Eh Juan brought it up to me forgot that frigg shield was 60% >< Im going to have to agree on 80% also. But what I want to know is what is the reduction based off of ? Is it based off of can't go pass this amount of reduction from Demi Humans or Medium Sized Monsters or what? Will we be allowed to use rays or will they become useless? Will my skull ring become useless since its based off of reduction of elements and 7% neutral would be kind of lame for a rare ass thing to get super nerfed. It should be 80% max reduction from Players and you can stack side reductions also.

Snipers keep there damage on reducts and take no damage? Are you kidding me Im using skull ring dev hat and sbw and my damage drops massively and I loose the ability to fas. My damage drops 6k each hit from putting reducts on and ill just do 5k hits on auto attack and 10k each hit with double strafing. Idk how your saying loose little to no damage. For clowns they only get the hat but then you can just stone curse them. The only class that can make reduction combo gay is a clown with the bow. Thats the only gay thing And what It looks like your doing now is just saying because these classes can use reducts properly and I can't they shouldn't be allowed to. As I said before No class has extreme power over any other.

If this suggestion gets accepted I smell a bunch of people rage quiting due to imbalance >> You may think the reductions are unbalanced but genesis put a lot of time into making it so the server is balanced. No class has extreme power over any other. Like in the real world if you trade your armor out for just chain mail you'll move faster and have an advantage of using your strength easy. But if you keep your armor on you'll have muscle constriction making your attacks be weaker but you'll have the benefit of having your armor protecting you. Having reductions is basically just being a tank class. And tanks are supposed to be able to tank a lot of damage. If the suggestion gets taken all we will have is a bunch of dps classes and everyone will just bitch about not having any option against a guy who puts out more dps than they do and the eventually just quit playing because of the imbalance. Now onto your woe factor since the damage has been cut by 40% trying to kill someone takes forever even on my prof when im mind breaked in the regular time that I would kill 8 people with mind break on I've maybe killed two and then the rest will just gtb and even if you have a sniper or sinx or champ to go against the gtb guy guess what 40% less damage they can tank the damage even with a gtb on. Once reductions are added into this formula it is a little insane but even when I go skull aura, dev hat, frigg shield, sgw, gr detale. I have to put an agility belt on and sacrifice a str belt for a vit belt. So my attack is maybe at 1800? With thana my damage will be so low to the emp its basically trying to kill some one with a feather. And even then With the amount of people on the emp I still drop really fast. Want to know why? Because this is what most sinx use in the emp room on defense. They use edges!!! and guess what Clowns have there gay ass bows for coma chance and tarot coma chance also reducing attack damage. Guess what? Your also on a gospel so people who get str will dominate your ass even if you've got reductions on and then guess what? 0 atk then guess what? try to run no you don't you can't move because your stun locked in and the gospel has slowed your ass down more than a fat guy trying to run a mile. Now please I would love to see an argument against this and ! since Chris asked for a pvper opinion which it seems you guys have ignored my opinion That I posted for every class try and add a response with that in there to. I want to see a fail retaliation please :).

Well since I just made a suggestion of a woe branch off Im going to push this idea :P just because I want to see what you think about it veracity. http://forum.forsaken-ro.net//index.php?showtopic=19033&view=findpost&p=219058 But since this topic is about the current standing woe ill go back onto topic :( #1, Most people who came on to the server just to woe have stopped coming on just for woe, reason being? WoE has lost a lot of purpose in it now since the items from it are all the same and nothing has changed in quite a while. So why not change up the style in which we woe. Before we had the 195 aspd Guardians that would do pretty decent damage. I say bring them back, even though I hated them when I was a breaker there it's a change. Also the idea of new castles and reducing castles has been put in before for new drops etc ( trying to plug my idea right here /no1 ) Thats a strong point to keep people playing since most people here have been waiting for years and years for the unreleased emps to become released and only black is so far but you basically have to wait a year to get it and dedicate your ass off. #2 People also woe just for cocky points ( im currently at 198412 cocky points ) so people will see there guild on flag. We have the guild hideout which idk what the fuck happened to it but it just ate shit and died. Why not branch off it? Everyone of our castles could have an area like the guild hideout where people from that guild can just chill and relax, and maybe put a buffer in there that only does blessing agility impositomanus and kyrie edison. Not that great of bonus and would need quite a bit of work for each of the castles to have these but it would keep some people motivated just for having the buffs I guess. Could also make the Euro Woe castle have a stronger buffer since its a less active castle. #3 I like tacos, I don't care what anyone says I love home made tacos and Bakers Hot Sauce! Nines has spoken....though not very persuasively this time.

Hmm poringly your idea with the scarf is pretty cool, theres been a lot of scarfs that are wrapped around the face as a mask and still have the ends flying behind. That would be a pretty cool expansion off of that.

Alright, I pvp more than most people here since your asking for a pvpers opinion ill post mine. And btw I use every class so I can cover the perspective for generally all of them in every type of build. Snipers - Once the person puts a sgw on the dmg drops by a ton. Reducts are annoying while pvping on this class, but you can strip off from that person and once reducts are gone they drop harder than any other class when stripped. Champions - Obviously there going to fail vs a guy with reducts, but they have root and most reduct classes have to use melee, and even if they don't melee they have pneuma. And then they can just gang if all else fails. Or try to coma / strip them. Clowns/Gypsies - Doesn't matter to them they can coma / break stuff / freeze / spam like nuts. Stalkers - Kind of a down side since they usually are the damage reducers but hey they have strip so no problem for them. Profs - I have no problem really I just spam so much and use so little sp I can make up for the damage for every one ygg I use to refill my sp they will have used 3 to help there life. Wizards - Everyone just gtbs them and then drop them hard so why even bother brining them in Priest - No pvp value to compare on reducts Assassins - They have a problem....not. Now they have the crit sword and even when I put on reducts it does quite a bit of damage. And this is the class that uses reducts the most for woe etc etc. Also has the highest conventional dps. Lord Knights - They can carry tons of yggs or seeds and put dmg out for a long time also have vital break and joint break. No real damage done to them. Paladins - No pvp worth really and even if they do go pvp style for matyr they can just gospel strip off, gospel the persons dmg away, make them super slow, also have shield chain, can reduce damage, and reflect strip. Ninjas - LOL they bypass everything. Gunslingers - They die to everything but the damage they put out on reducts sucks just like snipers White Smith - They suck overall also. Creators - There damage takes more of a hit than anyone on reduct users but if they break armor or wait to break armor they can win on them. Taekwon - Sucks. No one uses them and there dps sucks anyways Star Gladiators - ^^^^^^ I think I just covered every class and the only main problems with reducts is Range users / Alches. Champions can still kill them they just have the be patient. If its a regular pvp like a reduct sniper vs a champion. I'll probably win on my sniper but they have pneuma. Reduct Champion vs Champion. The one with the reduct will loose because there damage will be low, there hp will be low and there aspd will be low unless stats are setup for that but then even there asura speed will be slow cause of the lacking kiel, or then they can be stone cursed. Have I humored you enough? ~Edit~ Btw Genesis has put in a lot of [ if ] scripts for items like for example. If im wearing frigg shield with usakoring sgw skull ring and dev hat the reducts will be taken from 95% to 80% if also adding combat knife or soaring bird taken to 90%. To make sure theres no 100% reducts and even if there dmg will suck.

If it came down to having to be an all out pvp war like how it is in iro to get to the emperium and break it then it should just in fact be like iro. People will be the defense and the emperium will break in a heart beat. If its just people trying to kill a whole guild and then having to break an emperium with mass amounts of hp it would take multiple deaths and take forever since people can just @warp back to there flag and pop back up speed pot back and go back to kill you again. Thats how it is in iro. Kill defense - Emp breaks in like 10 seconds. rinse repeat. Ohhh Im all for it ^^ Anyways back onto topics. The mass damage output of people would just make people ygg like crazy if there were no reducts. Champs would be op snipers would dominate in mass crowds always and no chance to counter. Clowns would get everyone in one spam out basically.

The Keepers of Forsaken City Alright, since I was reading topics recently about woe and stuff and idea came to me to make the server even more unique that could attract more players and keeps a fun sense to it. It would be some source editing but not that much really <.< Now onto the idea! The basic idea is like having a War of Emperium but for Fcity. The King of Fcity has announced a new game to the whole world where he will be holding a contest called The Keepers Cup In this contest that will be hosted two times a month guilds all over the world will come to prove there worth in a competition of valor and might. While in the Keepers Layer ( Basically is a woe map ) which is inhabited by legendary beast that used to be pets to the gods protect the Grand Emerald ( Basically an Emperium could just be recolored to be purple and maybe made to look like an actual emerald not hard to make a stationary mob think Barbie could do it ) The guild that has proven their worth and conquered the legendary beast and succeeded in claiming the Grand Emerald will be known as the winners of the event. ( Could actually be set up as an event to take out source editing ) The guild that has proven to the King of Fcity will be granted access to the Room of Unknown Treasures ( A Treasure room....dur ) Side Ideas Monsters: The monsters inside the layer could be golden recolored mobs like, metal archers, gryphons, chimeras, and hydras. The monsters could all have maybe 1 - 3 million hp and do 10k hits with 190 aspd with 50 monsters on each level. ( Would be wise for players to just kill them instead of waste yggs trying to tank and run past them. ) Metal Archers: Could use focus arrow strike level 20 Hydras: Could use Close Confine Chimeras: Could use Decrease Agility Level 15 Gryphons: Could be int based and use Kamatchi Map Layout: Could be setup like the first level of the pyramid to get to the theif guild on each level, people will have to find there way through a maze to get to the next level ( Would require to be done every time hosted but maybe 2 portals on each map and Genesis could interchange which portal warps to the next level to make it so people have to actually kill the monsters and check every portal. ) And if you get sent into the wrong portal you fall into a trap room where basically you'll die. Once the others get to the next room ( Suggesting be 3 rooms to take to the players to the Grand Emeralds Chamber ) They will have to go through the same process as before until they reach the Grand Emeralds Chamber. Room of Unknown Treasures: This room could drop unreleased emperiums, golden valkyrie helms, introduce new items, Etc etc etc. ~Edit Section~ Edit 1/18/2011 - Suggestion for a lock in on the event. So when players die they can't get back into the area making more of a requirement for having a party and participation in killing of monsters. - - Suggestion for GMs to be on the watch for Lone Man breakers this event is meant for participation and not for snatching methods everyone should be in a guild either dedicated to this event or in a main stream guild- ~ Consumable Suggestion From Monsters ~ Legendary Moss: A mossy substance found on creatures of the old times, It is said to be beneficial for increasing many powers. Increase all stats by 20. 35%. Drop chance from Gryphons and Chimeras. Forsaken Tentacle: A tentacle that has been broken off a golden hydra, It is said to increase attack strength greatly. Increase Attack Power by 200. 20% Drop Chance from Hydras. Mythical Endowment: A fur from the mythical Chimera that can greatly increases your thought process. Increase Int by 40 and Dex by 20. 20% Drop Chance from Chimeras. Emerald Chip: An Archer has snatched a piece of the Emerald when no one was looking the power this chip holds is immense. Increase all stats by 20 and cast lvl 10 assumptio till dispelled. 15% Drop chance by Metal Archers. ~ Drops From the Room of Unknown Treasures ~ Maybe class cards? Or a new cert drops 20% chance from each box and can turn them into a gm for new class cards like master forger. Tell me what you think :O I know genesis said he would do woe 2.0 with a server update before but this would be something interesting also a player attractor yada yada

x.x i can't read it, its just a giant block of text >< Alright somehow managed to read it and Disagree strongly. If reductions where lowered / taken out the server would just be overwhelemd by champions. The only counter would be rays and even then if the champ has a thana or a good build it can kill through rays easy. Reductions are needed since the server has its own balance to it already if we removed the reductions the balance would be thrown off and classes like stalker / clown would be owned by asura instantly. Some classes can reduct to a point of ridiculousness but I feel this post is also coming off of the gvg event where cole has a ton of reducts on and wont die in gvg. In woe reductions are an absolute need because of how big some guilds are example trans will have 30 people in there room, now since there isn't a huge amount of players on fro we get like one guild with maybe 12 (honestly think thats the biggest size aside from trans atm) who will charge in there maybe kill like 4 - 5 people try to get to emp and just get cluster fucked. If they have reductions maybe they can tank till they run out of yggs but hey thats the only way the emp will get broken. But if they don't have any reductions they will drop in a heartbeat before they can even get one ygg out. Reductions are what balance the server, some like stalker are over the top once it is just stacked to the point of almost 100% no damage but even stalkers can die with there reductions.

Its unfair why agree, look at the odds 32 vs me edu cole som some other dude and 2 random noobs who drop in a heartbeat. It's us and our alts vs lets say 28 individual players all charging at once. The only way to win in that situation is hit and run. When Phantasm was going on and vsing influence they ran like little pussies without any attempt to fight back and we didn't bitch about it we just went and killed the little son of a bitch. In this instance in which the topic was made the guy was atleast attempting to pvp and not just running. Try this. Nut up or shut up.

Could be a upgrade emp quest to, like have blue emp be needed to make a frozen emp which will increase damage with water element purple emp upgrade to earth emp orange to fire green to wind...that would be pretty fun for a branch off quest. Would have to be hard quest though.

Black Kobold Hat, (This example was just made for what it could look like....I know it sucks but its a tablet lol.) Also how about elemental emperiums? (I know emperiums have been done enough but could use them as like lower emps, actually be questable and different stats) Ie Frozen Emperium, could have one with fire effects one with lightning effects earth style etc etc. also add bonuses to those elements.
