Gunslinger Kiel Delay Caped

good day GM's

i suggest to make gunslingers kiel delay capped to 80% - 90% again or atleast 85%. so players play gunslingers again, and for gunslingers to wear forsaken soldier card, because any char can counter gunslingers by using puppetring and puppetring is so easy to obtain. and if GS choose to wear EvilDruid to be immune, if they encountered Bio,Champ,Sniper or any fire Converters there dead unlike all chars that dont need evilDruid because the can wear Fsold.

The point in changing GS Kiel delay to 80% with 3 is because you were unable to move while GS spammed desperado. And I don't understand what you mean here "and for gunslingers to wear forsaken soldier card, because any char can counter gunslingers by using puppetring and puppetring is so easy to obtain." I'm positive the Forsaken Soldier Card isn't class restricted.

Then that's already 85%, he wants to sacrifice being immune to stone for -5% cast delay that's his fault.

how come you cant move on spam of desperado gs? many people use detale card(land pro) then desperado is no more, and even gs wear 3kiel+uber drops they got 85% and no gs can spam if enemy uses puppetring. or puppetring+asura = dead

Detale card only procs when hit by magic. You cant use it vs gs since despe is physical.

What he said ^ , maybe you should try reading card effects. That seems to be the problem here. And with 3 kiel spam desperado you are unable to move during the spam because you're basically stunlocked. GS are fine where they are at now. Every class has their counters.

they cant move out of desperado because GS lately got 90% Delay reduce, but now its 80% w/uberdrops its 85%. in 85% w/ uberdrops we can move away from desperado. so why it cant change delay capped by GS to 80%-85%? so GS can wear fsold at the same time like other chars.and GS is not fine now, because of its great disadvantage, set of GS is set to 1.3k - 1.5k so how can you say that GS is good now?

Cheap doesn't mean the set isn't good. Ninja set cost almost the same price and I think ninja is an overpowered class, but that's just me. Learn how to switch headgears from uber drops to Fsold if the person is using puppetring.

Nah I have friend who played GS and his damage is really decent and can kill geared player, but ofcourse not every class he can kill. And I think GS is fine the way they are. If you have friend try to ask him help you using clown and use magic string. And you'll see how OP GS is.

so every time i pvp i will only rely to magic string?LOL. and even thou i got decent damage w/thana on. its easy to escape, they change GS capped to 80% thinking that GS got a good spam that can stunlock to death and thats how desperado really works. its okay to reduce its delay but 80% is too much. thats why 1-3 players only plays GS on the server

edited* and how about players that got high ping that we cant control that wants to play GS?

I already fought for the 80% cap on your delays guys(It used to be 70-75%? I cannot remember). I am not sure if we can increase it more, as Genesis himself said that 90% will not be allowed.

yea, my point is, i wish that GS kiel cap got 85% then remove effect of UBERdrops for GS, so GS can wear Fsold like other jobs. if cant make 90% because of what they called stunlock then please make it 85% so GS dont need to sacrifice the slot of headgears for UBERdrops.

The recent update has cleared up the issue between using both Uber Drops and Kiel cards. GS' Desperado shouldn't be that much of a problem now?

lol 80% sufficient to kill? what?kill newbies? haha. and desperado got random chance of bullet to hit on enemy. you guys dont want it to be 85% coz you dont use GS. try using GS

I don't want 85% because 80% is good enough. People stop playing a class once it becomes a class that actually takes strategy or half a brain to use, try using your half first then post a topic.

For some reason, I find that funny. Just because there are less people that plays the class does not mean it is weak. When I played Biochemist 2 years ago, there are literally NO biochemist except me and Enrique in pvp room nor in fild01 because of its really easy counter. Biochems were mostly used for fcp only. I stuck with the class for a long time until eventually, for some reason, people used the class more.

Stick with the class. That is all I can say.

i agree on the suggestion stated above... 85% spam rate of a gunslinger wont coz any lag. tested and proven.. several months ago gm genesis have reduces our spam by 10% because of lag problems causes by desperado during woe (according from the accusation of some) but however only improve our damage by 5% only... that is why it is justifiable to increase our spam rate by additional 5% to compromise the lost of spam. thank you...

80%... only newbies dies at 80% soam rate of mine. me myself needs a higher spam rate to kill a professional player like rayray to be honest. if gm genesis wont allow 90% spamrate of gunslinger its fine, :) but perhaps he can accept the 85% spam rate proposal...

Then maybe that's the reason you can't kill anything. Not the set delay, simply you having high ping and being unable to spam properly yourself.

It wasn't a nerf, like I told you in guild chat you were abusing a bug by using uber drops. It was never supposed to stack with kiel cards and I'm pretty sure you knew that as well. So it's not a nerf it's a bug fix. I fought you quite a bit while you abused the bug and simply all you did was spamming desperado. Gunslingers have so much more to them that you could've used but you didn't attempt using anything else. I think the delay is fine, you just need to start using your brain to play the class instead of headlessly spamming one skill. Edited by Igopewpew

Well airi, you were indeed there before us, but when I came back, you were using your other characters more than your bio. I think i remember seeing you for the first time using either champ or WS. I would still say that you were the reason(and a really big help) on me making a hybrid bio.

I will say this, what Gunslingers need probably is a new set of weapons so that they can stop relying on pistol skills.

Rather than "spammability", I think this suggestion thread is primarily concerned with the loss of DPM due to the decrease in maximum after-cast delay allowed (which is apparently 80% as of now).

There's really only two solutions to solving DPM:

1. Increase total damage per unit time (increase damage).

2. Increase the frequency of damage dealt (decrease after-cast delay).

Since there's this limit to how much after-cast delay Genesis will allow due to the lag it causes, this rules out option 2. However, option 1 is still a viable choice. Why not increase the DPM by increasing overall GS damage instead of fighting over this after-cast delay that will never happen? As I see it, the former is a lot easier to argue for than what this thread is trying to do right now.
