Nerf Equipment That Are Able To Help Certain Class Achieve 100% Skill Delay

This is the ticket conversation between me and GM regarding diablous robe being nerf and what i suggested to be fair.

As stated by you,

This is done because people obtained 100+% after skill cooldown reduction because of the armor. This was never the server's intention. Kiel cards and expert rings were nerfed for a reason. We are selective in which classes need the after skill delay reduction to work and which are perfectly fine without it. This armor allowed classes that are perfectly fine without it to still obtain the 100% and thus it has been disabled. "

I truly understand what you mean by it, however given a thought that there are only 3 classes that are able to use this robe and the robe itself only has a slot. Moreover it does not stack with king/knight set so no additional stats is given and most importantly, it will cause player to be vulnerable to freezing. So i seriously do not see any need to implement for this armor at all. Player can easily be freeze by using this robe and like i mention it only has a slot which makes alot of difference compare to a 2 slot armor.

The usage of this robe is for quick damage but switching to different armor like king armor is still needed in order to tank high damage or prevent from freezing. If it is nerf due to obtaining of 100% after skill cooldown reduction, how about sniper class that has sniper suit which reduce 23% even more then the diablous robe, and also Super novice that can obtain 100% because of their doll weapon that provide 10% skill aftercast reduction? Maybe those weapon/armor should be nerf as well?

It's kind of unfair to a wizard class like me which already has a low hp to begin with and not to mention, GTB and maya card to counter. If want to be fair, i would suggest implement Super novice weapon and sniper suit as well then.

Nerf the SN weapon and sniping suit then. i doubt people even use sniping suit compared to the diabolus robe though.

There always a other way to solve the problem. Why does ppl keep on asking for nerf? always have pro and cons for it . If u eq with Diablous robe u will get freeze easily. Mean u can kill them easily also. +1 for heha suggestion

Especially Super Novice weapon, additional 10% of skill delay reduction which enable them to spam spell as fast as prof double bolt, definitely is a no go here. Moreover they have high hp and they don't get freeze even after obtaining the 100% skill delay reduction. Please nerf it GM.

Because it is written there in Bishop's reply. It wasn't intended to give any class 100% after-cast delay. So, instead of having one or few classes get it by switching gears, just remove it from every class.

Personally, I can agree with removing the after skill delay from the SN weapons (and maybe add a small different bonus) and disabling the sniper suit. The only class (imo) that truly needs the additional after skill delay reduction aside from kiels is Assassin cross. This since both sonic blow and sbk have a very bad spam rate unless they're at 95-100% after skill delay reduction. (2 sonic blows in a row with 90% or lower after skill delay reduction is not very effective and we all know the current SBK spam/usefulness.)Bolts however have a fine spam speed without reaching the 100%.

Please make sure you read the entire reply. Not only the first sentence. "We are selective in which classes need the after skill delay reduction to work and which are perfectly fine without it. " I did not state we need to get rid of all the additional after skill delay reduction aside from kiels. I said we are selective on which classes need it to be effective and which classes obviously don't need it. In this case Wizards and professors definitely do not need 100% after skill delay to be effective.

I agree that the wizard class has many downsides as it is and could use some buffs/help. However that's not the point of this topic. If you'd want something about the wizard to change, I'd recommend you to make a separate suggestion and suggest possible improvements for the wizard class.

Just here to mention that I think the priest rings also have reductions on after-cast delay. While I don't personally own one, I do recall seeing it. ...Though, priest isn't OP anyway so I don't think it matters.

Yes this. They have -10% skill delay on top of their 10% demihuman reductions on their weapon on top of their high hp. ONE OF THEM'S GOTTA GO (aka, -10% skill delay). Edited by Forum~
