Don’t worry now, because I’m here
Put your lighter down
I’ll kill your fears
Stop smoking that poison stick
My pretty stoner
It’s just making you sick
Put down the vile weed
Walk away
Let me be what you need
Can’t you see you’re sprinting toward death?
You’re killing yourself
With every tainted breath
Find your will to survive
My pretty stoner
Throw it away and be alive
I care
But if you don’t
Tell me so I won’t be there
When the addiction takes its toll
Takes your mind
And consumes your soul
Your body torn asunder

The gentle touch of your fingertips
This feeling deep inside
When I feel the passion of your lips
Reminiscing on the days so few
Though they seem like an eternity
Every step I've taken with you
Has brought out the best in me
Turning the pages to look forward together
More days of happiness, fun and laughter
May this not be an unhappily never
But a happily ever after...
Broken
A little more on the depressing side...
Walk along the forgotten beach
Watching sandy footprints fade
Look to the horizon where I can’t reach
AS I sit where we both once laid
This left behind, now so simple to remember
We sat alone gazing at the night sky
Asleep in your arms as the fire dies to ember
Soothed by the ocean waves’ constant sigh
You promise me forever and a day…
Whether too early or too late
You were gone before Labor Day
People tell me they can relate
All of them reeking of hypocrisy
Inhale, exhale – all I can hear.
Alone, where the world can see
Crying a Red River of 10,000 tears
Ghosts of the past haunting my mind
Searching for the truth that will never be
For a serenity I will never find
Broken without a remedy.

Faith has all but disappeared
How do we run out of time
When there express lines?

The penguins have stolen our sanity
Society run by mice instead of men
Where’s Pied Piper when you need him again?
Schools have dress codes policies
For certain things you can’t let other people see
They post the rules in bold red, on the office doors
But they still let the cheerleaders dress like whores

Babies give birth to more babies
A solid yes translates to no’s or maybe’s
Too much focus on bearded ladies
Not enough on the cows with rabies
