skill" and not expect to get shot back at. =P Everyone who plays that class as their main would be offended. It's like saying all their skill and effort they put in is moot. People will flock to defend. And what is wrong with wanting to start a thread like this? Let them do it in peace. I know when I started this server, I appreciated knowing Fuzzy and Irrelevant were tough LKs based on the community. I looked up to them, observed them, and learned from them as a result.

No hostility meant (I never mean for that). You're a really cool guy Dama. But beside that point, this is a best Pali thread and honestly Stride has really impressed me. I am simply stating my opinions that it is a discredit to him who actually used some neat little tricks that no one else uses. Pali's are quite more than just the typical reflect/berry, and they have more available to their arsenal than just sacrifice. Edit: I think i should add. I've seen neat little tricks and ideas from other Paladins (i.e. Tran has used some unique strats that I see lots of potential in the right situation, yet no one else uses them).

Damascus, I'm gonna have to GREATLY disagree with you there (to the point where it has compelled me to respond). Uhm, pali's do not suck. I'm going to steal a line from l2aim and say... learn2play. ^^ My vote: I agree with Geldaz, Stride has been the only paladin to leave a strong impression on me in terms of PvP. He actually understands (and uses) one of the greatest aspects of that class. Sorry, Damascus, but I'm replying cause I always hear you say how the class sucks (and/or requires little variation/skill). But there is so much to the class that no one uses. They can be extremely powerful, and Stride is walking proof. He is one of the toughest guys I've ever faced. P.S. Limitless can pwn pallies cause he actually practices and predicts and counters. But you can also counter back. I've seen Stride kill Limitless (and 7 other limitless guild members in an LMS) alone.

Have you ever been on the end of a 3 kiel bolt spam? The damage possibilities are crazy (especially with so many ways to increase matk%). Plus there are skills like JT that knock back while doing high damage.... The fear for some people with the GTB nerf was that mage classes would overrun the server... But I think the removal of 1 kiel should make things manageable. Only actual implementation will show how it will really turn out.

I believe they wanted to do High Wiz pierce card way for several reasons: 1. Against MVPs, GTB will still block all magics 2. Against players, they need to waste a headgear slot to get through GTB. So no 3x kiel spam ownage.

Yea, good luck finding a server even half as good as this one. Gear has always played a role in PvP. But skill plays an even greater role, putting that gear into effective use. Even poorly equipped, a skilled player can make up significantly for any lack of gear. The people who have already responded to this thread are skilled players that can rock fully donor equipped opponent with NON DONATES. And the elite quests aren't that hard. I've done the LK one like 7 times already. They implemented this to help the non-donors along (while they work their way up to donation gear). o_o
