In the first part of our holiday update, we wanted to take some time and celebrate the growth and success of the server over the past 7 years. Forsaken City now has a more festive feel for the holiday season! From snowmen to piles of presents under the tree - and even a sleigh - there's plenty to celebrate in this special map by Justice! Be sure to update your patchers to enjoy it! Try your luck with the Gachapon! Forsaken City has a new minigame! As part of the celebration, a new Gachapon vending machine will grant you a random item when you insert 10 special poring coins. Try your luck for the grand prize! Possible rewards include: 1. Cute Poring Gachapon (90%) 2. fRO Poring Cake Hat (20%) 3. fRO Poring Party Hat (10%) 4. Wolf Pup (5%) 5. Lama Love Hood (1%) 6. Cute Poring Hod (1%) 7. Poring Letter (1%) Face the Pori Princess Squad! Just when we thought the Great Poring Rebellion had finally been stopped, a squad of Pretty Pori Princess magical soldiers have risen up to defend their Poring Kingdom! Race to be the fastest person to defeat the Pori Princess Squad in this fun new raid! The top 5 fastest players will be kept in a leader board and will receive something special*! Only 2 players may be in a party to enter this raid. Collect all the Pori Princess Raid drops! The Pori Princess Squad may be trying to punish you, but they sure do look cute while they're doing it! Now you can collect all 4 unique hairpins, dropped by select Pori Princesses in the new raid! Each Pori Princess has a 25% chance of dropping her unique hairpin. Each Poring has a 25% chance of dropping the Special Poring Coin that used for the Gachapon! Help defeat the Poring King and his Rebellion for good! Looks like we not only have to deal with Pori Princess Squad this year, but also another uprising of Porings! Help Genesis, Veracity and Dream protect Forsaken City and fight off the Great Poring Rebellion of 2014! So is it safe to assume that next will be the snipers and champs then? I wonder how long this server last.. Genesis Posted December 21, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2014 There really shouldn't be much of a difference for legitimate players. Macro users, would notice a significant delay. There are two types of skill delays, client side and server side. Client side delay is determined primarily by the sprite animation. Server side delay for the skills is determined by timer calculations. (You can spam x skill after y after cast delay). All we did was modify this delay to be on par with client side delay. Thereby preventing third party programs or macros from being effective. Macro users (and other third party programs) will be at a disadvantage to legitimate players. All these skills changes were tested with by myself, and 3 other players. All from different area of the world (1 from US, 1 from Europe, 2 from different regions of Asia). All of these players knew the skills being modified, and knew the class well. My suggestion would be to give the changes a chance, we can tweak skill delays as needed.
