Several items have a similar appearance compared to other items that is why it is easy to scam people just by putting the unwanted item in the trade. Items wont lose their current effect but will just look different. I don't know what sprites to use but hopefully the community or the GMs have something in mind. I'll be listing the items and the items that they look like. I'll update this post for other items that needs to be changed. Again, just post the items that needs it sprite to be changed and I'll be updating it. We can also just put the 'L' at the bottom right for some of those items if it would make it much easier but for the other ones, it won't work. Just to share. I was actually going to suggest the trade system wherein the item name is shown in the trade but it was part of renewal as confirmed by Gen. So, scrap it. Ciao! One of which is droppable and used for the quest while the other one is useless and can be bought from an npc
Captain Obvious Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 Although excited players/newbies are the usuall victims of such scam, I do agree changing the appearance of items with identical sprites if possible. Well, its always best to double/triple check the item/s description you are trading to avoid scams.

There are always people getting scammed by look-alikes. I agree with ChainBreak's "adding L's" for Legendary counterparts. Simple and effective. The other items should be given some kind of visual change.
