Well, the item was never meant to have the effect that it has ( as stated in the description ) people were allowed to donate for them because they had a very nice look to them. The description did have a time limit after all, though I do understand why people would be upset.

So basically, no healing items. Period?

It's a xray issue, the fact that the item is ingame shows that server-side it's updated. Apo should fix this very soon.

Yes, he can fix NPCs/items as well as add them, basically the stuff I use to do but no longer can due to college.

The original sprite maker just completely disappeared off the map, if we can't get a hold of him we might have to just change the sprite.

That's for a job, not for a skill. You could in theory change the damage a skill does on a certain class when equipping THAT particular item, this has never ( to my knowledge ) been suggested. The AD breaking rate has been changed since Sunday ( along with various other Elite Weapon changes that we will announce shortly ). I don't recall any acid bomb damage changes being made, Ophelia the sprites for the elite weapons have been done long before you joined the staff by Sensation, the only problems to changing them is that people would need to exchange their current items, for a new item ( which displays a sprite ). We are still working on an effective way of doing so.

Actually, the way eAthena was coded is that bits and pieces of it are scattered over a series of files, making rewriting skills a potential risk ( making certain conditions not meet causes a series of crashes ). The problem isn't that no one knows how to do it ( I along with a few others know C ) the problem is the ongoing issues that it would cause which is why we prefer to not modify it. Going around saying "If you know how to code, you could fix the skill itself without breaking / interfering with other skills." and "If you don't know how to, it's going to break some other skills." isn't accurate at all as I've mentioned above the issue is not C knowledge, the issue is how eA is coded from the ground up and with their devs constantly adding sloppy/unfinished code it's probably only going to get worse...

Okay, we seriously need suggestions on how to organize the donation page with example if possible. We are going to offer alot of different methods of donation ( maybe 3~4 including paypal/western union ) so we need a good way to organize them. I was thinking once the person donates they are forwarded to a page where they put in their username, how much they donated and once they do that a thing appears where they can pick what they want, for example a orc load card, they check that button and maybe to the side they can pick if they want more than one ( then that script automatically emails us, you'd be surprising how many people forget to send us the right information ). Could the community lend a hand here with this? We need suggestions for the entire interface. Thank you! =]

The topic has a specific purpose, stop spamming it/going off topic. I played NLRO for a while, ( since 2004~2005 till 2007 ) it was an amazing server ( at it's prime ), I will miss it dearly. I wish I could get their forum database and keep it as a memory, maybe sometime upload it to a test IPB forum and view old topics and remember some great times with some dear friends.

Well Hollywood is making movies based on games. I think it's safe to say they are running out of ideas, when you think about it stuff like this is what apparently sells nowadays. It's a real shame. =\

I like the idea, specific details and input from other members would really help. I think it has potential.
